Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Master Jamie
@Zarkun
Troubled, Jamie watched mako leave. There was something going on, of course there was quite a lot going on. She gave a sigh, glancing back to the battles, she searched for Amelia's magic, reassured it was still there and strong. She let out a soft breath, and figuring all was okay, she glanced about. Sensing some powerful magic, she once more thought tnere was more going on then anyone knew.

Perhaps it was a mistake to participate in the games.

Jamie glanced once more to the battle, and hoping Amelia was truly okay and figuring Ellis at least would tell her if she wasn't, Jamie started towards the Dragon Fang hotel, figuring she would start there for Jack. It seemed it was time to share everything she knew.

Jamie had already figured out that the red headed girl was apart of the lodge, but hadn't expected her to be the owners daughter. "Well, aren't I lucky then" she said with a smile, keeping the brochure and putting it in a pocket, for later reference. At the mention of an event at the lodge, Jamie appeared thoughtful, debating with herself. She chewed her lip, but supposed she could stay a little bit longer then she had planned, why not?

Accepting Annelise's hand, Jamie shook it, and said "I'm Jamie. I'd be glad for any help" she said, truthfully all she knew of skiing was that it was done on long, thin, plank like objects with sticks. She didn't even know what else she would need. She gave an almost rueful smile, and said "Do you sell those beanies? Maybe I'll need one for if I get lost. Its quite bright and can be seen" she gave a laugh at herself, following Annelise as she started to head off.

As they stopped to watch the magician, Jamie watched with curiosity as he did a card trick. While she sometimes found magic boring, especially if it was the same old tricks over and over again, she liked to try and figure them out. This magican seemed capable, and girls around him seemed to be enjoying it. "is he always here?" she asked Annelise, looking to the other girl, skiing forgotten for tne moment.
Niesha

location:Initially Sophie and Nieshas apartment, then moving towards the mess hall

niesha have a sigh, and decided to argue anymore about trying to make amends. That involved them actually wanting to make amends with her. She could go and talk herself hoarse, it wouldn't do any good unless they actually listened to her. And Froggy didn't seem to be one to listen. She saw Sophie sigh, looking to her missing hand.

"it will take a while, but you'll soon be able to do lots of things you could before..." she said softly, trailing off. She couldn't keep the guilt out of her voice, and if she could hear it, Sophie could to, and there was no point starting that discussion again.

As she went on to say she had dated a girl, Niesha found herself almost whiplashed by emotions, glancing away as she moved to grab the wheelchairs handles. She didn't really know what to say, and gave a heavy sigh "I guess...that it doesn't really matter where they are. We can't do anything but worry and wonder. Maybe we find some hint, and maybe we can find them. But maybe doesn't help with survival. My brother...if I couldn't find him in 19 years...is probably long gone. My college room mate...well, she was strong, so if anyone could make it through it would be her. She was...well, she was just about my first everything" first kiss, first love, first true friend...Niesha shook her head, "but hope is all we have, and perhaps that is what makes humanity so...able to survive, even with something like this"

She pushed the chair, putting most of her weight behind it to start the initial push, and started out their apartment. She decided to start at the essentials, and then work their way around, heading towards the mess hall.

Cassandra quickly hid her hand, slipping the glove back on, as she rolled over to face Lorenzo. "Oh. Okay" she said, wondering what people would put a girl and boy together, was it some sort of joke? "sorry, i kinda claimed a bed" she said, sitting up and brushing hair back from her face.

Gabriel deflated a little, but he nevertheless defended himself "oh, I'm sorry, the annoying chatter box of a spirit forced on me has completely filled my mind. I got the dragon, what yesterday?" had he even formed s contract with the dragon? He couldn't quite remember. "besides, like I said. every spirit has its own skills, and I use them as see fit: I didn't think of the dragon because I'd rather not be squished by a collapse" he gave a sigh, and fell silent, troubled.

The blue haired youth looked down, feeling like he was a failure as a celestial Mage, he couldn't even keep his spirits straight in his own mind. Someone else had to remind him.

He wasn't worth his keys, he knew that, but he was trying. He just wished it didn't often seem like failing. "I'm sorry" he said softly, and this time it was genuine rather then sarcastic.

As Ferris just about swept her away, she looked back over her shoulder and sent one last smirk at the girls, but one that was also laced with physical retributions if they so much as thought of trying to steal Ferris from her. Not that she was worried any of them would succeed, but she would rather not have her self esteem take another hit.

She wasn't expecting to literally be swept of her feet and carried to the bed, but she snuggled into him, as he held her. Never had she felt so...warm, and safe. It made her feel reassured, and well, wanted. She relaxed, and as he nuzzled her, she could feel that warm feeling flow through her.

He was just so perfect. Kind, caring, wonderfully geeky and nerdy, funny and just down right amazing. Those girls wouldn't see that, all they saw was the outer shell, and not the wonderful inward one that was truly Ferris. Oh, was she truly gone over him. She smiled, and wrapped her arms around him once more, hugging him. "You can go first" she said, quite happy to just lay there and enjoy what she was feeling for a little bit. "only cause I should go get some clothes that aren't covered in that stuff" perhaps she should think about keeping clothes here.

Jamie was just contemplating whether or not to try skiing, where she would probably make a fool of herself, but it would be fun, right? When someone approached her. The girl seemed younger then here, but not much. She was certainly cheerful, and willing. Jamie smiled, and looked down at the brochure she had picked up, about skiing, before looking back to the girl.

"Well, I was thinking of trying my hand at skiing. Never done it before, will probably fall flat on my butt more times then I can count, but ts all about trying, isn't it? Having fun. I'm only here a couple of days, can't stay away from college or work too long, so what would you recommend?"

Jamie spoke cheerfully, clearly a friendly individual. Not for the first time she wondered why she was here. The cold generally wasn't something she liked, but something free her bere. Perhaps the chance to do something she normally wouldn't. She smiled again, holding up the brochure.

"So tell me, are these beginner lessons only for kids or can adults join? And if so, will I be the only one there?" She gave a laugh, at her own expense but it was full of merriment, "not that that will stop me! I came here to conquer another skill and I will do it!" It was clear that Jamie wasn't a shy person, but was quite a happy one, content to make conversation with someone she just met, as well as to put a teenage girl in her place without a care.
