Her mouth gets her in trouble more often than not, and she is the one to start swinging first in a fight. If she doesn't like you, she will let you know right to your face. First impressions definitely aren't Bailey's strong point.

Bailey enjoys the rush of partying late at night with her friends and strangers alike. She drinks, smokes, and has experimented with a few drugs- though she didn't really like the outcome of them so hasn't done any recently. She loves swimming, and can often be found at the various lakes and swimming pools spread out around town- her bathing suit practically part of her daily attire. She doesn't like to talk about it, but she has interest in musicals and actually wants to go to college for the arts when she graduates high school next year.

▾ Biography:

Born and raised in the deep south to Baker and Gloria Sinclaire, Bailey was brought up as an only child. She was destined to be a sweet southern belle but all of that training really went out the window the moment she turned thirteen. The family still however attends church every Sunday, arriving early and staying late. Her parents both work at the high school: her father as a janitor and her mother as a secretary in the main office. You'd think this would motivate Bailey to do well in school, but the only thing it really did was make it more accessible to get hall passes and excuses to leave class.

Besides school, Bailey spends most of her time wrapped up in her social life with her friends. Though the group is filled to the brim with the trouble makers of the town, you can tell they really care about one another and have been extremely loyal to one another during the hard times too. Summer time was sure to bring a whole lot of trouble and fun to them all. If she isn't grounded for most of it.

There's a rather bad scar on her right arm that never healed properly and she didn't bother going to the hospital. It's a cut, deep at the time, that has since left a discolored scar. It doesn't hurt, but it's a reason why she often wears long sleeves.

On her right shoulder blade is a tattoo of the initials 'H.H.' Of course she regrets it but can't bring herself to get it removed.

▾ Personality:

Hester is not someone that likes to dodge questions or make up excuses, which is probably why she's never the one to speak to the press whenever there's a newsworthy incident. But her honest approach to the facts at hand, and her belief that lying to the citizens is just going to make them less trusting of the proper authorities, has at least garnered trust between her and the population in Dixie Inn. Not everyone agrees with her approach to police work, often catching the ire of her fellow officers because she's not one to flub a report or embellish a detail, but few can deny that she's got a fair track record of getting her job done. Granted until recently her job mainly consisted of giving lectures to students about drugs or responding to domestic disturbances or parties with the volume too loud, but she's still damn dependable.

Hester doesn't subscribe to the theory that every crime gets solved and sees no reason to say otherwise. Her life with the force has left her rather jaded where before she used to be the idealistic young sort who believed in justice above all.

Outside of the uniform, Hester is something of a romantic; she may not be the idealist when it comes to police work but she still is quite the hopeless idealist romantic, often being spotted at singles bars and events or filing out her dating website profiles at the library or wherever there is wifi and a corner table. She likes to keep a friendly rapport with the community even if only so she can be the one to deliver the bad news to them. Trust is hard to come by and even harder to keep, but Hester believes she has it with most people that know her from the uniform.

Hester is always the one giving the anti drug lectures at the schools simply because she seems to know how to speak to the youth. Which is to say that she treats them not like she's a strict parent but a peer. Kids don't like to be talked down to any more than adults do. That and her frequent references. Rare does a day go by when Hester doesn't reference something from her own youth. It's far less endearing than she believes.

▾ Hobbies & Interests:

Hester's first real passion in life was cooking. There was a time before a criminal justice degree and the police academy where Hester thought she might open a nice cajun restaurant in town. But things so rarely work out the way you want them to. She still enjoys cooking as she finds it relaxing to prepare a nice seafood gumbo or some boudin balls. Whenever there's a fund raiser or local event involving the police, chances are one will find Hester on the grill. On some weekends she enjoys fishing, but only catch and release; she does like fresh ingredients but not to that extent. Fishing is more of a way to unwind from the stress of her job when simply cooking can't get it done. Her grandfather was an accomplished fisherman and the two of them bonded over it as her father found fishing to be the most boring activity possible other than playing checkers.

▾ Biography:

Hester, named after the main character in her mother's favorite book, grew up not in Dixie Inn but in Baton Rouge where her father worked for the Baton Rouge Water Company and her mother was a tour guide for Louisiana Art and Science Museum. She was the first child of two in the Benoit family but after her younger brother died in a rather tragic accident when Hester was in high school, it was obvious that the family never quite recovered. Hester was certain that the only reason her parents didn't split up after the accident was because neither of them even wanted to entertain the idea of starting over again.

Hester would like to say that her brother's death was the reason she started turning to law enforcement but that wouldn't be the case, really. She doesn't quite know why, especially given that her number one career choice as a younger girl was opening a restaurant. One day she just woke up and decided to pursue law, even going for a criminal justice degree in college.

She became an officer with the Baton Rouge Police Department but was transferred to Dixie Inn just a few years after getting her uniform. Her transfer gave way to a promotion, and Officer Hester Benoit became Detective Hester Benoit, which she was proud to accept given that the day to day on her beat was rather uneventful. Some might have considered that a good thing, but Hester didn't feel as if she was getting her full potential with just responding to noise complaints.

Hester's first goal in Dixie Inn was to get on the good side of the citizens. She figured people might not warm up to a bigger city person mingling with the small town vibe, but she seems to have been accepted for the most part; there are always those who dislike the police, but Hester does what she can to sway opinion.

Raised by people pleasers, Eve has plenty of community service on her belt. Her mother was big on helping the Church out, constantly taking her daughter along for the ride to assist at soup kitchens or have Eve donate all her unused clothes to the poor. This kind of upbringing has given Eve an unbelievable awareness of other people. Don't get her started with the religious gossipers. There seemed to be more gossip in church than anywhere else.

A tad bit odd ever since she was little, Eve has the tendency to be extremely sporadic, happy-go-lucky, and can be easily distracted by other people's businesses. Her mom raised her to be a traditional lady but her peers have influenced her to be more on the daring and wild side. She never backs down from a challenge or a dare. One can say she may be easily swayed if she likes you (and it's not that hard to get Eve to like you, since she'd like to believe there's good in even the worst of people). Her mom has this innocent angel image of her, hoping that Eve will become head of the church choir one day because of her singing talents.

To be honest, Eve just wants to have fun and skateboard around town, maybe catching the big media news before anyone else does. Her father would like to think she's destined to become a journalist one day due to her curiosity and constant questioning but for the time being, he tries his best to keep his stubborn daughter grounded-- if that's even possible. With reckless abandon, she will do whatever it takes to make everlasting memories, while possibly helping the police with her own findings! MAYBE SHE'LL BE A DETECTIVE ONE DAY.

▾ Hobbies & Interests:

Most of her childhood was filled with the Lord and Youth Ministry, even so, Eve has grown to love skateboarding, always trying to advance in cool tricks. Her natural singing voice would probably get her far but she can only see herself singing sweet lullabies to her future children rather than getting famous off it. Plus, she prefers writing her thoughts and discoveries down in her small notebook that she keeps in her traveling backpack. One thing she finds extremely exciting is sneaking out at night. Her brother always has her back when she goes on escapades, covering for her if things get too "close". So far, she hasn't gotten caught or at least, her parents haven't addressed the matter to her yet. As long as she keeps her studies up, they should be happy, right? Eve adores when her friends smile and laugh and if she can add to their happiness, the better it makes her feel! They are her life and she would walk miles for them. That's not even a joke. If one of them were to go missing, she would pull all nighters just to find them. Although she has never been in a fight, she would like to think if the time came, she would stand up for what she believes in and fight until she can't anymore. Eve is lover, but also a fighter. Her heart cares, perhaps too much, and her spirit is loud and feisty! Hear her roar!

▾ Biography:

Born the day after Valentine's, Evelyn might have not seen daylight if it wasn't for the doctor who went through all the trouble to start her heart back up again. A miracle baby her mother, Irene, would say. From that day on, her mother focused on Jesus, thanking him for saving her baby girl. With Caucasian and Mexican decent, Evelyn now stands at 5'1, weighs 107 pounds, and her bra size is 32 B-- for those who care. Her childhood consisted of constantly being surrounded by people, may it be for church choir, Youth Ministry, community service, or watching her father, Michael, talk to high school students during parent/teacher meetings. Michael Belrose is a Caucasian English/Literature professor at the only public highschool in Dixie Inn. Most adults would comment on how cute Eve and her little brother, (name), was. Not being completely ignorant, Eve caught on immediately that her mother liked the praise of being recognized as a good parent and Samaritan, and her father loved to boast about his children's achievements.

Along with working at a homeless shelter, Irene spent a lot of time in her arts & craft room making baskets and other knick knacks, selling her work to her local community. Most of the time, Irene would drag her daughter along wherever she went and made her do whatever she did, attempting to create a better version of herself. With a strict father, who always wanted his children to excel in their academics, and a possessive mother, who cared far too much about how people saw the family, Eve mentally cracked and decided to do things behind their backs, like sneaking out the house. This started around the age eleven.

For example, rather than go to school choir, Eve hung out with the boys and had them teach her how to skateboard, soon finding out that she absolutely loved it. It was hard to skip out on Church choir since her mother was usually there. Of course, Evelyn didn't want to be a disappointment to her father, and still doesn't, so she keeps up her studies for the sake of satisfying him, while hiding the fact that she goes on frequent misadventures with her friends.

When she was fourteen, Eve fell hard for this motorcycle enthusiast and rebel without a cause. A couple of years older than her, he chose to be a loner and poison his lungs with cigarettes. What she found most appealing about him was... the bad boy attitude. Who doesn't like a bad boy when they're a teen!? Things got heated pretty fast, but before she made the dumbest mistake of her life and gave him everything, Eve discovered that she was his "side-bitch". Heartbroken, but relieved she didn't give into her hormones, she broke ties with him and cried to her little brother until she fell asleep.

Evelyn isn't one to talk about her problems to many people, but with her little brother, she feels like he would love her no matter how stupid she can be. Although she gets extremely lonely and hides it behind a smile, Eve worries about getting in another relationship. She knows if the time came... her impulsive heart would jump the gun and do it anyways. Yet, that doesn't change the fact that she's terrified of being left weak and vulnerable again.

Now, she balances her life with hanging out with her friends, church and school choir, mother's bidding, taking care of her brother, and getting good grades (she's B average). A lot of times, she pulls all nighters just to accomplish all her homework (because she chose to go out with friends instead). Math is the bane of her existence and will surely kill her one day. She recently discovered that she may be into girls as well as guys... Eve doesn't know how she should feel about this revelation. Her mother would surely kill her.

David Levitski is a man who believes that the world is unequivocally shit; that people are born inherently bad and that the people who try to look for the good in others are naïve children dancing around with a delusional imagination. It is because of that fundamental viewpoint that David’s views are entirely centered upon and anybody with an opposing view he naturally presumes is an idiot— a fact that has come up often in his long-tested career as a police detective to varying results and consequences. David is honest, albeit abrasive and crass, but honest— a fact that can seem a bit confrontational, antagonistic, and needlessly offensive. Sometimes he doesn’t know the difference between the hard truth and just being a jerk, but given his attitude he might actually know that he’s being judgmental and offensive; he just might not care.

David is also generally prone to excessive notions of violence, condescension, and wildly vitriolic sarcastic remarks. It is with this anger that it is shown that David is avid in his dedication, resilience, and tenacity— so much it goes to a level of ruthlessness. He is the guy who gets the job done with results even if the path to the finishing line is littered with broken windows and burnt down sheds; his diligence is admirable, his preference towards being brutal and ruthless are not. But for some reason David’s never been outed as corrupt or out of his bounds. IAA has investigated him several times in the past fifteen years with not even a suspension to David’s name for just that reason.

Whilst his aforementioned traits are generally despicable and unpleasing, there is a man underneath David that longs for peace and order. He values people who are hard workers and get to the point, and tends not to condescend actual children. Also, as far as those new to him know, he has a charming outer shell that appears to be a kind middle-aged man despite his inner chaos and “true self”. He may not value the world as it should be, but he will never succumb to deception of lies or betrayal of those he considers valuable as allies. He’s got some duality to him, for sure.

David has a few hobbies that he indulges in with his time off, but most of all of them that he is involved with is his locksmithing. The old cop collects old lockpicking sets and tends to enjoy cracking locks in his spare time; a strange hobby for a cop, for sure. He comments that it “keeps his hands busy” among other things. Elsewise, David is pretty simple— he likes books that tend to be crime pulp novels, older films, he plays acoustic guitar (and has since he was a kid), and occasionally coaches baseball to involve himself in the community beyond his role as a police detective.

Wait, what? Truth be told, David was not a “by-the-book” detective in his early career years and in fact was kind of a “thug with a badge” detective in his past where he was known to use intimidation and physical assault in many situations to get what he wanted. If the situation needed this arsonist to have a three broken fingers to get some information then David would break four. Despite this sense of ruthlessness, David is good at his job as his skills make obvious. It is presumed that his old age and change of scenery has mellowed him some, but there's always something can make a man snap.

▾ Biography:

A man as long-lived as David Levitski could publish a novel of his escapades and life experiences alone. This of course is something David Levitski would rather not occur as he would rather not be judged by his new neighbors for what he achieved throughout his childhood and adulthood. Born to a Polish immigrant following the Second World War named Waclaw Levitski in 1963, David would be the eldest of several siblings raised in a lower income class household that had much conflict inside and out. His father was an abhorrent and abusive alcoholic who struggled from one job to the next—from general labor to distribution line factory work and so on thus when the next time his father lost a job nobody in the family was sure if they were going to leave the city they were used to or if another one in the area would repeat the process. It came to a point when David’s mother divorced his father and they moved to a more stable (relatively speaking) environment permanently around 1974.

David’s new environment was crime-ridden and tough on his mother, especially considering the stigma that still existed amongst divorced women trying to pick themselves up in the era. Perhaps it was here in his mother, Ashley Levitski, where David learned an admiration for hard work ethic since his father was so careless and arbitrary to the point where David didn’t care for him. In a chance encounter in the local park David found himself at odds when he attacked a boy over a name he called his mother to the point he told him that he would “erase his face” – he was interrupted before doing so by a police officer by the name of Thomas O’Reilly, who would be his first father figure.

The time passed in the inner city and under the guidance of the “old school” police officer David found himself joining the Police Department and aspiring to keep his burning temper under control within the confines of the law and if so necessary unleash it on those who deserved it—for not out of a sense of morality, but just desserts. David’s talents were soon discovered in these formative years as he found a knack for noticing things that other officers didn’t which eventually served him well when he was promoted to Detective fairly early on in his career, though due to politics and relationships with his superior’s daughter he found promotion climbing any further was quite unlikely. Still David found himself enjoying the work with every thumb he cracked or head he slammed into a table—as if he was exerting some weird power fantasy over his abusive childhood with his father. Nonetheless, time went on.

In time David found his younger brother, Richard, following in his footsteps—though in his time away from home his brother had taken to weird senses of optimistic morality and found himself clashing with his older brother during holiday gatherings in which they debated perspective. Admittedly, David was abrasive and patronizing towards his own sibling and likened his intelligence to inanimate objects in an attempt to give himself a reason to beat his brother down. However, Richard didn’t snap proving himself to be the better man. Still the siblings found themselves at odds with each other for many years up to through the childhood of Richard’s first son which he named after himself.

The time as a cop carried on and David continued to see people for how they really were—selfish, manipulative, deceitful, arrogant, pig-headed, out for themselves, and ultimately pretty terrible people. For every criminal he met he saw at least one aspect of his father in them which only made it all the easier to trait them with such vitriol. “Guilty until proven Innocent.” he figured about these people. As time toiled onwards things began to change such as his partner in the squad car, shifting from “old school” detectives like Andrew Tate to “new school” detectives like Joseph Atkins and Miranda Beake. The world kept proving itself to David however and he never strayed from how he believed. The years moved on. He moved to a new city— Dixie Inn.

David has been in Dixie Inn for twelve years, attempting what he did before, hoping to find a slower-paced smaller city to really sink his teeth into and relax. Despite having the tooth to continue it up north he wanted something different and Dixie Inn most certainly fit that definition.

Sawyer is a gentleman and a true southerner. He grew up in a conservative him with a decent amount of money. He teeters on the edge of being a slight alcoholic. Sawyer loves and cares about his family, the residents of Dixie Inn, and the kids in the town. Being the oldest of his three siblings, he tends to be a leader by default and is very good at taking charge of a situation. He is good at communication and has a very patient attitude.

Sawyer is the owner of his father's bar, "Tommy's" and he manages it with his two siblings. He stands at about 6'4 and weighs about 200 pounds.

▾ Biography:

Life for Sawyer was fine up until he was Seventeen. He grew up with his siblings, Ben and Danielle, and his parents, Thomas and Amber Crowe. His father made good investment decisions, early on in life and ended up with a decent amount of wealth. While he wasn't rich, he had enough to give to the town and give his kids a comfortable childhood.

When Sawyer was Seventeen, his mom was killed in a wreck on the interstate. His dad was sent into a downward spiral of depression that lasted for three solid years. On the rise of his depression, his new business, his bar called "Tommy's" started successfully gaining the interest of the townspeople. Sawyer eventually learned to help manage the place.

When Sawyer graduated college at age 22, he stayed to help his father run the bar. Little did he know, his father had re-developed his alcohol addiction and was slowly killing himself from the inside. His father died when Sawyer was 24 from side effects of alcoholism.

Sawyer became the legal guardian of his younger siblings, who all held on to the bar as a memory of their parents. He inherited all of his father's wealth and they use it to help the town whenever they can.

Just like his brother, Ben's life was normal up until his mom died. When his father died as well, you could say Ben fell off the rails a bit. At age 18, He left Dixie Inn and spent 2 years in Nashville, Tennessee. He got involved with a girl that was becoming a decent musician and had a chance in the industry. When her music career failed, however, she stole all of Ben's money, leaving him only with his clothes and his bike.

He returned to Dixie Inn, two years after leaving, to the re-welcoming arms of it's residents. He eventually helped his brother in the Bar and he sometimes works with an auto-mechanic in town.

In her adult life, she works at a barber shop and helps Sawyer and Ben run "Tommy's" She is looked up to by many of the girls in the town and she's a good influence on most of them.

Jamie Wolfe is an interesting young man to say the least. The first thing you'll notice is that he always has a relaxed air around him. He's the type of guy to roll with the punches and never really gets riled up. Despite his calm demeanor, he has a very active thought process and doesn't possess a filter. He'll always speak his mind, to a fault, he's always so brutally honest. Wolfe is also an extrovert and quite a funny one at that. He has a unique sense of humor, a mix of deep thinking questions and brutal honesty that either makes you hate him or laugh your ass off.

James isn't a black or white person, and sometime's you'll wonder how he'll react, he's not predictable. One moment he could be telling a joke, the next he could be asking thought-provoking questions, and the next he could be quiet and listening. James likes to do his own thing and try new stuff. He believes that everyone should be able to do their own thing without being judged or having to worry about their image.

Despite being able to do his fair share of talking and listening, James isn't one to talk about his personal shit often. Since he was a little kid and his parents died in a freak car accident, he has put up barriers between his fun and unpredictable persona he puts up at school and his personal life. Not many people know the deep stuff about Jamie, all the shit he's afraid to tell people. Because of this, he struggles with intimate relationships. It doesn't help that the one real relationship he had ended up with him getting cheated on and betrayed by an ex-bestfriend.

▾Hobbies & Interests:

James' real and true passion in life is music, he lives and breaths it. He started playing guitar and ukulele when he was around 11 or 12, he doesn't remember exactly. Wolfe can kind of play piano and learned a couple beats on a drum set but his true talent lies in guitar singing, and songwriting. Now, the only audience he's ever sang in front of were his grandparents, so he's not too confident in his abilities despite having a natural voice. I mean, who would believe their grandparents, its not like they could say he sucked. Jamie keeps his songwriting and singing low-key, so the only times you'll catch him writing lyrics or singing to himself is when he's alone. James hopes to make a career out of his skills in music one day, but his grandfather (a veteran) wants him to join the USMC like his father.

▾Biography:

From the few, foggy memories James has of his parents, he gathered that they had loved him dearly. Sadly, he could only think back to those simpler times in brief pictures and short clips. Like his favorite memory of them; he was being pushed on a swing by his father. Everythime the swing would rush backwards he would look over his shoulder to see his father smiling at him and James would giggle gleefully. When he was pitches forward he was greeted by his mother's beautiful face making silly expressions at him until he would get close enough and she would tickle his tummy. In the present day, he can only grip on to that one memory and a vague remembrance of their faces. He was five years old when they tragically died in a freak car accident. Jamie had been at home with a babysitter while his parents were out on a date for their anniversary. Coming home, they were in a front end collision with a drunk driver. The man had been swerving in his lane and smashed into them at 70 miles an hour. Medical professionals claimed they died instantly, not that James cared about the degree to which they died. At the ripe age of five, death was a foreign concept, and it didn't really sink in for a while. He was just told that Mama and Daddy were on vacation for a while and he was going to have to stay with his grandparents. May and Gary Wolfe took great care of him, even in their old age. Growing up, Jamie received nothing but love and was spoiled constantly. He grew up in an amazing home, Gary had been the CEO of a multi-million dollar company which not only allowed him to retire early, but left him with a hefty amount of cash in the bank. By the time James hit his teenage years, he became redical. He was angry at the universe from taking his parents away from him, and he acted out in school because of it. At the point, his grandparents were in their late seventies and couldn't keep a proper eye on him. Despite his punk behavior in school and the partying and the drugs, he always treated his grandparents with the tenderest love. Deep down he hated that he was doing what he was doing, because he knew his parents would have wanted him to be a better person. Not that it mattered what they would have thought, they were fucking gone.
Things sort of calmed down by his junior year of high school. He was actually focused on doing well in school and his teachers realized that he was actually really freaking smart. If he had put more effort in and really cracked down on his studies, he could have easily gotten straight A's. Instead he got average B's, but Hell that was way better than the D's and E's he had been recieving beforehand. Things looked like they were turning around from the young Wofle, he even managed to land himself a job as an assistant in an auto shop in town. Jamie learned here the ins and outs of cars, and also found a love for them. Using his grandfather's money, he bought a luxury car at 17 years old. It was a beautiful Audi R8 and it caught a lot of people's eyes. He bought it used, but used his new skills learned from the auto shop to fix it up.
At 17, James found his first love, Abby. He was head over heels the first time he saw her, he almost couldn't believe it. Even better, it seemed she had feelings for him to. Long story short, they dated for almost all of his junior year until April of that same year. Jamie had decided that he was going to surprise Abby with her favorite candy and a Redbox movie. She had claimed she was feeling sick that day so he wanted to go cheer her up. He had let himself in, knowing where the spare key was, but when he went upstairs to her room he was met with that made his blood boil. When he knocked on the door he heard a guy's voice curse. James slammed opened the door, half in shock and not want to believe what was probably behind that door. Wolfe opened the door to see his best friend, Jack, frantically trying to get off Abby. Not believing his eyes, he kind of just stood there for a while in shock. It was awful, they didn't even try to lie or explain. They just confessed that they had been seeing each other behind his back for about a month. Normally, James isn't one to explode on someone, but holy shit, he blew up. The normally calm teenager, literally threw Jack off Abby's bed and just started wailing on him. Abby was screaming and sobbing in the background, not that James was paying any attention to her. After Wolfe was satisfied with his work and all his anger was gone, he left Jack with his broken face and Abby with a broken heart. He never talked to either of them after that day, and when people asked what the hell happened to Jack, Jack lied and said he tripped skateboarding and ate shit. James didn't know why Jack never told anyone about how he got assaulted by James, but he tries not to think of either of them anymore. This is the main reason, James has been so distant recently, and he hasn't told anyone. When anyone asks what happened to Abby, he says she dumped him and didn't tell him why.

Charlie is your classic class clown, and always has been. His mom always taught him that the best way to anyone's hearts was to make them laugh, so that's what he did. He strives to have fun, and give people a fun time, often in the form of elaborate pranks that take him weeks of planning, that more often than not result in detention.

Once you get past the immaturity, Charlie is a really intelligent kid. He loves to read and learn, and is extremely curious. He's resourceful to, and has a knack for using the bare minimum supplies to solve a problem. He values brains over any other trait in a person, and finds himself drawn to the more intelligent inhabitants of Dixie Inn.

But, for all his intelligence, Charlie is a rather flawed teenager. His mouth is too big, and he often doesn't realize when he needs to stop running it. This social ineptitude has gotten him into more than one fight at school, but it hasn't taught him anything. And, years of being the smartest kid in school have given him a great deal of hubris, one that manifests itself as a desire to always be in charge, never wanting to take orders from anyone he deems less intelligent than he. Which is mostly everyone.

Outside of his classic practical jokes, Charlie has always found solace in books, as well as writing. He loves to read and could spend a whole day laying in bed with a great book. This love of reading led him to try his hand at writing, short stories mostly, but he does hope to become a novelist some day, or perhaps a screenplay writer. Other than that, Charlie just likes to hang out with friends, and go on whichever crazy misadventures they might get him into. He's always wanted a more exciting life, one like the stories he reads and writes, and so he often explores the town, late at night, in hopes of finding something of interest.

Charlie was born on a cold winters day in a small Californian town. He grew up on the west coast, with his mother and father, Christina and Mason, and later on his brother. He had a rather happy child hood, and was always popular at school.

And then, when he was twelve, his normally calm life was shredded to bits. He remembers the lights from the police cars most, but the look the man gave him was a close second. It had been a late night for his father, who was a doctor at the local hospital, and he'd been driving on a wet road when he lost control of his car. He'd died at the crash.

After that, his mom uprooted him and his brother and moved them to Dixie Inn. Traumatized by the death of his father and angered by his sudden move, he began to lash out, in the form of his pranks. His mom didn't really care, in fact he got most of his ideas from her. He's since gotten past his father's death, at least mostly, but he still has nightmares about that night.

Collin is a very contrasting figure to his brother. Where his brother is immature and reckless, Collin is cool and collected, the level head of his family. He does share his brother's intelligence and resourcefulness though, and he is extremely curious.

However, Collin's cool and collected exterior can crack at times, and when it does, God help the person who cracked it. His fury can generally be invoked by comments about his family or violence towards his brother or himself. He's also very shy, not very good at socializing with many of the other kids at school. He's easily embarrassed as well, and blushing seems to be second nature to him.

Born the second child of Christina and Mason O'Connor, Collin had a normal childhood. He and his family took yearly summer vacations and he played little league baseball while his brother complained about having to go to the games. It was a normal suburban life. Until that night.

Collin doesn't remember it like his brother does, but it hit him harder. He was closer to his father and when his mom told him that he wasn't coming home, he drew back into himself. He became much more reserved, much less friendly. It was only worsened when he was moved to Dixie Inn, away from all the memories he'd made when his family was whole.

He had hated Dixie Inn for the longest time. His classmates teased him for his western accent, and he couldn't stand the heat. But, he eventually found a few friends, kids who he became very close with in the coming years. While he remained a shy boy, he began to come out of his shell, and move past the incident that had haunted much of his earlier years. While he's not as healed as Charlie, he's getting there. He thinks running has definitely helped that, since it was the same sport his dad did.

Her body was found in the muck in Lafayette Bayou by a group of kids playing. A large chunk of her skin from her upper thigh was removed by what appears to be human.

Welcome to Dixie Inn, Louisiana

Hello and welcome to Dixie Inn, Lousiaina. A small town with no more than 400 people within it's borders. Your family and your friend's families have been situated in their homes for years and years. Not much change happens in Dixie. Most of our time consists of fishing, farming, going to school, and just trying not to die of boredom. But since its summer break, the real fun can begin- or can it?

A group of younger kids were down by the bridge, digging out a canal from the bayou so they could make themselves their own little private "pool" to hang out in when all of a sudden one of the kids picked out what appeared to be some human remains. Shocking and terrifying the younger kids ran to their older siblings to take a look at what they found just to make sure that it wasn't just their active imaginations. Turns out, it was a young woman's remains after all. The picture of her mangled body still engraved in their thoughts and dreams.

Dixie Inn's police force was not the ideal team to have on the case but they took quick initiative to try to find the reasoning behind the young woman's murder. Would this be the first of many? Did the murder have a motive? These questions were not just on the mind of the police force but also in the minds of the kids who originally found the body.

I guess this summer will have some excitement after all.

Everyone has some type of family don't they? If not, they will not need such relations. Lmfao. Everything I do has rhyme or reason behind it, trust me on this. We also have no indication that this was a normal person who just all of a sudden committed a crime. Alot of serial killers were considered "great members of society" etc before doing their crimes. Also, investigation work takes TIME. With a small little police force on the case, things are going to take way longer than somewhere in a big city. Until the murderer strikes again or possibly two more times- would the bigger dogs be swept into the situation. @BassDropp and I will be working on things, and I trust him and I can come up with a good plot line with motives.

If anything, we're just here to have some fun, right?
