Dead Gods Dream: A post-apocalyptic divine action-adventure RP

The water god was surprised by Ashte’s willingness to go up against an entire empire. While the recent battle had heated Trineon’s blood, he was in no mood to fight a war, even with his fellow gods at his side. In the past, Trineon had seen many naval battle, and the general rule was that the larger fleet would win. And these mortals serving this Holy Emperor had strange weapons like that tube thing.

Deciding to focus on something beside how outnumbered they were, Trineon instead decided to watch Flora. She was silently crying in front of the dead knight. Clearly he was very important to her. Trineon felt great sympathy toward her, silently praying for peace for her. But his prayer would be interrupted by the injured mortal, spouting more stupidities about the gods dieing.

Trineon glared at the mortal, contemplating killing him right now. However Ashte beat him to it, forming an axehead that decapitated the mortal. Trineon felt some relief as his head rolled a few feet from his body. At least now the mortal couldn’t bother Flora with anymore of his rantings.

Trineon turned back toward the young priestess, seeing that O’Menus was comforting her next to the knight. Trineon walked over to the young girl as Alasayana sat next to her. The goddess would then ask her about Sir Oren. Having nothing to add with his words, Trineon instead decided to focus on her tears. Reaching his hand out, calling on divine magic not used in centuries, Trineon took control of her tears. With a wave of his hand, the tears lifted off the priestess’s face, floating away from her and off into the distance.

Avonshire - D&D Based Adventure

It's been quite a while since I last played D&D. So I'm totally down for this. Right now I have ideas for a cleric or rogue (both classes I've never played before) but that could completely change by the time I finish my character sheet.

Gargoyles: the Return

It just so happens that I'm about three quarters of the way of watching Gargoyles on Disney+. As such I am definitely in the mood to do this kind of roleplay. An older Lexington starting a new clan in a new city is an interesting idea. Right now I have no idea of what kind of character I'll play.

Kalal Hett

Kalal Hett

Appearance:

Kalal stands at six foot tall, with a well toned build. His skin is a creamy brown in colour, with no scars or marks due to his privileged life. His eyes are a dark brown, while his black hair goes down to his shoulders. Kalal tends to wear expensive clothing, with many fancy jackets, pants, and boots. Kalal wears a turban whenever he is attending a formal function.

Bio:

Kalal was born in southwestern Kingdom of Djieh, the eldest son of the Hett Dynasty. Djieh was a country of many environments, with beautiful forests, vast deserts, and sprawling mountains. It had made its wealth from exporting rare spices grown on farms, and gems mined from the mountains. There had been a dark age where the country was in chaos, but the Hett family would end up taking over the nation, ruling it for the last several hundred years. Part of their rule was the fact that all of its Kings had been Wizards.

King Lazaan was no different, born with magic. While he was not a particularly powerful Wizard, Lazaan did use the fact his family had magic as a reason why they were fit to rule. He expected that fact to remain when his first son was born, naming him Kalal. Brought up in the court of the capital city, from a young age Kalal began his studies, learning history and math. Once he turned six, his father the King tried to begin his magical studies. However, it quickly became apparent that Kalal had no magical aptitude.

Bewildered by this, King Lazaan tried everything he could to awaken the magic in Kalal. But after several years of effort, Lazaan finally accepted that his son had no magic. He then decided to try siring a son with magic, but after having three more children, all girls, Lazaan gave up as he was now too old to conceive any more children.

While this was going on, Kalal became painfully aware of how much of a let down he was for having no magic. So he threw himself into his studies, wishing to become a wise and fair King. Eventually King Lazaan would accept Kalal as his heir. But the thought of his dynasty being threatened by the lack of magic weighed heavy on his head. But Lazaan would come up with a backup plan when King Harold of Astalia gave his proposal of marriage with the other kingdoms’ princes. Seeing a marriage alliance with Astalia as a way to ensure the strength of Kalal’s rule, Lazaan immediately agreed. While Kalal wished he had asked him first, he did see the point of this strategic alliance, and soon left to make the journey across the continent to reach Astalia.

Other:

Kalal has OCD in relation to checking things repeatedly and counting things. He does his best to hide this as he views it as unbecoming of a future King.

That all sounds awesome. While Hakon is mostly focused on being a thief, he would probably have resentment toward the Asgardian pantheon over how they treated him and his father.

There is no posting order. As a general rule, I wait for everyone to post once before I reply again. If you want to post before someone else, go ahead. If you're going to wait for @Bright_Ops maybe give him another day or two, before you go ahead with your post. But its totally up to you.
