Yes, exactly. A shield. I remember that day thinking over and over again "Why me? Why in the world would Tier Five want me, a mere guardian angel?" It was like it just kept assaulting the back of my mind. But after struggling back and forth, I found an oasis of peace—I thought "If Tier Five wants me to be its guardian angel, then I'm going to be the best guardian angel I can be and protect this group." And then that day came. And I'll never forget his words. "Welcome to T-Tier Five... Grace."
*Puts my hand to my face*

Of course! I'm a guardian angel from the lower order of Heaven, and I was the first being of my universe to leave our dimension. I was never very strong, and I made some poor choices that resulted in me losing one of my wings to a poacher. To make a long story short, I grew over time and learned what it meant to be strong in Existence. But even with that, I felt empty and broken. I realized one day that I was stronger than... anyone from my dimension, but that wrestles with my nature. I can't be greater than my creator.
*Looks up*
But one day The Legend, The Hero at the time, found me; it's guesswork, but I imagine it was because of my ability to create barriers. He explained to me who he was, what Tier Five was, what its mission meant to Existence, and who First was. "This First, he's at the top of the top. Surely he must be God." So I spoke with First, and First was not God. But they explained to me that even though they didn't have every answer, Tier Five would put me in a place where I could find them. It would give me a place to serve while learning exactly what kind of faith I really am supposed to have. And, well, here I am.
