Wow, Ryan's a real jerk... Selfish much? Of course she's going to put blood over water.

Anyway- Knight, can we just say John came in after the food arrived?

Also... what Valentine's Dance is this?

Connor cleared his throat, "learning from a lady like you?" He said, "well, what man could say no to that? I 2ill, of course, accept" he wqs trying to sound sophisticated, but fell short, most likeky sounding geeky.

"I cant help it" kalinda said quite truthfully

Kijani found herself giggling softly, one hand over her mouth. "Well then. I'm going to introduce you to all sorts of things. You're going to eat like a king." She was smiling as her cell buzzed and she picked it up. "Hello? ...Which window?" She walked through the lab, opening a west window. "I see it. Thanks." Stepping back, she opened her arms as a small remote controlled helicopter hovered into the room, with a tied up plastic bag full of food underneath it. Kijani carefully caught it and removed the bag of food, then sent the helicopter on it's way back out the window. "Most awesome delivery in town." She grinned and set the food down. "Okay, so the chow mein is for you. The crab rangoon is amazing, I hope you're not allergic to shellfish. Have as many cookies as you want." She paused, removing a pair of wooden chopsticks from the bag, tugging off the paper and splitting them to be useable. "You know how to work a pair of chopsticks, right?"
Devika snorted lightly. "Can't help it, huh?" She honestly didn't believe that. If you had control over what your body did, and what your mouth did, then you could control not prying into someone's business. "I think I'll go. See ya." She got up, brushed the loose grass from herself, and started walking.
This Chapter has a name? What is it?

Also, young love is a myth. Love is born of experience and self knowledge. Teenagers are still figuring themselves out- they don't know who they are, their identities are rarely fluid. If they don't know who they are, they don't have the capacity to know someone well enough for it to be actual love.
What, they've known each other half a year? *eyeroll* So much drama...

Connor watched her order, amused, "you plan on there being more than one meal together?" He asked, trying to apoear nonchalant and most likely failing. He took a sip of drink to hide his slight embarrassement at what he had said, but didnt look away.

"I suppose thats true. But I can just break im so easily..." kalinda trailed off

Kijani chuckled and cleared her throat, realizing what she'd said. "I don't plan on anything." An absolute lie- more like she planned for everything. "If you want to become a proper epicure, then it's up to you whether you want to take on the learning experience that I could provide you." She smiled slightly. "Up to you." Despite her coolness, her mind was reeling. Did... did he want there to be another meal together?
Devika frowned. "Just because you can break in easy, doesn't mean it's right or that you should do it. I mean, that's completely unethical."
Caits, uh... there's one too many typos in Kalinda's dialogue, I have no idea what she's saying.
*thinks* I think Kijani needs to have a little talk with Anthony...

Connor laughed, "they are good once you get use to thing.but honestly, I get so into thi gs that I don't notice the taste if I am building something or working something out" he set his own noodles down, "you are welcome to order some food in. My treat sincd the noodles are indeed horrible" he popped opem a can of drink, and after making sure he nad turned the burner off, leaned agaimst the bench, "introduce me to actual food"

Kalinda shrugged, "I guess we are different. It intrigued me" she looked down, maybe she didnt have any boundries, but surely she had a moral compass? She wasnt too sure

"Well, if you insist." She grinned widely and pulled out her cell phone. Several restaurants were on her quick-dial list, and she picked a favorite. "Hello, Great Wall Chinese? I need a delivery. Let's go with... a chicken chow mein, a Singapore chow fun- extra pepper, please- an order of crab rangoon and..." Her fingers drummed on her lips as she thought. "Double fortune cookies." A beat. "My card number?" She chuckled softly. "Tell Mr. Han that Xuéshēng Kijani is making a special order." She grinned wide as she hung up the phone. "We're going to start slow. I'm not going to have you go from freeze dried pasta products to duck pate, so tonight we'll have the best Chinese in the city and tomorrow... we'll see."
Devika shrugged a bit. "I'm already nosing in on their emotional states- whether I want to or not. I feel like asking them to divulge makes me... just nosy. Sometimes, if people don't want you to know- then that should be respected."
*Pokes at Avan and waves a wand at him*

*to others* Uh, guys, I'm going to bend the laws of narrative to have some food delivered to Connor and Kijani.

"Ever cooked food using lab equipment?" Connor asked, going to his backpack, which still held his suit even though he couldn't use it. He just didn't feel right without it.he took out thenonly things he had had in his dorm to eat-two minute noodles, flavoring, two cans of drink, anda box of chocolates. When he got Into his work, he tended to immerse himself and not rise until something distracted him. Usually Austin these days, so quick handy food was all he had when he got hungry, and diddidn't want to walk down to the cafeteria. He also took out two metal cups, poured the noodles into each one, put water in and everything else. He went over to a bunsen burner, turning it on. Within Moments he had successfully cooked the noodles. It was nothing Fancy-if he had thought about it, he would have thought about Fancy. But Connor wasn't that type of guy anyway.he set the noodles down, using a cloth so as not to burn himself oj the cups. "We eat while it dries, and then see if it worked"

Kalinda eventually made her way back to Devika, feeling etter. Axtually she was begining not to feel anyfhing at all. "Sorry" she said, eitting down despite the fading light, "that was powerful

Kijani watched, fascinated, as Connor cooked up a quick meal right there on the lab. "This can't be sanitary..." She murmured with a wry little grin. But she carefully took a bit and blew the steam off, before taking a bite. "Oh, god, this tastes like..." Her face said it all. Kijani was used to real food, and the best of that real food. This was a decided step in the wrong direction. "Ugh, how can you even eat this? I don't think there's an actual organic ingredient in here..." She hastily set down the noodles, shaking her head. "No wonder you're so skinny, you don't eat properly." She leaned forward and poked him gently in the stomach. "I've got to introduce you to actual food."
Devika nodded, twisting to lie on her stomach. "I felt it too. But I'd never do anything about it unless I was asked to- or they were in such pain that it was going to harm other people." She shook her head slightly.
