What can I say, I'm a bad person.* I'm good Duzz, how're you? > > What about giving her some power over gravitational fields? Its one of the theorised explanations for psychokinesis by a physicist (can't remember who) Could increase or decrease the gravity of specific items and people, or in a localised field? *puts into a headlock* No touchy. Gravity sounds interesting. It certainly would help her with flight and such, as well as make her able to move heavier objects.
I'm slow, lemme alone. *hugs Sam* How you been? Also, I really have no idea how to bring Jin's powers forward. I could easily make her telekinesis stronger, but that seems so piddling compared to everyone else. I mean, I have some ideas but no idea how to really describe them. Anyone who wants to help, please let me know. I could use that as a plot point, though. Jin feeling like she's not pulling her weight anymore. Sleep is needed, see you folks on the other side of the sunrise.
My bad, guys. my dumb self was watching the old thread and I JUST realized I never put this one on my watch list. I'll catch up as soon as I can...
Jin's immediate response was to try and get away. She didn't need help, she wasn't weak, she just needed a minute. But she realized that she was much steadier with him bracing her, and frowned. There was shame written on her face, and she hastily yanked her hoodie up. "We don't speak about this, you hear me? I don't need help, and you don't have my back because it's always against the wall."
"Alright. Lead the way." She really had no idea about any of this stuff. It was nice to have him explain it to her. "What is the armor for? Are we going to be fighting or something?" She was pretty sure Harley riders didn't wear armor. Then again, it could easily be hiding under all the leather.
Jin nodded a bit, wiping a layer of sweat from her forehead. "Yeah, I'm fine." She was still moving, true, but fine was pushing it. She continued down the hall, eventually starting to brace herself against the wall while she walked. Had it really been so long since she'd been all of herself, that the backlash was so bad?
I really think Devika is one of the few who ever really made Mimic hurt. She didn't mean to, but she did. That's a weird distinction for my girl, who thinks she really doesn't have too much skill. *thinks about what to do with Kijani* Oh! I'm EST. Almost 10 pm for me out here.
Devika waved a bit when she was introduced, but she was not at all looking forward to this. Like someone had so adroitly stated, she was an empath and not much more. As Flood started to plan, she stayed quiet, already on edge from being near people. Flood's presence was one thing, but then she could feel Griffin/Zack bristling at her. And then there was Kat. She hadn't had much experience with the Asgardian, but the girl's smile alone mad her shivery inside. "I..." She cleared her throat and tried more clearly. "I took Mimic down once, but... I don't know if it would work a second time."
Kijani didn't want to owe Taylor anything. As nice as he was to her, she wasn't going to be indebted to anyone. "I'll get my own, if it's all the same. Save your money." She looked over the helmets some more, before she found a black one with a subtle red design. Checking the price, it was well within her range. "What about this? It doesn't have the speakers and stuff..."
Kijani looked quite eager at the word 'sale', but she knew she still couldn't afford that particular helmet. "That's excellent! Thank you for letting me know." She was always polite to salespeople. Something her friends had always lacked, especially when Kijani found herself sticking up for them. It was one thing that they were customers, but they didn't have to treat the workers like scum. When the woman left, Kijani leaned toward Taylor and murmured in a low voice. "Taylor, even at a discount, I can't afford that..." It made her feel deeply ashamed inside. To have to worry about money, it was a feeling that she didn't like.
