"No, Ma, estoy bien." Esmeralda held the phone against her ear as she paced a quiet corner of the orientation hall. She had been ushered in by some of the staff after taking her luggage and promising to deliver it to her room. Seeing everyone pushed into one big room only made her more nervous and fidgety that she had begun to bite her nails again. "Nomas un poco nerviosa." She laughed quietly and glanced around her as students began to fill in the rest of the seats. "Creo que ya vamos a empesar, te hablo mas al rato." Esmeralda nodded to herself, "Okay, te quiero tambien."

After picking a seat near the exit, Esmeralda paid close attention to everything the staff of the Academy said. Her nail bitting had stopped halfway as they explained the basic rules of the school and the various things that were expected of the students. The thing that made her nerves act up again was the mention of teams. Esmeralda didn't mind teams as long as each team member pulled their weight and she was afraid she wouldn't be able to pull her own with everything she had to put up with.

It wasn't long before the students were ushered back out of the auditorium and into the cafeteria. Food, something that Esmeralda had been looking forward since the morning. Now that orientation was finally over, and she knew what the plan for the next few hours was she was able to relax just a tiny bit more.

After getting a plate full of what seemed to be edible food, she made her way towards the various tables buzzing with students talking to each other. She heard a few conversations left and right, but she ignored most and headed for an empty table. She was almost there when a tall guy bumped into her and made her spill her drink.

"Fu--" She was about to curse when someone else next to her someone a lot smaller slipped. Esmeralda had never been in a food-related accident, and this was defiantly something she had planned on. Food went flying in the air. A few green beans bounced on her head and down to her plate. Corn almost smacked her in the face too if she hadn't quickly ducked to avoid it.

"Ahh..." Esmeralda stood there and looked next to her to see the small girl who had been talking on her phone. "I am so sorry." Her voice didn't really convey her words, and they almost sounded fake, but she really meant it. She wasn't ready for this. Not even a little. Her first day and she was already causing trouble. "It wasn't my fault, some dude bumped into me and made me drop my drink. Fuck." She was a bit more worried about the green beans on her hair than anything else. "You okay?" She looked down at the smaller girl then the phone on the floor. Esmeralda picked it up and offered it to the girl. "I don't think it's broken." she flipped it to see if the screen was okay.

Navaeh had always wanted to visit the states. Go to LA and ride around Hollywood, go to Ney York and take a stroll around the Big Apple or even go to Vegas and see all the pretty casino lights. Instead, her first ever airplane trip to the states was to South Carolina. What was there to do in South Carolina?! Go to the local beach or maybe visit a historic plantation home? While her situation was not the best, Navaeh was still glad that she was out of France and away from her mother's perfectly manicured claws.

The flight itself wasn't bad. First-class with plenty of movies to get her through the eight hour trip over the Atlantic. It also gave her enough time to scroll through Instagram, go live a few times, and chat with some of her online friends. Navaeh had promised she was going to vlog her trip to Academy 003 and post about it. There was a YouTube channel all ready for her uploads. As promised, Navaeh filmed a quick intro in her first-class seat. She made sure to get the essentials; her outfit, her food, and her sponsors for the day! She'd have to make a little montage later on about the whole trip and upload it later, but for now, her followers would have to settle with some Snapchat and Instagram stories for now.

Navaeh arrived at school an hour before the orientation. Just enough time to get herself a shot of espresso to get her through the morning and take a few pictures of the academy. Maybe post a quick video on Insta too! Unfortunately, the reception by the auditorium seemed to be patchy. Really patchy. It had taken her two minutes to upload a thirty-second video. How was she supposed to get through with a year of this without good reception?

She just hoped she could get her hands into the wifi password or it was going to be living hell away from hell. She could always try the library later.

By the time orientation had started, Navaeh was already settled in a seat by the middle. Her whole attention was on her phone, though. Sure, she listened, but she didn't pay much attention. It was all just the basics of any school, and her mother had given her quite a lot of pamphlets about Academy 003. Besides, taking pictures of the bug lady was more important. Her followers would love that whenever the shitty reception allowed her to upload the images.

By the time orientation was over the pictures had been uploaded and her stomach was grumbling for some well-deserved food.

"I just hope it's not bad some nasty American cafeteria food," Navaeh said as she got in line for a plate. Anything but dried up bread and unseasoned food. Luckily, the academy seemed to be well-funded and well-staffed with cooks that did use something more than salt and pepper to season stuff! After she got herself a nice big plate of food, she sat in one of the few empty tables, and away from some obnoxious guy.

With a fork in one hand and her phone on the other, she snapped a quick selfie and began to eat. Her first official meal in Academy 003 located in the very boring state of South Carolina. Great.

INTERRACTIONS: CADBURY - @Stern Algorithm And the people on the boat. I'm a bit confused because there is a lot happening.

"Not part of the game?" Morgan looked at Cadbury before groaning when they opened their mouth after their incantation. Morgan was still not used to that. He could always give Cadbury a few pointers about making their magic look pretty. Functional and cute, that was Morgan's two favorite things. "Thanks, Cadbury, we're gonna have to move fast if we want to save one of the fashion capitals." And if Morgan also wanted to go to next years fashion show. Still, it almost felt like a drag being here. If this whole ordeal was not part of one of Cadbury's game, then what was the point? Besides saving New York anyway.

With a sigh, Morgan opened his book and flipped through some pages until he found the one he was looking for. "If this is as serious as you say then we have no choice but to use this. He placed a hand over the book and closed his eyes, concentrating on the energy. The wall of undead began to dissipate as Morgan's form began to glow bright pink. Just within seconds, Morgan's body had been consumed by a large sphere of light. His body had been replaced by a twenty feet red fox with a cute pastel pink around his neck.

In his fox form, Morgan grabbed Cadbury between his teeth and pushed passed the horde of shadows that were now turning into black blobs of something before shooting up in the air and towards the big French lady by the sea. With a set location now, Morgan raced through the city, weaving through cars and buildings until he found himself by the ocean, just miles away from the Statue of Liberty. There, he could see a large form where that thing was consuming all the now blob shadows.

So not cute. Ugh. Could seriously use a bit more color and some flare to it. What a loser.

Morgan summoned a wave of undead over the ocean and hopped on it before moving towards the island. Not too far away, he could see a few more people approaching the island. Some looked rather peculiar while others looked normal. Either way, the determination in their faces told him that they were all heading towards the same goal: to kill this fucker that ruined their day. Morgan was specially pissed, he could have been done planning everythig right about now and now here he was in the fox form with Cadbury between his teeth!

The biggest jerk ever!

Now, with less distance between him and the true enemy of fashion, Morgan moved the wave to the nearby boat. Careful to not step on the people- or what seemed to be people- already on the boat he let Cadbury down from his mouth. He knew how much they hated being stuck in there for more than what was needed.

"Hello lovelies, I am Morgan and this here is Cadbury." The large fox looked down at the people on the boat as he sat down in his fox form. "Hope we can all have a fun time killing this little bitch that ruined my day. Or night. Whatever." Morgan's large fox eyes were rolled before looking up at the large shadow. "That this is incredilably ugly.

Lilith was not expecting a ride like the one she saw when they approached the weird looking car. Was it even a car? It was definitely cool-looking that was for sure. After climbing into the car, with some difficulty due to her skirt, she watched Charles strap himself before following his instructions and example. After she was snuggled between the seat and the harness, she placed her bag between her legs and nodded towards the man.

"All ready for this big boy!" Lilith grinned and enjoyed the first few minutes of the ride, unaware that it would get a lot more intense in just a few minutes. When Charles pulled into an empty parking lot, Lilith arched an eyebrow at him wondering what he was going to do. Then everything happened so quickly Lilith didn't have time to even register something about an "Oh Shit" handle. All she felt was her stomach rising and then dropping just as quick as the front of the vehicle picked up then slammed down on the ground.

"Holy fucking shit." Lilith said after a few seconds when the ride was over. It all had happened so quickly. Her heart was still beating hard against her chest that she could even hear her pulse. "That was the best ride ever. I am one hundred perfect sure." A whole lot better than Lilith had expected, that was for sure.

After taking some time to fix her hair, that she had forgotten to put in a ponytail, she climbed off the car and leaned against it to look at Charles. "That was the best offer for a ride I've ever gotten, thank you." Lilith felt a bit formal saying this to him, but it had honestly been the best ride ever. "Hope we can do it again, here." She pulled out a small notepad and wrote her number on it. "If you ever need someone to show off to, you can call me." She handed him the piece of paper to him and gave him a grin before waving and returning to the shop.

Once inside the shop, Lilith made sure to check her reflection on the window. There were a few hairs sticking out, and she did her best to fix them before heading back to the couches. The adrenaline from the ride was still running through her, and she felt like she could take on the world. Or just a singing competition. Was it a competition? Whatever! Lilith was almost up, and she couldn't wait to see the cute girl.

"Cute girl!" Lilith said as she spotted the woman she had given her number to a few minutes before. It almost felt like a long time because of the ride. Lilith walked over with a big smile and a hop to her walk and took a seat on the empty couch next to hers.

"This is exciting." Lilith wrapped a finger around a lock of pink hair and bounced her right leg slightly. It was clear she was still on the adrenaline high. It almost felt like her usual highs at home. Almost. "Good luck up there. I'm happy I got here before you could play! I wrote my name on the list too, and I still have no idea what I want to sing. I don't even sing." Lilith laughed a bit to herself watched the cute girl next to her, then glanced at her guitar. "Nice instrument you got there. Do you sing a lot? Do you know how to play the piano too? Would you like to go get something to eat after this?" No no, this adrenaline high was better than her usual highs.

Alejandro coughed and covered his mouth to hide the small laugh that almost escaped his lips. He wasn't surprised about it at all. Not the ring tone and not the woman's career. It was almost predictable. After clearing his throat, Alejandro composed himself a bit and ran a hand through his hair. "I'm from California, San Diego, to be precise. I've been here for a few weeks now." A little lie here and there. He always made sure to keep the place of his home close to one another in case he has a slip-up. Lying to Alejandro came naturally and fast, almost like second nature to him. With a hand on the back of his neck, he smiled down at the Siobhan.

Alejandro laughed and extended his arm a bit to show off the Aztec symbols on his arm. "These tattoos are mostly from Mexican culture. The one on my back is a lot more impressive than these." He lowered his hand back to hide the small tattoo on his wrist. It wasn't very visible due to his smartwatch, but it was still there. No questions about that tattoo had very specific lies he had to say, and he was not in the mood for those lies.

"I am the proud owner of the Golden Flower. Never thought I would get so much traction in just a few weeks." While the shop was a perfect guise for his real business, the fact that the shop was doing so good was not something Alejandro had expected. It made things a lot easier. The more workers needed, the more people he had in Sol City in case things went bad with the VIPs of the city. The very VIPs he had yet to meet face to face.

"Oh? Business?" Alejandro arched an eyebrow at the artist and tapped his bearded chin for a second. "I am not about to get my day ruined by some emo-looking band, and baseball does sound better than the police."[/color] anything was better than some pigs. "Why don't we pay for these and head out for that little baseball business trip?" Some more traction wouldn't help his shop either way, and Siobhan looked like the person who knew how to have fun.

Just as he was starting to lead Siobhan to the cash register, he felt his phone vibrate again. "Go ahead, I have to take this call," He gave the woman an easy smile as he brought the phone up to his ear.

"Originally from Delta City, Paige Renee Kennedy is a Deputy US Marshall fairly new to the city. Although her time in the city has been short, she has done enough to put the city's underground to some unrest. She has had a track record of bending the law from what her records say and the contradicting things I've heard." Alejandro could hear Mara's unrest through the line. He could tell she was serious about this one. "That woman you were talking to is close friends with the Deputy, I suggest you befriend her, sir. Keep her close, and you can use her as leverage if it comes to it."

"Hm, I noticed." Alejandro gave Siobhan a quick smile before looking down at the records in his hand. "What else can you get me? I know those flowers can be pretty difficult to find, and expensive too. This upcoming event is going to be pretty big."

"We are working on gathering more information. We only know the basics and what is on the files of the department. We know she is closely involved with some past VIPs and current VIPs of the city." There was a short pause, then John cut in.

"Even from the surface it looks like this might be a difficult job, sir. We have to keep our eyes peeled for anything. A lot has happened in this city, and we have to be careful."

Alejandro heard shifting and a small grunt from John. Mara had probably taken the phone away from him, "And the man there, the one who came in with the band. He's the one who is closest to our VIP. If we can make contact with him, we can maybe get a meeting with the man."

Alejandro looked up to watch Siobhan for a second then glanced back at the bar. "No yeah, I think we can manage an order like that. Thank you for calling, please do let me know if more of those flowers come into stock. Thank you." Alejandro shoved his phone back into his pocket and turned back to Siobhan. "Treat me to a beer in the game, and I'll send you free samples from the shop." His tone was teasing and playful again. That had been a lot of information, just a matter of minutes. He needed time to process everything he had just heard and a drive to the stadium would be perfect to get his thoughts back together and form a plan.

At least now they knew who were some of the key pieces in the game.
