At first glance the dungeon didn't look like a dungeon at all. Its entrance was that of a simple cave, just like the quest description said, with nothing to show that there was anything special about it. You could see some fresh tracks going in and out of the cave, but you’re no expert so you are not sure whose tracks those are or how old are they.

Fortunately, you didn’t meet any trouble while you moved through the small forest to get to this place. It was actually pretty easy to find, with a small road leading right to the entrance, you didn’t even have to ask too many people for the way.

Once inside you walk through a corridor which visually appeared narrow but still allowed two people to walk side by side. It had a slight curve which prevented you from seeing too far ahead, but not long after your entrance did you notice a faint bluish glow in the direction you were going.

In a minute the corridor expands into an oval area. There, in the middle, stood a thin pedestal with a glowing blue orb on its top. Surrounding the pedestal were three wolves whose eyes also glowed blue. These wolves were growling as they looked at you with hostility, seemingly ready to pounce as soon as you made your move.

Everything was silent. Nothing, nada. There was no sign that anyone was alive on the other side of the door.

You wait for a few minutes before the first sound of someone approaching the door reaches you. Then you hear the voice.

“Who are you?”

By the sound of the voice, the one speaking to you was young. He tried to be threatening, but the tinge of uncertainty managed to creep its way into his words. There was a hint of fear that the owner of the voice was trying to cover up with bravado.

Regardless if he was really afraid of not, right now, the door were not opening. He was waiting for reply and it depends on your answer if he’ll let you help them or not.

While you merrily chat with each other you feel the atmosphere in the room change. The temperature fell, giving you all the chills and it seemed like the colours were seeped out from the world. In one area of the room it seemed that the space was distorting, wrapping around a single point which slowly expanded to create a black hole the size of a football. From it, a figure began to emerge.

It was completely pale- pale hair, pale skin, pale tunic, pale horns, everything, except its eyes and the stains on its clothes. Those were blood red. In its body numerous swords were stuck, as if someone tried really hard to kill this creature and didn’t care about overdoing it.

You could feel the figure’s bloodthirst rise as you came into its view, its eyes widening, filling with insane fervour. Its mouth began moving, first letting out barely audible words but quickly turning into maddened shouts.

“kill you. I’ll kill you. I’ll kill you. I’ll kill you, all of you, I’ll kill all of you, I’LL KILL ALL OF YOU I’LL KILL YOU I’LL KILL YOU I’LL KILL YOU KILL YOU KILL YOU KILL YOU”

It leapt into the air, right at Sonia and Orion.

Once you stepped on to the circle with both of your feet your vision turns white for a moment as the light wraps around you. It is surprisingly gentle and doesn’t force you to close your eyes.

When the light clears you find yourself in a spacious room whose walls were set in a trapezoid shape. The teleportation circle was set close to the largest wall, while each of the smaller ones had a square passageway. Each passageway had one of those creepy theatre masks set on top of it.

The one to your right had a mask which displayed sorrow.

The one in front had a mask which displayed no emotion. The so called “poker face”.

Lastly, the one to your left had a mask which displayed a joyful face. That one looked the creepiest.

Well, you just started and already this labyrinth is trying to mess with you. Which route do you take?

@SgtEasyIt's okay, but I get the feeling you'll have a lot of problems playing him without pissing off PCs and NPCs alike. If you don't mind that then I have no problem with it.

@Lunar I assumed you are in Langua because you wanted to take Citrouille Dungeon quest. Just look at the pictures in infodump in Char tab to see how the environment looks.

@SgtEasy To be honest, that's what I originally thought you'll do.

Which is not to say I'm against you writing down their history, but I usually have a clear vision of the RP setting, with all major nations and events so I know for certain what can and cannot happen.

Turns out that due to various reasons there will not be third location. I'm sorry for getting you guys worked up over nothing. So, @SgtEasy is still in Yazai, @Lunar and @Belwicket are still in Langua and @Raineh Daze needs to pick starting location.

@SgtEasy You are making Valentians to be too much of a pushovers. They are a kingdom with probably the strongest army, man to man. We are talking about a country which manages to successfully wage war to contain the advancement of Celestial Kingdom that has 4 times its population, crusade to reclaim old imperial capital from the undead and continuously put pressure on Langua and some other kingdoms through border skirmishes and privateering.

When I suggest "behind enemy lines" scenario for Leon I was talking about being something like historical Uskoks or Cossacks, not an army which almost managed to take Valentian capital, even if it was a suicidal rush.
