"I'm Jin... Haven't chosen all my classes, but definitely taking the robotics class." Jin started generally cheerful, but her confidence faded as two people suddenly left. She tried to keep her face from showing her pain. It had taken her less than five minutes to alienate two people. Definitely some kind of record.

"U-uh... I'm... I'mgonnago." Her words came out a hurried mumble, as she yanked the hood over her head, tugging it tight as if she was trying to cocoon herself into her clothing. Without another word, she shoved her hands in her pockets and started walking away.
*reads over the profile*

Jin and Jack need to have an eating contest at some point.

Not for speed... but for endurance. Who can eat the most? *wide grin*

This needs to happen... Jin also has a high metabolism, thus her always being hungry. It gets much more obvious when she's using her powers, to the point where I'm debating having her carry some kinda glucose snack in her gear, just in case of a long mission or a heavy battle.
Jin is talking to Jack, Ryan, and Violet...

Is there any master list of profiles? I have no idea what anyone looks like...

That's Jin, btw. More or less.
Jin shuffled down the corridor, with the last burger half-eaten in her hand. There was a group of students conversing in front of her, and for a moment she was right back in middle school. They made it look effortless, socializing, speaking to each other. They were so... normal. Even here, she was pretty lost.

Her first day of middle school, she'd nearly gotten expelled for fighting. It wasn't her fault that some older girl decided to start a fight. How was she supposed to know that she wasn't supposed to win? The way she'd grown up, the only way to keep yourself safe was to finish a fight that was started. A fight was finished when you won, and the other person wasn't moving, or they were bloodied enough to know better the next time.

Rumor around the school was that she'd broken the girl's nose and collarbone; the year had been filled with suspicious side glances and solitary lunches, students and teachers alike looking at her as if they were waiting for her to explode.

She tried to put the memories back into her mind, and nervously approached the students who were talking. She recognized at least one of them- he'd been the motormouthed speedster who came in late. The girl was vaguely familiar, but the other guy was not. Clearing her throat, she lifted a hand in greeting.

"Hey." Okay, greeting done. Now, what was next? "Uh..." Think, dammit, Jin! "So... what classes are you all taking?"
Not to kill your buzz, but I'm pretty sure Sun Tzu was not a warrior in his own right, but a strategist. The other 4 seem really combat heavy. Though, honestly, having someone who knows the ins and outs of war and battle in a mental sense is not someone you want to overlook.

*shrug*
Jin sat in the cafeteria, eating a hamburger with the focus of someone performing surgery. She was always hungry somehow, and she didn't know why. It wasn't like she was growing. The morning's assembly had been... informative. She was still so angry at Chance for forcing her to be here. He said she had to learn to be a kid- that he couldn't teach her to act her age around people like her. Who said she wanted to be her age at all?

She polished off her first burger and started on the second. Luckily she'd gotten a room to herself- she didn't know what her brother had pulled for that. Hopefully he didn't reveal anything important. She didn't want to start the school year by being labeled the insomniac troublemaking freak student. Of course her brother loved her- even when she was angry enough to hate him, she never doubted that. Still, she was just a thief. Why was she going to a school for people who had real power. All she could do was make stuff move, and even that wasn't really useful.

The second burger went the way of the first and she started walking with the third. She was wearing an oversized hoodie with binary code spelling out 'f*** off' on the back, and jeans that hid her slim frame. Maybe if she stuck to the corners, no one would notice her. Maybe then she wouldn't have to get into trouble and get thrown out.
Okay. Cafeteria. *nod* Thank you.
I'm here! I just don't know how to enter. Someone help, perhaps?
Ok, so how should I slip into this RP?
Can I ask how fast is too fast?

I don't really know figures or anything. I was just tossing out a number. 200 sounded nice and round. Plus, what I meant by her being in a tunnel is that the conditions are completely 100% optimal. She'd never find something like that in the field, but theoretically she could be that fast. She probably doesn't even know it- or what the ramifications of that would be to her mind and body.

So... please tell me what a better number is, because I actually don't know what 200 mph pertains to.
