The Realmatic conversions are relatively simple. The melting point of the metal poles, which are stationed all over the city, is changed and the metal is instantly converted. Levitation, which I assume Kelly knows how to do, and which you can do, since you have Tri-Rune capabilities, catches up the liquid and assembles it into the sheet which is then converted back into a solid. The fabric has to actually be given properties of a fluid rather than just melted, while the metal can be melted or also given properties of a fluid, and it's just a matter of more levitation.
