Jin yanked her hoodie over her head and tossed it aside. Underneath she was wearing a simple black tank. There was no Greek goddess to be found here. Jin's body was very androgynous, and although her soft face seemed female, her body could just as easily seem male. She was flat chested and slim, but her arms and shoulders were wiry with muscle. The only way one could really be sure was to check her neck, which lacked an Adam's apple. Jin had found that very few people thought to look for that, though.
Slowly, she cracked her knuckles and her neck. "So, powers or no powers?"
Jin: "I'mma hurt my neck having to spend time with you."
Kijani's asleep in her room, Devika's outside the cafeteria as usual.

Jin seemed confused about the question. "Hm? My hand is fi-" She lifted the hand that she'd hit him with, only to see that her fingertips had gone blue-white with cold. "Holy shi-" It took everything in her power not to panic at the sight, but her eyes were wide. "That... that'll wear off, right?" To the taller guy, she grinned bright. "I like the way you talk. Let's get to know each other, shall we?"

Devika heard Vance's words well enough, but she was so afraid. There had been incidents in her past, where her power had overgrown her inhibitor. She would never forget those moments, as they were a start reminder that she was dangerous, that she always had to be in control of herself. Now he was telling her to lose that control as if it were nothing.
A faint sigh escaped her. "Yes, let's go to the library. Maybe the books will calm me." She smiled, but it was nervous. "Lead the way."
My apologies for losing this yet again. I'm trying to clean out my dead threads so I can focus on the RPs I actually like. This is one of them, it's just that the site kinda overwhelms me at times. Just looking at it makes me not be able to clear my head.
Are you willing to forgive me, or is this one better off done? We could try again if you like, because I do like the way you RP.
