Background:
Nightpaw was once a she-cat with many brothers and sisters. However, tragedy struck one day, and an outbreak of greencough scoured WaveTribe. Several cats, many of them kits, perished in such a devastating blow to the Tribe. And unfortunately, Nightpaw was the only one in her litter who survived.
Her parents, Fernlight and Crowflight, were horrified that all of their kits, save for one, died. Instead of grieving for moons on end, they coddled Nightpaw. They shadowed her, seeing what she was up to and what she was doing at many points of the day. This led Nightpaw to become stubborn and frustrated, and she has become distant with her parents ever since then.
When Nightpaw became an apprentice, her parents laid off a little and gave her space. They still watch her from afar, and she knows that, while they might be overly protective at times, she knows that they are proud of her.
Fernlight is a sweet she-cat, as sweet as one could be. One wonders how the large Crowflight could have fallen in love with her; the tom is considered overly serious and emotionless, but it can be seen that he smiles whenever Fernlight and Nightpaw are around.
Personality:
Many might think that Nightpaw is sassy and spoiled, but this is due to the fact that she was spoiled a large amount when she was a kit. All in all, she is a strong, independent she-cat, and believes she has the mental fortitude of a full warrior. However, this is what she believes; she is still very green, and has never fought in battle. Once one gets past the sassy mouth and her sharp claws, they can tell that she is an overall friendly Tribe member who will stand by her friends and allies in battle.

Flamestorm was often thrown under a rock and ignored, especially during kithood. His brothers, Scorchkit and Stormkit, received all of the attention from their mother, Dewtail. She despised Flamekit from the start, often screaming at him and telling him that he wasn't her kit. This, of course, heavily traumatized Flamekit, and he usually avoided his family and spent time with his friends. It was when he was an apprentice that Flamepaw discovered the truth about his mother's disdain towards him. She had been ambushed by a stray rogue and raped, and it turned out that he looked exactly like his "father".
He trained diligently, becoming cocky and thinking he was better than everyone else... which, in fact, he was. Flamepaw rose higher than any other apprentice, and became a warrior at the early age of 11 moons. He was named Flamestorm after his fiery spirit, and his rather aggressive attitude towards others.
Dewtail, Stormfang, and Scorchbelly still live within WaveTribe, but Flamestorm and them do not get along. His mother still thinks lowly of him, even though he has already done many things to impress his Tribe. She was always a cruel she-cat, and sometimes even gave her other sons the cold shoulder.
Stormfang and Scorchbelly are fresh warriors, but, like before, they do not get along with Flamestorm at all. They refuse to share tongues with him, but he couldn't care less. Stormfang is a loyal and reliable warrior, and Flamestorm sometimes calls him a "rear-licker" who thinks that he will one day rule over the Tribe as Stormsky. Scorchbelly is more like Flamestorm, and the two often get into scuffles before Stormfang is able to separate them.

Cunning, ambitious, and borderline condescending. Flamestorm loves his she-cats and will do anything to impress them. He wields a sharp tongue and rather hostile attitude to those he dislikes. This young tom is as stubborn as a rock, and he will likely not listen to those older than him, save for the chief. Despite this, Flamestorm is extremely loyal, and will do anything for those he has feelings for and his Tribe itself.
Interestingly enough, Flamestorm has a soft spot for kits.

Iceheart lived a rather normal life, that was, until he reached apprenticehood. The young tom, Icepaw, was told that he would become the next shaman's apprentice. This of course, went all against his plans of becoming a full-fledged warrior. He wanted to fight for his Clan, not spend the rest of his life inside some musty old hole sniffing leaves. Unfortunately for him, that was just the case. Icepaw worked hard as a shaman apprentice, but he decided to take up some training on how to protect himself. He wanted to fight back if he was attacked while healing tribemates in the midst of battle, or while he was out collecting herbs.
Things changed when Iceheart got his full name at 18 moons old. As he was being visited by SkyTribe, he learned that his fate had changed; he was not to live out the rest of his days as a shaman. Disappointment rung heavy in his heart. Becoming a shaman was what he was trained to do, and even though he was spiteful at first, he had begun to enjoy treating his tribemates and making sure all of them stayed healthy and fit.
He renounced his position, telling those the truth when he was questioned about his change of mind. After spending some time training under a mentor, he was able to defend his Clan as a full-fledged fighter. Iceheart is a young warrior, almost inexperienced, but he still learns to this day.

Iceheart is blunt and to the point. He doesn't like to beat around the bush when doing things or telling someone what they need to hear. Cold-hearted, stoic, and almost irritable, there are many that do not approach him. Those who do, however, often enjoy his talkative attitude; he may be kind of dry and stubborn, but he is a great listener and will often give good advice and opinions. Just don't annoy him too much-- he'll claw your ears off. Deep inside, Iceheart is a sweet tom cat who wishes the best for his tribemates. He is mellow and calm, almost serious, but he truly does not mean any harm.

@Vashonn Question, can one of my characters be the ex-Shaman apprentice of WaveClan? Maybe SkyTribe could have sent a message, and stated that he has to be a warrior, not a shaman?
