Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

@Aeonumbrawow hope things are okay for you, stay safe!

I use military time too, it kind gets beaten into you in nursing. I rarely think about it now. I'll try and use normal time

"I'm doing okay" Pheohe said, watching the boy, still crouched almost protectively. Was there something wrong? Pheohe couldn't tell. But when he took the glasses, and put them on, he seemed to relax, although didn't get out of his crouch. "What about you? And what happened to cause the kids...attack?"

Kalinda knew that Roxy didn't have any oRticular warm feelings towards bedroom,
Nor anyone right then, but seemed content to accept help. Kalinda didn't really care about warm feelings. Although there were some feelings out there that she wouldn't mind having herself. Like the falling sensation of...the beginnings of love. People really didn't know just how literally the saying falling in love was. Kalinda wasn't s romantic, but she imagined that it was a warm,

Fuzzy feeling and it was something she wanted. A little bit of happiness. She looked back t Roxy, "I can't really tell you how the pizza is here, at least not the meat pizza, but most students seem to have it. One girl appears to be considered a love affair with it so it must be good" Kalinda surprised herself by giving a soft laugh, "it's just over here" she said, guiding Roxy to it, reaching over to grab them a plate each. "I can direct you to a bench, but there's a lot of people. Are you good at walking in crowds of hungry, excited, powered kids?"

"Guns aren't that bad" Connor said, "dad made me learn to use one, before he'd let me even start on a suit. Something about how can I control the suit, basically a weapon, if I couldn't control a gun. I prefer the suit, but as long as you don't do anything stupid, you'll be fine" he gave her what he hoped was a reassuring smile, "of course you will be fine. They're good, they keep on talking about a vacation, but it's never going to
Happen. They love their work too much"

Sasha smiled at Karn, holding him close and just right enough so he could breath, but not slip out her arms. She shifted her satchel strap as well so that it wouldn't pinch him, and after a last look around, started back to the guild, deciding that they could all do with being back there

"we didn't exactly have a locked cabnit full of alcohol. And if you're drunk on the road, you tend to get mugged" Michael said with a shrug, watching Prince's antics with the bottles. Use to Prince causing mischief by now it was nevertheless still amusing, but the barkeeper didn't seem to think so.

More then expecting the hug, Michael still blushed, but did hug Prince back
"good then, we shall proceed to one of the training areas, to access your skills. This is simply so we know where we are beginning with all of you, as whether you are support or combat, you need to know how to defend yourselves" Oliva said "up, up! Follow me!"

Cassandra gave a sigh, and rose. She was worried about this session, worried about what could happen. She'd been told what she could do, and she didn't want it happening here, not now. But she didn't see any way out of it. Wrapping her arms around herself like a hug, she made sure she had her gear before reluctantly following Oliva ojt, wondering if she could just...slip away. She doubted that she could, and soon they were at a room that was clearly designed for training. Wooden floors, training gear along the walls and most importantly lots of space. It looked like some sort of station training thing was in the process of being set up, but a rather large man, with dark skin and dark hair. It was clear he was well muscled, and seemed surprised to see them there.

"finish early, Oliva?" the mans voice rumbled, but he spoke softly

"all of them have the taint already, so I thought we'd move on"

"all? That's quite odd" the man genuinely seemed surprised by that, and he looked over the class

"it is, very observant on that Simon. A good mixture here, let's see what they have"
As everyone began to gather, Cassandra greeted them all, happy to simply be out, to be enjoying a weekend out with friends, and to not feel guilty for doing so. She wanted to be able to form tight ties, wanted to say in ten years she was still friends with these people, still enjoyed hanging out with them. She knew it wasn't likely, given how lunch changed things, how life changed, but she wanted to be able to say she was still who she wanted to be. And her friends were apart of that.

Everyone just seemed to arrive within moments of each other, and that was good. She counted them off, and saw a problem. While they could travel easily enough to the camp site in the RV, it was doubtful they would all fit when sleeping, unless they were all happy cuddling up together. Which wasn't a bad idea, to Cassie. Amused at herself, she supposed it was a good thing she had remembered a tent, even if it was an unstable sort, squashed in the bottom of her bag.

She was also glad that she had brought her guitar, knowing that music choice's might be limited at the camp site, but also just wanting to share some of her work. Ready to go, she looked about at the others, for now, staying silent.
Hm. I'll have a look and see sorry been distracted
