I am still on RPG, so do feel free to message me. Just don't have the time or energy to actually join any RP's right now. Focusing on a LOT of other projects, including getting into Audio Drama.

WE'VE GOT A MAN DOWN, MAN DOWN!!! WHERE THE FUCK IS THE MEDIC!?!?!?

Also, i'm interested in playing a version of Doom, inspired by his 2099 counterpart.
So... Does anyone want to take this up?
I'm pretty sure that the GM has left us... Anyone else wants to take up GMship of this?

Understandable. Talking to people like humans is ... human. While that's a sensitive subject, talking to a widow about her husband, it's not unprofessional, just delicate.

I didn't say it was a definite, I am in contact with one of Davids closest friends (The Set Designer for the show, Rob Gauld-Galliers, who is an absolutely brilliant man.). I did ask "Do you think she would be ok with talking about her husband for this." His reply was "I don't have her contact info, and I have not actually seen her since Davids funeral. But I do remember her being a jolly woman, I don't imagine she would bite your head off for asking, but i'm not sure she would say yes, either." I essentially took that as a "Best leave her alone." which I was actually going to post on the forum, just as I found out it was blocked... I had been tiptoing around the bastard for ages. I was on my best behavior, making sure not to say anything, because I knew he would ban me the first chance he got. I never imagined that this would be what he banned me for... I assumed I was going to slip up with my swearing at some point, and that's what would get me kicked.

As for the talking thing, he said it was unprofessional to post stuff like "I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND HIM!!! I FOUND CHRIS TULLOCH!!! (One of the head writters, who directed several episodes and was the voice of the primary antagonist, Zorran)" Which, in my defense, the Fandom hasn't talked to him since 2002, so I was really excited that I was the first person to find him in 11 years (This was back in october.) And for saying that I had "Sent Rob Gauld Galliers a "I'm on my knee's, begging forgiveness." email" Because, due to a cock up with Skype, we weren't able to connect to each other for my interview with him... Then he cut contact... But we straightened it out and we're rescheduling for March.

Anyway, If you are interested in keeping up with it, check my Deviantart page, where I am now posting all my updates: http://mattmanganon.deviantart.com/ Currently, i am waiting to hear back from the man who now owns David Mitton's old tugboat.

All that about Tugs? Wow. I mean, I don't think wanting to make a documentary is unprofessional... Granted, I don't know the entire situation.

No, he was looking for any old excuse to kick me off the forum. The actual final straw, what he claimed was "The straw that broke the camals back" Was me inquiring if the forum had ever been in contact with David Mitton's widow, as I was toying around with contacting her to talk about her late husband for it... I am not making that up or embellishing it in the slightest.

The thing he said was "Unprofessional" Was the fact that I talked to people in that forum like... Well, like I talk to you guys... Only without the swearing. I talked casually, I made terrible jokes, I talked to them like they were people.

The fact is, he's a spoiled kid, he managed to buy most of the character models that they used to film the show last year. Ergo, in his mind "I own the models = I own the fandom" The best thing is that, since nobody is entirely sure who owns the legal rights to Tugs (best guess... Disney bought a bunch of properties from HiT... One of those properties may be Tugs.) he has no legal ground to stop me. All I know is that I have the permission of one of the head writters/directors, the model makers, and the head set director, and the Executive producer. And since nobody has seen the only living producer for almost 15 years, now, I don't think I could get more permission at this time.
God dammit... Who knew so much drama existed around a show for 4 year olds...

I've been working on a documentary for an old show I used to watch as a kid, I was using the biggest forum for that show as a base to post updates and advertise. Turns out that the head of that forum has been promising a documentary for over a year, and hasn't done anything towards it. So, after a month of searching, I secured interviews with a number of people who worked on the show... So, naturally, this means that the guy who ran the forums has just been sitting around with his thumb up his ass for over a year.

Naturally, I logged in yesterday morning and found out that I had been banned from the site, and my thread about the documentary had been deleted. The mod had the balls to say "From what I have seen from your forum posts, I seriously doubt that you are professional, and I do not want you associated with my forum, or my fandom, as I do not want you spoiling our reputation among the creation team." The funniest part of this is that, someone who had been part of the forum, but left because of the mod being a dick, told me "You've proven that he's been sitting around on his ass doing nothing for the last 11 months, if I know him, as soon as it looks as though you are actually going to pull this thing off, he'll call you unprofessional, then kick you off the site."

Personally, I hoped it was just two people having a "He's a Dick" argument. But it turns out that it was well founded... It's really funny when you think about it...

Jokes on him, I never needed his help in the first place, it's just me and a guy in Texas. Who would guess that a show for 4 year olds, about Anthropomorphic boats would have such a dick running it's biggest forum?
Bump
Keeping an eye on this thread...

Huh, that happened to me too. Well, sorta. Anyways, as a word of experience, it's hard to find people who want black cats. The tuxedo one may sell, but unless they're all long-haired, you may have to accept being the owner of 3+ cats.

Yes, i know that. Personally, I have no qualms in colour, but I only want the one... Anyway, i already have a confirmed home for 1 of the babies, because he has a moustache pattern under his nose.
