You Get What You Give

Jin couldn't believe what she had seen last night. She almost didn't believe it herself- she would have thought it some kind of hallucination, but she didn't use. Now in the morning, it was all over the news, and she was an actual witness.

Robin Hood! She'd heard the rumors, but she hadn't thought the Merry Men were real. But the man in the hood had robbed that rich bastard like it was nothing. It was like a scene from a movie, only better, because she'd been in it. No one believed her though. They were all convinced she was tweaked, and had imagined the whole scene. She hadn't, she knew it! Even after a week of insomnia, she had never had such an awesome hallucination.

"Man... I wonder if they hire people." She spoke aloud as she walked the backstreets, her long t-shirt hiding her feminine body, her loose pants stuffed with other people's money, and her faithful toolbox at her side. "I'd love to rob some rich idiots." A loud noise startled her into dropping into an alley into a crouch. Something was going down. She heard gunshots, too close, coming from an open door. Moving in a crouch, she headed toward it. Silently she opened her toolbox and pulled out her largest pipe wrench. Slowly, she peeked around the corner, her dark eyes taking in the scene. Two men in suits on the ground, a third pointing a gun at a guy dressed casual.

Well, there were three reasons any man in a three piece suit would ever hang out around this part of the city. Drugs, whores, or murder. She didn't know which of the three these suited fools were about, but she did know they didn't belong in her part of town. She crept forward, placing her weight on her feet to move silently. Even though the good guy had two guns, if the other suited goons woke up, he'd be in trouble. Moving just within range, she shouted and rose in one motion.

"Hey asshole!"

The man in the suit turned in response, and she clubbed him as hard as she could across the face. There was an audible crunch as his nose broke, and a nasty pop of the gun going off. Jin felt searing pain across her arm and went pale. "No way... the one time I do somethin' nice and I get shot for it... Ffff-" She felt her ears ringing, felt her vision going weird. Was she really going to die, the one time she stuck out her neck and helped someone?

EDIT: Okie dokie! My apologies for taking control of one of your NPCs, but I couldn't see any other way of ending the post. Jin's been grazed in the arm and is probably bleeding a bit, but isn't going to die. She's just panicking. Also, Jin looks like a male at this moment in time. A skinny male, perhaps too young to have facial hair.

Kijani sat in the audience as well. She was really rather impressed. Phoebe's dancing plants were an interesting feat. Perhaps if she got some more control, they could make excellent fighting drones. Maybe she could work out something similar with paper... then again, Phoebe's plants seemed to have some will of their own. Paper did not, luckily. She preferred to work with an element that couldn't fight back. As she applauded, she spoke in the direction of the males without looking at them.

"You might want to reconsider any rule breaking on campus. You get caught, and Principal Bats will have your powers sealed. So... don't do it." A smile appeared on her face. "Get caught, I mean. Having no powers sucks."

All of the teachers are actual Marvel/DC canon, so I'm gonna have to veto this off the bat. Even if this was for a student, it's way, way too overpowered. He's a mage, and can regenerate, and uses a ton of weapons. Is insane and nice, and has a high moral code? *shakes head* Oh, and has no known past or data.

Please, and I'm saying this as respectfully as possible...

Please try harder. This is just a mishmash of cliches, and the lack of past feels more like an excuse not to write a credible backstory.

You can post rap, but... *shrug* Rap, like all music, has levels of quality. That is... bottom of the barrel, about the level of Katy Perry. There is just so much better out there.
