It doesn't have to be a super great villain, could just be something small that could be linked to bigger later! Maybe some uppity goblins who are upset with wizards and decided to prank/take advantage of the school

Hye-Jin had looked ahead as they moved up the stairs, keeping an eye on Catalina as she listened to the girl explain where she was from. She was thinking about what she knew of caiporas when she noticed the small group ahead of them but was too late to say anything as Catalina walked into someone she quickly recognised as Lauren. Which meant it wouldn't be too much of an argument.

"Hello" Hye-Jin said to Lauren, a nod in her direction after Catalina explained and apologised again "ready for lessons? It will be harder this year and I don't think some others are ready."

She made sure to enter after the other two, keeping her neutral expression as she saw how the teacher was staring at everyone. Her eyes only narrowing slightly, and she paused to see where Catalina went first before deciding to also sit somewhere near the back. It was her favourite class but she didn't need to sit right at the front and make others look bad as she normally did.

Still getting over things, but what did you have in mind? If it's like a wand/staff so you can cast stereotypical spells, that would fit thematically just fine. Or using a shield instead maybe? Which would also be fine, since shields can be weapons.

I had been thinking of an armour piece along with a weapon, more of a piece of a clothing with abilities than full on armour but you were mentioning about number of items shows more strength so I wasn't sure if that also counted

Megan had sat down on the floor and started to paint when she heard the quiet “...thank you.” coming from the other girl. She looked up briefly to say "it's fine" and get back to the painting. The singing was acceptable, until others started joining in, and she frowned more. Whatever, if it gets this shit over with.

She looked up again after a short while to see some smoking, others chatting away and only a few actually doing anything. Her frown grew more but it wasn't her problem. At least it wasn't until one had decided to make his way over to them. She stood up and eyes narrowed stepped in as he spoke with the other girl.

"No. I don't care if the other idiots fancy turning a 6 month painting punishment into worse by slacking but if you're comin' over where I am you're bringing a paintbrush and can, sitting your ass down and painting while you're doing so because I ain't interested in getting dragged into that shit. They won't reduce your time but they sure can increase it and that includes for me and for Kassandra if we get dragged into your slacking."

She pointed back to where the pile was.

"Paintbrush. Can. Now. Then you can chat."

"If you get so lost you find dragons you left the school and walked into the forest, so try to avoid being that lost" Hye-Jin gave the girl a smile, before starting to walk towards the moving staircase to head up to the next floor. Making sure the girl was following before she continued.

"I transferred from The Fenghuang school of Witches and Wizards some years ago now, as part of a number of exchanges between the Fenghuang and Hogwarts. I am from Korea though, not China. Just Fenghuang is the closest big wizarding school to my home" she paused a moment as the stairs came to a stop in front of them before starting up them "I am Choe Hye-Jin. Although people have taken to calling me... the girl sighed "Chloe. I will not be offended if you do the same. Your accent sounds mm...what is it called again in English, South America? You come from Castle oh bruck? I do not think I'm saying that right but it is the biggest school in South America yes?"
