<Snipped quote by Memory>

*blinks then shakes my head*
...and do you known the purpose of that life pattern?

*Raises my eyebrows*
What does that mean?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Oh, and they hover or they just jump a lot?

They jump a ton! At night they burrow into the mud.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Like, they fly?

They jump. They're very strong.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Where do they live?

Some of my favorites live above oceans and large lakes. Some of them drop prey into the lake, and others onto the ground to eat their entrails.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

*follows slowly behind you*
It would be, but dangerous too. A lot of the predators in my world are opportunistic and will kill the chance they get.

It's mostly the same on this world. Any predators we do have don't live here. You can ride this one though.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Yes, and they are not so quiet as this creature too.

*Walks up and pats the leg of the beast*
I wish we had more predators here. Those would be much more 'nteresting to watch.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

The closest thing I can think of are Rhinoceros. but they aren't anywhere near in the likeness of the amount of horns.

So it's like these but with only a few?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

Hard to believe that with that display they have.

Do you have anything like them where you're from? What kind of creatures do you have?
<Snipped quote by Memory>

*Notices that it doesn't leave any footprints and looks at it in awe*
What is this thing?

It's a ceracel. There aren't a lot of them, but they have no natural predators.
<Snipped quote by Memory>

*My head drops a bit from the landing*
That's nice to hear...
*relaxes a bit and sits down slowly*

*A large, lumbering red beast multiple times my size with a head jutting with countless spiked horns stomps along, rumbling the ground with each footstep but not leaving any visible footprints, and leans in to eat from the feeder*
It's harmless.
