After walking all of season one of a wonderful Shonen that has revived my faith in the Japanese animation industry, I have the sudden urge to take that amazing world and put it into rp form. So here I am, ready to make a My Hero Academia role play. The story is about the world where out of nowhere people started being born with powers, and now 80% of the population has superpowers, though most of them aren't anything special. So, when people starting going crazy about now having powers and the last generation not having them, people who just decided to be heroes stepped up and kept order until things were figured out. Now, heroing is a government regulated, capitalized the business, companies supporting and advertising their heroes like celebrities.

This rp takes us through the creation of the next generation of heroes: From their enrollment into the best hero school around U.A. to their debut as sidekicks all the way to them as heroes and the intense journey through it all.

I really hope this one gets some backing.

Inspecting the sword, Xi Shi furrowed her brow in sheer confusion. Partially due to the teachings of her Shaolin masters that Japanese martial arts are inferior and partially due to the fact that she did not see the practicality of this sword. The pummel was awkwardly long and the grip was uneven, appearing uncomfortable. The guard was a trapped guard, but she never felt those would be good in a fight due to the balance in weight and the fact she was a strength-based fighter. The serrated edge on the back of the blade and at the tip seemed more cumbersome to her than anything. Xi Shi looked to the sword for a long time and then, placing the sheath back on, she put the bottom of the blade in one hand, the tip in the other one then returned it to her.
"Your sword is unique. I would love to see you use it"
Name: Xi Shi lou
Appearance: W.I.P.
Age:Between 16

Personality: Xi Shi is very eccentric. Having not learned much of current slang and having had manners never taught to her, Xi Shi comes off as odd do to her child-like wonderment and attitude towards things. She seems oblivious to much of what the world has to offer and values sword fighting like many people do things like social media: something she seems to never be able to stop herself and couldn't see a world without. unashamed of the majority of her actions and obnoxiously loud and chatty, she can easily get on a more refined person's nerves.

year: 1st year

Background: Xi Shi was dropped at the door to a temple in china as an infant. the monks too this as a sign that the refusal of women in their temples was to finally come to an end and so they took her in, raised her as their own and as soon as she could stand on her own started to have her exercise and train. Begrudgingly the masters allowed her to train openly with them at the age of 6, but not believing her to be strong enough to fight with her fist they only taught her the basics of their hand to hand and forced her to learn entirely weapon-based combat. She trained day and night and her skill and determination proved extremely admirable, yet she became more and more of a nuisance in her anger of not being able to train with the others. She was told that she would be shown all she wants to learn under the circumstance that she goes to Claymore academy and returns as their number one pupil. Eager to show her worth and prowess she has entered.

keychain: At the bottom of the wooden blade is a talisman (fulu) made with red silk and embroidered with a golden yellow cloth to make their words. This is a Doaist talisman of strength that is tied around the hilt with leather strips with silverbells at the end if each strip. This functions much like the flail on the end of many weapons in shaolin.

Sword: Xi Shi has brought with her a weapon known affectionately as wu song, after a legendary pilgrim and warrior of china, know for defeating an 800Ib tiger with his bare hands.

This weapons is a reverse grip Zhanmadao, a long bladed Chinese sword with a wide blade, more than 4 inches thick. Hers is particularly thick and dulled in the middle, though extremely sharp towards the top. The weapon is made with a circular guard and the whole this is split down the middle to in fact be two swords that can efficiently be used as one when put together. The blade is made with a bright steel, the pummel and guard made for a tin alloy looking almost like gold. The grip is wrapped in silk to make it easier to grip without chaffing the hand. The whole thing is heavy and hard to use for anyone not trained in it's use.

Other things: Xi Shi has been eating much of the meals prepared in her temples, and as such she has had very little sugar up until now. This has caused her to gain a very intense sweet tooth.
Club: Grapple club (A club the focuses on the use of grapples, disarms and tangled combat in sword fights.
Student Council: She is not on the student council

That's a whole lot to a room, oh my
@The1Rolling1Boy After the red one responds I could force you into our talk. Maybe we're roommates!
I should have put more thought into these characters. Do you mind if I make another at some point if this one ever gets expelled, or leaves to return to the temple?
"The southern temples of Henan Shaolin!"
She responded, eager to respond, proud of her experience and confident she would be given praise. She puffed out her chest cheerfully, smiling with her eyes nearly closed in what seemed to be a pompous self-confident expression. She paused suddenly, opening her eyes and furrowing her brow. "You...are not trained properly?" She asked, almost worried as she looked around. This was a school of swordsmanship was it not? Surely they would not let in some brigand from the side of the road, and not just anyone took up the blade, those that did generally either fizzled out quickly or were devoted entirely. Yet, this girl seemed to be completely untrained.
"May I see your sword then?" She asked curiously.
@supertinyking I'd love to but there is very little interest. I suppose if it comes down to it we could do this privately.
@Blueflame

Xi Shi smiled, happy to have met the girl and opened the door, surprised to see two beds in her room. As the lone woman in the temples, she was not allowed to sleep in the same rooms as the men. She had assumed that would always be the case: no one else near her as she slept. As she stepped in, the place was nice. Monks did not need much room to live in so it would do. She worried that her heavy training gear would be tough for the other girl to get for her. Turning back to her new friend, she motioned her in.
"We sleep together?" She inquired, pointing to the beds and looking around. As soon as her stuff was here she was going to start training, but she didn't want Arir stealing her technique. Perhaps, however, she could take some from her.
"Where did you train?"
