The two nurses looked at each other for a moment, then the short woman looked at Connor. "Then you are going. There is no way around her needing an X-ray with proper equipment. Perhaps if you are there to help her with... this phobia, then she can manage."

The male muttered a few words, and a hole seemed to appear out of thin air. He pulled a stretcher from it, and it started to float. "Alright, miss. Don't move too much." Slowly, he leaned down and lifted Kijani very very carefully.

Even so, Kijani flinched in pain, gritting her teeth so hard she felt her jaw would break.

"Easy. Easy now..." He set her down very gently, and then started to push the stretcher out of the gym. The red haired woman nodded, then pointed to Connor. "You. Follow." Then she turned to the rest of the group. "The rest of you! Show's over. McCoy- do something about the peanut gallery."

She turned and followed the man with the stretcher.
I'm going on Saturday with a few people.

Fun story: my dad saw one of the trailers and started singing the 'hooked on a feeling' song. me and my mom looked at him like he was nuts. He's like 'sorry, I had a flashback'.

I inherited my nerd gene from my dad.
The lab coated nurse frowned, getting the story from all three boys. But she nodded approvingly at Flood, and then refocused on Connor. "She needs an X-ray and a sling, not to mention painkillers. Why should we not take her to the office?"
Feel free to play the two nurses I just made up.

One bigger male nurse in blue scrubs.

One short female nurse practitioner in a lab coat.
Kijani was trying to hold back tears of pain and shame. People were surrounding her, and her ears were ringing. She knew, just knew that this would ruin her. Even though she couldn't hear the laughing, the taunts, she knew they were there in the eyes and the minds of the students. They hated her. They hated her...

And it was all her fault.

Slowly, tears started to course down her face. She couldn't trust herself to speak.
Devika returned with two nurses. It turned out the school had a pretty decently sized medical staff. Considering the likely injuries that could happen with a bunch of people learning superpowers, it made sense. The male nurse in blue scrubs was led by a short redhead in a lab coat, who quickly got to where everyone was gathered. Once they seemed to have the situation under control, Devika stepped outside the gym. Emotions were high, and she didn't want to feel anything.

"Back up. Give her room." The lab coated nurse had a soft voice, but the bearing of a drill sergeant, used to being immediately obeyed. "Whose jacket is this? Smart thinking." She crouched to Kijani. "We're going to move you. Just try to relax, girl. Jackson?"

The male nurse stepped in, and slowly rolled Kijani. The woman clucked her tongue. "Dislocated shoulder. Perhaps bruised ribs or hairline fracture..." She looked around the assembled students.

"Who can tell me what happened?"
I think Phoebe would know if her mom was suddenly a school nurse.

Yeah, I'll just make it some people.
so... uh... any ideas for the school nurse?
Well, have her acknowledge that it's going on, but maybe decide not to crowd, or maybe she doesn't like... I dunno, crisises?

Edit: Kijani's dislocated her shoulder and probably bruised her whole side. >>; I had to look that up.

Flood widened his eyes when he saw Kijani land on the ground and rushed over to her. "Crap! We need the nurse, now!" Flood yelled as he reached into a jacket pocket for something to help her. He pulled out a minor anaesthetic and hesitated. He kneeled down near her face. "I have an anaesthetic, are you in enough pain to need this? Just nod if you do." Flood asked in his best calm voice. "Get the God damn nurse already!" He called yelled at someone.

Connor glared at Flood, "Don't you think I know that? Don't you think I want to help? You don't have the right to ask, not here, not now, and not to me. I don't know what happened. That's the truth. All I know is, I brought her out of a place that is a nightmare to her. That's all I know." His voice, which had started off warningly towards Flood, softened, and his voice almost broke with emotion. "We're not going to take her to a nurse. The nurse can come here, but I don't think it would be helpful to take her to the nurse's bay" He said, remembering the chemical smell to the facility. "She landed heavily on her side. Maybe broken ribs?" He didn't want to move Kijani, fearful of hurting her.

Kijani whimpered near silently, in pain. Her whole arm hurt like hell, and she tried to speak, to tell Connor and Flood what was wrong. But when she saw the anasthetic in Flood's hand, when she saw the needle...

"No..." Her voice was low, almost too low to hear. But the rest of her reaction was clear. She could barely move, and yet, she was trying to get away. She wasn't looking at Flood, or Connor... but at the needle. "No-nono- No more..." The fear in her eyes was palpable, and she let out a weak noise as she curled into herself the best she could.
Devika watched the others take the course, sighing faintly. They all were so good at it, it was scary. But then... what was her name, Kijani, fell hard. She caused two boys to go running for her, and she definitely heard someone calling for a nurse. Finally, something she could do. "I got it!" She stood up from the bleachers and headed down. "Uh... don't move her, I guess?" That was really all she knew about injuries, try not to move so much. She headed out of the gym and started jogging for the nurses' office.
Yes, please post. Unless Katherin's the type to gawk, then you don't have to just stop. ^_^
