Yeah, at least it wasn't stubborn enough to follow in dropping 70 bounds in about a month because hers refused to eat anything. Luckily she's getting better ^^
Oh wow! Yes, I can totally understand that as well- when my grandfather was diagnosed with cancer this December all of us kind have been feeling very ill and not eating, we probably all lost weight whilst he's doing his chemo. I hope your mom heals, and that you can be safe and healthy too my friend!
Haha. :c If only my sicknesses were something I can get over~ I very rarely get sicky like colds/flus and stuff- so that is good! Haha thankyou for the post encouragement :D yes- a little admirer, why not!? It's funny because they are quite total opposites xD
You too eh? I was planning to dance this morning. I woke up feeling horrible. 4 hours later I'm still in bed Being sick sucks right sick buddy? XD
All the yessss. Somedays I will wake up and be like "I'm going to accomplish so much today!" & Then I sit there and am like, "If I don't lay down right now I am going to cry" It stinks. Today I am feeling really good though :) So I am gonna count my blessings for that. Plus I got to get a good post in, so that always makes me feel somewhat accomplished xD
Both the boy and Dani had seemed amused by Pearleane's answer to Dani's original question, which made Pearl giddy. Pearleane didn't like being the center of attention, but when she happened to be in that position- she gleamed. Bonus points if she could make a person smile or laugh while doing so. "I heard the feasts here are to die for!" The other patron in their cart exclaimed happily. Pearleane nodded with great enthusiasm, she too was excited for the huge feasts. She adored eating food. ADORED. She prided herself on trying anything that was offered to her that could be eaten, even trying a jelly slug once. "I'm Peter by the way!" the boy commented "Peter Dobson." Pearleane would try to remember that. Peter and Dani. Pearleane offered Peter a jelly bean once Dani had taken hers. Pearleane looked towards Dani after the boy had answered, waiting for the next question. In light of the girl's condition Pearleane thought of it as almost a game. One could suppose it was a mix of her being naive and also trying to make the girl fit in as much as possible. She genuinely liked her, though she didn't know much about her. That's just how Pearleane was- diving into friendships without fear. “I’m excited to learn as well. I’m new to this whole thing. By the way, what was that… thing I ate?” Is what appeared on the white board as Dani flipped it over. Pearl's dark almond eyes scanned it, reading it, "That's okay. I'm brand new too, hopefully we can all help one another." she commented, looking between Dani and Peter with a reassuring smile. "And that thing you ate was a Bertie Botts every flavor bean!" Pearleane exclaimed her hands throwing up into the air as she was very excited about the subject. Perhaps too excited, as a few of the beans flew out into the cart and onto the floor. "Aww man.." Pearleane groaned, picking them up and putting them back into the box. Those ones would have extra flavor. "What flavor did you two get?" Pearleane asked to the two of them. She hadn't tried one yet, and was curious to see what the other two had gotten before she tried her hand at one. Before the two could muster out anything the door swung open and a few older kids stood there in the door. "Alright neeeeewbs. Move along." they said, "We always use the first two compartments. We'll forgive you for not knowing if you'll take your educated selves elsewhere." Pearleane looked unimpressed. Her mother, and the young boy who had helped her put her luggage on the train both said she could sit ANYWHERE she wanted to. "Hey, I don't think so!" Pearleane spoke up for Dani and Peter as her hand rolled into a fist and placed on her hip. "We can sit anywhere we want, maybe we'll forgive YOU for being rude!" she chirped, looking at the towering teens. She was most likely making a terrible mistake.

Minor gripe: profile URLs no longer contain our user ID? Damn you, Mahz. How am I supposed to boast about being the 14th registered user now? Minor suggestion: make the notification counter (not the bell icon itself) a different colour. Something brighter. Blue, perhaps? yes i'm taking a page from facebook's design ethos, sue me
Gold or red would look better, IMHO.
Agreed. The gold that is used on other things on the site would look GREAT!
"I'd be happy to be a group. Um. My son, do I have to purchase a ticket for him? I'm more then happy to, but I haven't been to the carnival since I was a kid, and don't know the entry fees." The young mother spoke, and Reyna let out a sigh of relief. At least her and the very tall man seemed to be okay with her forming a group together. "Oh no! Not at all. The tickets pretty much get you everything, and as long as you buy them that pretty much equals any entrance fee they could have." she nodded, looking toward the cute young boy, a knot getting into her throat as she looked away quickly. “Yeah, I don't mind. No point in going to a carnival by yourself anyway.” the other boy spoke, confirming that most of the group that had been left on the bus were okay with her idea. She nodded, happily. "Agreed." This was quite the motley crew, but they all seemed like genuinely nice people- something that was very rare to come about these days. Reyna watched the young boy who introduced himself as Jackson and Aaron talk to one another before Aaron announced, “I think I know someone who'd like to play the fishy game.” Reyna nodded in agreement, she knew the fishy game very well, and always had been mystified by the game until she was older and could understand just what was going on behind the scenes. Magnets and simply magnets. The group began to move, and the quiet hooded person tagged along quickly behind. "I'm Rei," they said as the group walked over to the fishing game, "Current preferred pronoun being he, though they is acceptable in all circumstances." they added quietly, and Reyna's eyes widened slightly. She had seen Rei multiple times at school and never thought of that before. It was something she was unfamiliar with, and a bit surprised by- but she never would think poorly of someone over it. "I love your hair." Reyna commented quiet enough just to Rei, as she gave a friendly smile, before turning back to face forward as they reached the carnival stand. Reyna watched as the group took their hand at the fishing game, the tall pale boy even winning a large prize. "Wow!" she clapped, applauding. She probably wouldn't have even thought to play this game if she had tagged along with the other girls from church, but with this group it seemed that they were just here to have fun, and not that concerned with what others would think of them. The boy handed the large prize to Jackson and Reyna nodded, but wanted to turn her attention to the game now instead. Reyna took her turn and managed two blue fish. She didn't want to carry a large stuffed animal around, and she admitted she would be slightly embarrassed doing so. Winning she picked a small green turtle, small enough to fit into the pocket of her jeans. She admired her prize for a while before she witnessed the huge splat of ketchup slapped against the white coat of the tall boy at the stand a few steps down. Disgusted, turned to stare at the source from which it came. It was of course Quentin and his gang from earlier. The assholes. "Hey! Finally got some color there Ghostboy!" they called, and before Reyna could even begin to think of a comeback the tall boy spoke with grace, "....Didn't your mother ever tell you not to waste good food? Or are you just too immature to even know better? I feel so sorry for parents, if they weren't as much of illiterate fools. You just hit my coat as well, not actually me. Guess your the poorest player in football." Reyna's mouth hung open in both awe and admiration. This guy was her hero. She watched as one of the boys came to fight, and was easily defeated by his own two feet. Landing in his proper home; a trash can. Reyna hadn't caught what the boy had said to the trash before returning back to the group but assumed it was deliciously brilliant. Reyna grinned as the boy returned, probably a tad on the creepy side. He probably hadn't seen that she had been watching the whole time- as the rest of the group had been focused on the game still.
