Hammerspace is an anime term. Basically it's being able to pull objects out of thin air. It's used a lot less with more modern anime.

In any case, I think that'd be an awesome superpower, even if it is slightly mundane.

Jackson neatly caught Liz, bracing her easily. He didn't have any healing powers himself, but being able to have access to a large amount of medical equipment almost instantaneously was always helpful.

Kijani was shivering, even as the warmth of the healing coursed through her body.Once it was done, she just lay there, breathing and not saying a word.

Jackson spoke up, his deep voice surprisingly gentle. "Try and move your arm, please?"

Kijani flexed her arm slowly, feeling no pain besides a funny tingling. "...it doesn't hurt." Her voice sounded hollow, even to her own ears.

Jackson frowned. The girl didn't sound well, and he was wondering if something else was going on. "Is there something else hurting you, miss?"

Kijani tried to maintain a neutral reaction to the question, but she couldn't help it. Her body curled tight, as if she were trying to disappear altogether. But she kept her lips pressed tight together.

Jackson looked to his partner. She was his senior, and he wasn't sure exactly how ethical, wise, or even possible it would be to drag information out of a teenage girl. "...what should we do, miss?"

*nod* I think my claim about proper healing is still valid, though. You can't just mend things without knowing what you're doing.

Also, the male nurse Jackson has 'hammerspace' as a superpower.

So have fun with that.

Sure. The male will be Jackson (first or last name, your choice).

On medical staff and healing powers: I imagine some of them do have them, but... well, they'd be for minor injuries and stab wounds. They're not entirely sure on what on Kijani is broken. The arm for sure, but it needs to be reset before anything can be healed. Broken bones as well- if they're not set properly, then they can heal improperly and be damaged worse.

The red-haired lady, I think, is frustrated with that line of thinking. She's likely seen a bunch of incorrectly healed injuries that have to be re-broken or fixed with surgery.

I always had issues with that... I mean, for a minor thing, that's fine, but... you really can screw yourself over if a broken bone isn't taken care of the right way.
