Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Niesha

location: Smokey road
interacting with:Sophie, @Nallore Astrid, @Lady Amalthea

Niesha had thought many things might happen. The house would catch fire, the wallers attracted to it and Sophie and herselr would escape being primary among them. Yet she hadn't thought that one of the women would approch them and offer them what little safety there was to be had here. The mention of walls was a hard choice for her. Given what had happened the last time she had had walls, she wasn't too eager to get behind them again. This time, she supposed it would be different, yet how long would it be before it was realised she had real, valuable and useful skills? She could make medications, after all and knew about herbal and alternative medicines, something she had relied on heavily in her previous community. She didn't want to have influence again. It hurt too much when she lost people.

Only...what if some of her commmunity was behind those walls? Wouldn't it be pleasurable to know some of them were still alive? Niesha supposed she never really gave up hope, on anything. She looked to Sophie, and gave her a slight smile. "I have yours, too." she looked to Astrid, hesitating slightly. Throwing her pack in the wagon, she kept a hold of her bow and a handful of arrows, before swinging up onto the horse, using the offered hand.

"So" Niesha said, as if they were merely taking a leisurely stroll on a nice day, as she settled herself easily behind Astrid, "Where did you get a draft horse around these parts? Not exactly the type I'd expect to find here" she knocked an arrow, but didn't pull back, knowing she could easily do so in seconds as she looked about them. Reasured that Sophie was in the wagon, Niesha turned her attention back to making sure there were no walkers approaching.

"Thank you. The dead won't be distracted by the fire for long, especially if one sees us. I assume since you are alive, the horse is fast, and if he or she gets us out of here, I will be forever grateful." Niesha sometimes had a hard time conveying emotion, yet she wasn't truly trying to e offensive, but rather trying to expressive the need to get moving and the gratitude at the womans help.
Nies would wait, pondering Eclipse words. Things might indeed be very different, if the White King found out who she was in the game. Which probably wouldn't be that hard now she supposed. For once, it appeared, she would probably be bringing trouble to Eris. Hesitating, Nies said "okay..." she trailed off, deciding not to add to Eclipses problems right then, "I'll wait. I won't interfere" she said instead, moving to the side and away from the battle.

She had every confidence that Eclipse would win. So far, Nies hadn't seen her lose. It was hard to merely watch as Eris fought but she kept to her promise to stay out, sighing softly to herself, she held her staff and checked about her to make sure there was no one sneaking about.

Cassandra

Location: hospital
Interacting with: @lydyn@Nallore

When Gloria sat on the bed, Cassandra breathed in deeply, and for a moment was overwhelmed with rosemary and sage, an interesting combination that seemed to bring about wet, green days, and campfires. Both things Cassie loved. Another scent, somehow full of blossoms and the sea, fainter then the sage and Rosemary, came to Cassie, and she couldn't help but think what a pleasant combination the two different scents gave.

Looking passed Gloria, she spied another girl. She blinked, but didn't say anything, looking back to Gloria as she spoke, in a way that seemed to be knowing. Perhaps she did know something. Cassandra didn't know much about the Wiccan faith truly, but there was a lot of strange things out there. Why not premonition?

She looked down as Gloria patted her hand. That made her feel slightly reassured. She felt...safe. Something she didn't feel often. She looked back to Gloria once more, and smiled slightly, finding herself weary, which probably wasn't surprising, but...

"I guess we got to the grounds a bit late and then there was..ah, just normal stuff. And then the wolf attack...will...will you stay? I don't want to be alone, and I sent my aunt home because I didn't want her sleeping in a chair, and hurting her back or something...your friend can stay too if she wants...please" Cassie knew she was asking a lot, and it seemed likely that Gloria had plans with the other girl. But knowing her friends were okay, or at least not going to die, she just knew she didn't want to be alone.

She looked to the other girl, and said "if you'd like to come in, you can. I'm sorry for being the cause of any plans disturbed...I'm Cassandra"
