Maggie smiled and said "yes you may, my dear prince Atem" she put her hands in his and let him lead, smiling softly at him. Yugi and tea smiled as they saw the pair and Mai said " well yami looks pretty right there. Don't you think so Joey?" She knew he could hear her thru the coms.

Adam was working on the laptop with Bakura watching when she said "hold on a sec.....this isn't right. Bakura, Come make sure I'm reading this right." He pointed at the screen which was showing the duelist list. A few of the names would look familiar to the white haired duelist, names that shouldn't be there.

Avery was pacing in the control room, Whix talking to her. "He seems to be an alright guy...not like the guys you dealt with in the war..." Avery pulled out the container with the worm and said "My feelings don't matter, Whix. I just have to get the job done and..." Suddenly the container cracked and Ave said "Whix! The containment unit!" Whix cursed and said "It got too much energy from the Time Lord, its mutating" The worm burst out and hissed, now a bright yellow and sick green color. She threw the case from her and tried to get to her blaster but the worm was faster, jumping up and biting her in the neck. She cried out, hitting the floor and fighting to get the thing off of her. Her eyes glowed again and she grabbed the worm with her glowing hand. the worm screamed and exploded, guts all over the floor. Avery panted, not feeling right as the room spun and warped around her. "Whix...I think...I'm in trouble..." She hit the floor again, her back to the stairs

Drake moved back and glared at him. "Only this once...I don't plan on letting you stay with her long...getting her killed once in a life time is enough...don't you think?" He walked away and Maggie grabbed Yami's hand. "Is Seto going to be able to keep his cool? I didn't want Drake to see him getting to him"

Avery sighed and went upstairs, not looking for to the next few days. She went to the control room and leaned against the controls, sighing. "You can do this, Ave...a few days, figure out who wants him dead and get it taken care of...then back to my life without timelords..."

She pulled his arm around her shoulders and went over to the box, opening the door and taking them both inside. She helped him to what she believed was his room and helped him lay down. She leaned against the wall and said "Get some sleep...I will make sure nothing goes wrong. I'll be upstairs if you need me" She started to leave, already feeling her strength drop. She hadn't healed like that in a long time, and it was taxing.

Mokuba took Seto's hand and said "Please, brother, don't let him get to you...his not worth it" Then Maggie walked by them and went straight to Drake who smiled at her. "My lady, may I have this dance?" She nodded and said "Of course..." He took her hand and lead her to the dance floor, her eyes cold as he smiled at her again. She said "What are you doing here, drake? Or should I call you John?" Drake nodded and said "The name was a little twisted...but it was the masters idea" Maggie put her mouth to his ear and said "You go near Yami again, and you will wish I had banished you that first time we dueled" Drake nodded nad said "I do as my masters ask...but I won't let him get you killed again"

She helped him up and said "You can do whatever you want...with who is after you, don't know yet. Where is your ship? I'll get you there and keep an eye on things" The glowing had faded and she was frowning again. She didn't want to have to stick with this Time Lord but it was her duty.

The High priest said "Lady Lily is needed right now. She is the only maiden I have today. And to your other requests, of course. You are free to roam where you need to. But Lady Lily must come with me now" Lily looked at Garoth and said "It will not take long. I shall come back.." She headed up the steps and went inside with the high priest. They went into the alter room and Lily saw nothing was set up for the mid day ceremony. She turned and saw the high priest shut the door. He smiled darkly and said "I wish you had not known those things, Little Lily...I was going to save you for last...." Lily fell to her backside, trying to get away from the high priest who was turning into a monster before her eyes. She couldn't scream. Not a sound as fear gripped her very heart. The spider demon hissed and Lily cried softly. "Lady Shade..." The demon jumped at her but the mark appeared on her forehead and the shadows jumped out and grabbed her, causing her to vanish.

The demon screamed in anger and the door burst open, Lady Shade standing there with her cloak over her head. She smiled and said "Hello monster..." she tossed the cloak off and shifted, taking her wolf spirit form. The demon hissed at her and tackled her, both of them landing in the courtyard. The other priests and priestess screamed and tried to get way, the shadows around them shielding them from the attacks from the two beings fighting. The spider demon hissed at the wolf and said "What are you?! Where is your brand!?" The wolf laughed and opened her mouth, black and silver energy bursting out and hitting close to the demon. "I am not labeled, demon...but soon you won't be when I'm done with you..." The spider hissed and shot stingers out, hitting the wolf in her back. She jumped back, feeling the poison running thru her but she barked at the demon. He laughed and said "Soon you will be dead anyway, spirit!" She chuckled and said "Your not that smart are you? I don't need to kill you...the guild guy here will finish you..."
