That would work, sure.
Okie doke.
*Makes the incision*
Now I attach the seed there?
<Snipped quote by Memory>
That would work, sure.

The same reasons why a blockage of any kind is bad, really. You could probably get away with the base, but I would advise against the brain proper just in case.
<Snipped quote by Memory>
This type is about fifteen meters.
*Double checks that it's correct, then grows the skin over it*
Good job, as usual. I'll let you pick where the core goes, too. Try to pick somewhere it won't be too annoying if she feels it. Sometimes these can cause itching. Then it's just a matter of implanting it like you would a health aide.
<Snipped quote by Memory>
Not in its current state. If it were at its full capacity, then the transfer could give it a small window, but as it is? It won't be able to.

First thing is to move the soul into the body, without waking it up. The way to do that is to make a temporary soul-trap on the body, then when we're ready for it to move, we break the one it's in and it'll be forced into the body. The soul will adapt to the body, especially since it's so similar to its old one, as we do the rest.
So take a scalpel and copy the soul-trap onto the muscles on the top of the head. Then I'll close the skin over it once that's done.

*Once it beeps that it's finished, I look over at it and finish growing the brain, making sure to match the old one in structure. Then I attach an IV to her new body's veins that start filling them with the pre-made blood*
Last steps are to get the soul inside it, implant the core, and start the bodily functions. I imagine you want to do either or both of the first two?
<Snipped quote by Memory>
*Takes some of the flesh from the machine and places it on the new body, then forces it to grow until the whole body is fully covered in skin properly, except for the top of the skull*
Hmm... Alright, then we'll recreate it. Can you use the scanner to collect its structure data?
*Slowly begins growing a new brain on the end of the spinal cord, waiting for the structure data to find out how to grow it*
<Snipped quote by Memory>
*As you finish with the scalpel, the blue glow on the materials slides inwards to the metal square I'd placed, fading into it. After a moment, a small crystal appears, laying on top of it*
Good job, you did perfectly. Now, while we wait for it to charge, I'll get the skin layer put on. Will you check the old brain's status? If it's salvageable, we'll implant it, but if not we can recreate it.

A little bit of damage to me, since I'm projecting the field. It'd hurt a bit, but nothing lasting.
<Snipped quote by Memory>
Too late and it'll fail, needing to be started over. Too early, and there'll be some level of backlash. There's a little bit of a grace period before and after, but two and a half seconds is ideal.
