Alucard: that is good to hear. Unfortunately here, that doesnt seem to be the case. Shortly before I arrived the base was under attack yet again. Something called the Amaranthine. I was told that Mierno fought to hold them off, but was fighting a loosing battle. It doesnt seem there were any casualties, though. Most likely the battle was a show of power.
Oh, the amaranthings? Seems easy enough to deal with.
