<Snipped quote by Memory>

Yes, the outcome we wanted is what we got. Took longer than expected with your time traveling friend. Though what also ended up is individuals who got a taste of power that they never dreamed of. Which mean my men are going to have more work to do and more chances for spotty loyalties.
*grabs another book*
Though I have something that will prevent that.

With knowledge that the alternative was eons of bloodshed, I could afford to be patient. What solution do you propose?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

If you are attempting to fluster me, then you have succeeded. Nonetheless… It makes me happy to hear you say that. Though, and I doubt that your sons will hear this, they will not be happy to hear that and also find themselves at a loss.
*smiles slightly*
I am currently writing a library worth of reports that timelines mine and my men’s efforts during the chaos. I feel that it will add nicely within our archives and give you a nice read for a long while.
*sighs*

Adding to my constantly-growing backlog, of course. Are you satisfied with the outcome of your efforts?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Of course, come with the territory of having new recruits more frequently than our own.
*looks at you*
Your sons appear to be standing strong as well. Have you thought about Luke’s relationship with the child of Sreig?

My son is free to forge alliances as he sees fit, even in his schemes to track Chance across Existence. Whether they succeed for him or fail.
*Smiles in half-amusement as I retrieve a book from the shelf*
I’m more invested in your efforts. After all, you’ve always been my favorite child.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Not any at the moment, but my diligence with the matter is high. We cannot afford any mutiny within our own ranks to maintain control.
*looks at you*
I will say our powerhouses are great deterrents for that as well, their loyalty is second to none.

*Chuckles*
And yours spotty at best, as usual?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

New arrivals are an indicator of change, but I agree. As for some of our longtime enemies, they are watched closely, enough where most of their movement and actions are slowed. It helps when they do not know that they have been infiltrated for a long time.

*Nods*
And I presume there continues to be no indication of compromise among our own?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

There are some that I have eliminated myself as the chaos of the Balkan System allowed for an opportunistic approach. As for some of the others, they are being monitored. A new problem has arose being the Amaranthine, a infectious hive-like force that derives from an unknown location. I believe you have made contact with an individual that is a source of the problem.

New arrivals are less of a concern than ancient players on the board. No gain in becoming too eager.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Already building an extensive profile involving her.
*looking at you*
Understandable.

What have you observed regarding our long-standing enemies? Has any significant status changed?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Of course, I will.
*flips the last page*
I don’t know if you’ve kept up with Gajeel’s wife, but she has become extremely successful with her magic. If you were to consider contractor status I recommend doing it with her. Her obsession with her magical studies and skills keeps her busy, though that is a wise decision.
*leans back, after closing the book*
Gajeel and Levy’s daughter… I would like to see her among our ranks, though she does not seem interested. As expected.

We wouldn’t be at a loss of magic specialists without her. Perhaps her involvement could be limited to consultation...
*Closes my eyes, thinking it through*
Collect data on her research, projects, and skillset overlap with other Tier Fives. As it stands, I have no inclination to employ their daughter in any capacity.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

That trouble was mine as well, I had to clean up their mess.
*sighs*
I ask you read over these files on them, at least. I know you will be able to see why I chose these two for them. Though, if you do not want to continue just yet, let me know and I will deal with them.
*looks back at the book I am reading*
Your niece seems to stay busy with trouble even without being apart of Tier Five.

*Opens the files and flips through the details*
Calling her family may be too generous. If her trouble would ripple up to Gajeel and Levy, you’ll need to intervene. I had considered contractor status for one of them, but instead chose to prepare for their daughter to become a distraction.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

And enemies there are,
*taps on the folders*
There are two heads and their lieutenants of opposing factions that have potential to disrupt our control. These could be great opportunities to have Grace and Gajeel pair up and better utilize their skills and abilities. After that first attempt, I realized that they need more time to work together and synergize. They are both an unstoppable force and immovable object.

Who can hardly stand each other.
*Rests my face on my fist*
Do you know the trouble those two have caused me? Opportunities to work out their disagreements would be useful if they can prove to cooperate.
