"Yeh, neh, to be quite honest it's because I did not introduce myself." The half elf growled, and Dia brought her head back in dismay. It was quite rude to be honest, and she expected that from an orc or human but of someone with ties to her own? Hmph. The woman than pardoned herself "Pardon...I am 'Sir' Jericho Kaite of Ispar. Kaite will do, and I guess I am more used to happy hours than garden parties" Kaite said, a chuckle following close behind. "Where I come from, every thing is a garden party." Dia said, a small smirk across her pink lips as she put her hand up waving it. "Don't worry about it." Dia said, but in her mind she would remember the incident.

"Lady Durvain was slain by the Warlock."

Sadron's announcement was met with a few gasps and comments. Though Dionaea hadn't met her personally, her stories held her in high regards, despite being the leader of the humans. There were tales of her blessing households of need and being one of the most cunning of the High Council, and for that Dia found her to be inspirational. Dia's hands fell into her lap, listening to the other members of the part speak before Sadron listed off the role of each member.

"Dionaea Sycamore, you shall be the party's scout, to guide them safely through the perils before them."

Dia's eyes widened. She what? A guide for these people? Dia didn't even have shoes on let alone the capabilities to lead these people, they would laugh at her surely. She remained quiet, nodding. She would accept this task either way. It would be an honor to serve the high council, she required no payment besides her name spoken about. That is what her parents would have wanted as well.

"I suppose now is an excellent time to provide you the supplies you'll need on your journey. Each chest contains food and survival gear. It is all yours, so you may take what you want before departing. I trust Xen will let you know when to depart." Sadron said as Dia took part with the group gearing herself with all the items she found necessary, especially a pair of shoes. With the chaos of the rings, Dia just watched and listened. She didn't like to deal with the unknown too often, and this was very much an unknown.

She slipped the ring onto her slender fingers and would make use of it at another time, when she felt it was right.
Yes agreed, I'm not the GM- but the casual section is usually a bit more slow!
I like the activity and excitement but these two sentence posts and stuff is going too fast for me.
Holy moly posts.
I will catch up later tonight and get a post in.
Will get another post up probably in a bit.
Just got home from the bar so I dont know if drunk posting is in my best interest lmfao :D
@Hawlin

It's fine hahaha.
Dia is pretty young and she doesn't know better.

I'm sure she'll have something to say about the trickery later!
Welcome to the guild!
We like old and crusty around here- or is that just me?

Either way I hope you find something that tickles your fancy- and if you have any questions; don't be shy to ask!

"Oh, have a seat! Ya got their letter, too, ah?" the much taller woman than Dia said, a shared laugh between them. A sigh of relief escaped the young girl's lips. It seems that she wasn't too late nor was she too far fetched for being invited. She took a seat next to the woman and gave a grin, but not before taking off her bag and setting it on the floor by her bare feet. Dionaea quickly noticed how under dressed she was in comparison to the people gathered at the table. Perhaps it was something to say about the group of elves she was apart of, how close they were to nature and how blinded they were by their own thoughts of what was right and what was wrong.

"Refreshments?" the woman offered, and Dia nodded in return. "Yes, please!" she exclaimed, wrapping her fingers around a cup and pushing it towards Kaite quickly. Dia never turned down a drink, even if it was just simply tea. "To be honest with you, I didn't quite catch your name on the way in. Or to be more honest with you, I wasn't paying attention. I'm Dionaea Sycamore, 15th born of the Sycamore lineage. You can call me Dia though, all my family does, and friends I suppose." she smiled, watching her cup be filled. She took a sip, swallowing as Sadron tapped his staff on the floor.

"Seeing how everyone is here, how about we get started?"

"Here here." a man spoke up as Dia's eyes darted towards him. He was excited about what was happening whatever it may be.
:o Don't know if I am uh- being impatient but I did post;
It just got a little lost in between other's posts.
A walking stick had became her companion whilst on her journey, digging it into the ground a bit deeper and deeper with each step she took. Dia was NOT used to this type of exercise. She kept very active within the limits of her village, but never had ventured out this far or for this long in her entire life. Within the last mile she took the stick and tossed it onto the side of the road, a breath escaping heavy from her lips as took a break. Her hands placed on her hips as she looked up towards the change of scenery.

The Domain of the High Elves had never been seen by Dionaea only heard about and seen drawn in books and imaginations. She was still surprised and a bit in awe as she began approaching more steadily, her woven backpack low on her back filled heavily with her supplies of a days worth of travel. She approached closer, spotting several people already gathered. Was she late? "Damn." she muttered, hoping she wasn't late to the meeting. She picked up her step, getting up there quickly. "Pardon me, I'm sorry for being late." she excused herself, her petite body quickly finding a seat for herself. Was that rude? She stood up again quickly. "Sorry again, I'm not sure if we're supposed to sit." she admitted, a laugh escaping her lips.
