Im dealing with life stress BS. but i am still very interested.
It is incredibly adorable, I love it. Which is why I make Connor do it. It helps he's based on a real person too. Connor is just....perfection to me. I'm glad I chose him for this. Fun note, the real life person he's based on told me the lemon fact.*thumbs up* I love Connor to pieces. ^_^ So does Kijani, even though she's really horrible at showing it.
"Well, the oils and that in curries, and other spicey foods actually coat your tongue, which is why water isn't effective-water and oil don't mix. The lemon juice is acidic, breaks through the oil, and takes away the heat, the spics" Connor said, clearly taking that information from the top of his head. He cleared his throat, and smiled shyly,Kijani blinked and gazed at him for a few moments once he'd rattled off that info. Then she leaned across the table and gave him a chocolate flavored kiss right on the mouth. "It's damn cute when you do that, you know? My goodness, I've never found learning sexier." She went back to her shake, her cheeks reddening.
Carbonated beverages are not a good combination with spicy food.Yeah, the carbonation makes the spice much, much worse. Turns it from a burn to 'my tongue is melting' pain. EDIT: Unrelated- my future husband does that infodump thing, but specifically toward animals... He's just got a serious knack, and he knows a lot. He'll just be talking about some species of African gazelle, an I'll be staring at him like "...~<3" It is adorable.
Connor smiled, and said "I can stand hot food. It is quite nice, when done right" he agreed, laughing as well, "an easy way to avoid that is have two napkins" he said, amusingly, setting aside his drink.Kijani chuckled. "Well, I learned that. I also learned why they also give you a little bowl of yogurt with your food. Incidentally, did you know lemon juice can take away the burn from spices? I learned that too, but I don't know why. Maybe you can research it and let me know."
Connor went for chocolate as well, qnd content, but still worried, he sipped at it. As kijani asked if he wanted to go out, he nodded, a slow, almos charming crossed his facce, "I would like that" he saidKijani couldn't help but blush. Connor's smile was just so adorable. "Alright, then. Where do you want to go? I think it's your turn to choose. The city is our smorgasbord." She knew this really incredible place for Indian food, but she wasn't sure how Connor handled spicy food. Curry was delicious, but it wasn't fun if you didn't know it could hurt.
