Glancing over her shoulder, Toni noticed their call had ending abruptly with no parting words. Her dark almond eyes darted up the clock, knowing her shift would be ending here quite soon. Gathering up the last of the spewed about plates, cups, and most important the dollar bills left as tips. "You gonna give me a ride or you gonna make me take the bus?" Toni commented to Zeke as she plopped the tray of items next to the sink for the next worker to take care of. Removing her apron, she shoved it into her small cubby hole that her name written on it in big bold letters. She removed her bright red purse from the same cubby hole and strewn it over her head and positioned it across her body.

Not really waiting for an answer, Toni walked out of the diner and stood patiently next to Zeke's car. She knew that his answer would involve him driving her back to the base with him regardless.

Hey Theo, is your character going to be the matriarch type character for the Blackwood family? I've been struggling with a character cause i'm not sure how the family tree looks; Like if I want my character to be the daughter of the head of household or sibling, etc.

Ah, yes. I've been around the site pre fall and post fall long enough to know that it will most likely go down to only a few people after the first week or so. I just personally thought it would be better to have some kind of even-ness to the families so that one person isn't having to control all the actions of said family or worse yet; not having anyone to interact with. Just my two cents though; can be disregarded immediately.

"If I don't get my way, there will be hell to pay!"

Octavia is the younger sister of Octavius Blackwood, the former and now deceased head of the Blackwood family. She was raised to believe that hybrids are beautiful and can be just as well cultured and civilized as any other race. Their parents were a mix of human and vampire.

Octavia led a very polished life, not too concerned with the inner workings of the family businesses and just enjoying the money it earned. It wasn't until she was 16 and began working at the bars as a waitress that she ended up having a one night stand with another hybrid mix of werewolf and vampire. This event produced her only son Aries.

When Octavius told her that he was adopting Theta to take the lead in the family, Octavia couldn't help but feel very bitter. Granted, she had no interest in taking control in the family but she wished the offer had been presented to her before such big decisions had been made. In time Octavia came to love and care about Theta as her niece and family, but a part of her will always be a bit jealous that her and her son were not considered.

Now that Aries is old enough to do his own things within the family business, Octavia encourages him to do his best, and often goes out of her way in extravagant measures to make sure he is succeeding. Though the death of her brother was devastating to the community she has kind of ignored the chaos around her and is focusing on things within the four walls of their estate. Due to her unreliability she doesn't work directly at any of the businesses but takes care of the household rather it be cleaning, cooking, or taking care of the children that join the family.

Can I make a suggestion since there is such a large group of us?

Perhaps make it so that the families are pretty even-
There is give or take about 14 of us interested.

Can we say 5 max for each family name?

Agreeing with both Jericho and Katherin, the trio walked their way inside the gym for the beginning of the school year orientation. Brionna placed her hand softly on Katherin's removing it from her shoulder and bringing it out and around her so she could help Katherin sit down in one of the many folded chairs that were available. "I'm sorry again for my outburst." she mentioned to the two of them, "I tend to lose my temper quickly." she admitted, taking her own seat in the auditorium. It was amazing how many students were present, both young and old. Hopefully they were all eager to learn as she was.

Perhaps it's a good idea to mention all the people that were in the roleplay and see if they are still participating or not. I'll post here again in the IC soon.

Some have older siblings that might hang out previous, some have single parents or uncles that might be seeing other parents *COUGH* *COUGH* *COUGH* I also think depending on what their hero archetype might be that it would make send they'd have hang out before hand.
