poor Iravis with all these heart attacks attacking her
Masako Mizushima

One kick after another, Masako was breaking bones left and right (of course, not her own bones, that would be kinda bad). She yanked off the tie around her neck and swung it with as much power as she could, watching it extend to its maximum length. One sweep was all that was needed to clear the path to the castle a bit more.

Suddenly, loud chanting hammered at Masako's eardrums, almost making her topple over from the shock. The previously clear sky was engulfed in raging flames as a figure fell from the sky, crashing onto one of the beaten up buildings in the surrounding area. Upon closer look, Masako realised something.

"Holy… shit."

Another skeleton.

This one wasn't like the others, though. It seemed to be able to stand on two feet -two feet- just fine, unlike the slithering bone structures that Masako could shatter with a simple poke. Was this another villain? Was this their king? The one who had caused this whole dilemma in the first place?

Oh, Masako wasn't going to let that go too easily.

"GOOD MORNING MEGATROPOLIS! YOU CAN CALL ME MURRAY, AND I'VE GOT ONE QUESTION FOR YOU ALL! ARE YOU READY..."

The skeletal being suddenly came to a halt, glancing at the wrecked E-District. "Alright, what the hell is this? I was told there'd be an audience waiting for the opening concert. Did Beelzeboss give me the wrong address again?! Hey, you, with the costumes and shit, is this Megatropolis? I got a gig here and I'm not sure where they wanted me."

Masako shouted her lungs out, expressing both her anger and need to be noticed by this eardrum-impaling skeleton. "There ain't no audience to perform to, dumbass! If you actually took that fucking blindfold of yours off then you would be able to see a majority of your 'audience' under shittonnes of rubble!"

The angered woman stomped her heel onto a chunk of building, loud enough for the cloaked skeleton and the rest of the heroes to hear.

"Look here, skeleton man. I don't know what you did to Megatropolis before you fell outta the sky, but it sure is looking like shit now that you've planted a goddamn castle in E-District. If you're just gonna stand there and let your bony fingers get tangled up in those guitar strings, then I'll come over and beat what's left of you to dust!"

Of course, Masako still had no idea that this bony figure had no association to this (supposedly) magically constructed castle. But, being the clichéd reckless heroine she was, jumping to conclusions was the norm. Did she care if the others were annoyed at her actions? Hell no.

Did she care about taking down this supposed enemy despite the chances of his label as a villain being her own misconception?

Hell yes.

The woman took longs strides as she sprinted towards the wrecked building, then leaping into the air to reach the skeletal rock star. Now a few metres above the building roof, Masako prepared herself to land a devastating kick onto the skeleton.

"If you're gonna decide to wreck this entire city, then you'll have to fight me head on first!"

Yes, the Principal was definitely one that you wouldn't want to piss off. Well, the fact that she got pisses off easily made it all the much harder.

"It's permanent expulsion for you, skeleton man!"

After the boy had introduced himself as the 'Heir of the Xiao Long house, Lin Hua', he walked over to one of the beds, rejecting Vera's friendly handshake.

"Hope we get along, I guess. Also, if my parents roped you into this, then don't worry, go ahead and try to do what the others do. I'll just be over here, ignoring you."

I'm sure you ignoring me would be extremely beneficial for the both of us, though.

"Well… I'm not really sure what you are implying, but if it's what I think it is, then I assure you that I won't do what you previously expected me to do. As long as we don't end up trying to obliterate this dorm in a fit of rage then I'm sure we'll have a much… calmer experience this year."

Again, Vera smiled.

"Hello... Girl.... Pleased to Meat you~... Oh my... I must say you do look Sweet... I could just... Gobble... you... up!...."

"Oh?"

Vera's eyes fell on the what seemed like a cross between a human being and a wolf of some sort, one which was most likely the boy's familiar. The words it–she spoke made the young lady raise an eyebrow. If anything, Vera wasn't particularly fond of being dismembered and eaten by a creature such as this one. Vera let out a light chuckle, smiling at the wolf/fox girl.

"Well, am I flattered! But, I will say this, just a minor life lesson from me; humans beings aren't exactly… tasty. I wouldn't want a person's tainted soul leaving a foul aftertaste in that mouth of yours. If you were to eat mine, well, then there's a high chance you would gag in disgust and spit it out. Yes, humans can be quite… 'foul tasting' sometimes."

Although Vera's eyes didn't seem to change colour, anyone could tell that there was an errie, dark mist beginning to brew inside of them. The girl was now centimetres away from the familiar, gazing down upon her with a ghostly smile. In all honesty though, this was just Vera's way of saying, 'Please don't eat me, I am not fucking food. Oh, yeah, humans can be dicks too, so watch yer step.'

Oops. My mask seems to have slipped off again.

Returning to her much more cheerful self, Vera backed away, hoping the wolf-eared girl wouldn't chomp off her limbs this time. She took a small glance at Lin and then back at the familiar.

"Oh, I do hope you can forgive me for my rudeness. My name is Vera Meadows. I'm guessing you're a new student at Liseranna Academy along with your master here?"

Of course, Vera had no knowledge of these two already being students at the academy. However, encountering a fenir at this school was definitely a first.

Things were definitely getting interesting.

@GrafRoy Zeppeli @Iatos
@Rune_Alchemist only a few days into this IC and I'm already seeing future ships that will sail in the treacherous seas of my mind.

also, if vera somehow goes insane in this RP then my next post is probably going to be the first thing i look back on after transforming a pleasant young lady into a devilish psychopath who shoves thorns up peoples butts for fun

behold the human rosebush
@TheHangedMan Yup, still interested
Time to finally get some proper sleep. Yay.
Vera Meadows

Once again, a new school year had started for the young Lady Vera. Although her face didn't show it that much, the girl was struggling to contain her excitement. A new year meant new experiences, and new experiences meant new… well, experiences. Even if there were bound to be many mishaps down the road of her fourth year at Liseranna Academy, Vera was looking forward to it. She was now even able to be put into a squad of her own and go on those oh so exhilarating missions the people above her would gossip about on a daily basis. The butterflies in Vera's stomach where continuing to multiply by the second.

Dressed in a beige trench coat with a grey and white, (just over) knee-length dress, Vera took soft steps into the ever growing crowd of students. At least she could actually breathe and see what was happening overhead; being around 5'9 definitely had its perks.

New faces, old faces, just-popped-out-of-my-mother's-womb faces… Was it her, or where the amount of younger students getting larger by the year?

"Good afternoon, good girls and boys!"

It was as if the man was right in front of her, speaking the exact words he was currently voicing to the rest of the sea of teens. It was a little creepy to be honest. Like a small whisper, Director A's voice resounded in Vera's head.

"Firstly, I thank you for being here as students of Liseranna. Whether you've been here already or are a newbie in this school, it is a pleasure all the same. I, Director A, hope to make your stay enjoyable. In any case, I like to be able to talk to my students and surprise them with the occasional magic trick. If you'd please check in your pockets, everyone."

Following the man's instructions, Vera felt in both of her coat pockets, finding a small piece of paper after taking her hands out.

Only Mixed Dorm Arrangement

  • Xiao Long Lin Hua
  • Vera Meadows

Only mixed dorm arrangement.

Only mixed dorm arrangement.

"Good for the two of you!" it read in swirly handwriting, "You will either end up humping each other or beating the other one with the stick each got up their respective asses! Have fun!

Oh, and if you wanna ask why some of the arrengements are triple and others double, well, because it seemed more fun this way."

Well, that was the unusual Director A for her.

A boy and a girl in the same dorm together… This is probably going to be an experience I'll never cease to remember.

As soon as the crowd had been dismissed, Vera made her way to her brand new dorm. Out of all the other female students that were attending this school, Vera just had to be the one paired with someone of the opposite sex.

Marvellous.

Entering the room, Vera gazed around at her surroundings. Not much difference from the old one she shared with some other girls a year back, counting out the different arrangements of the furniture. As long as Vera had space she wasn't going to be complaining at all.

As soon as her new dormmate would come in, Vera would reluctantly hold her hand out and smile. A small, almost eerie looking smile.

Of course, first impressions came before actual expressions.

"You must be Xiao Long Lin Hua, correct? It's a pleasure to meet you."

Her voice was clear yet soft, and had an obvious English accent, albeit a very posh sounding one. It honestly wasn't that hard to not mistake Vera Meadows for a noblewoman.

"I do hope we get along this year."
Probably have a post up either tonight or on Friday. Hopefully ^~^
Not what I previously intended to produce, but I think this CS should be just as good.
