Kijani sat in the gym, damp and slightly bored. Class had been canceled until the lockdown was over, and since the gym was a large, secure place, plenty of students were in there, simply passing time. "...today of all days, we get stuck in the gym. I want to go back to my room. I'd rather be locked in there."
Oh, ok.
Uh... wait. What? How far forward did we go?
No idea what to post.
I don't know but this is slightly delaying my endgame. Oh well. It will just be an interesting day at thr Academy.
Hey Flood. Should I put Jin's profile in the character tab?
I am kinda interested. May need to refresh myself with a movie summary to get the time period down.
Lunch please? Or at least downtime so people can lick their wounds.
"Paint bombs are more his style" Connor mused, followin Kijani in. It was so rare for her to admit to any type of weakness, so rare for her to admit to tiredness. He didn't even hesitate, not particularly caring what anyone thought, he wrapped his arms around her, enveloping her in a hug. He kissed the top of her head, and said softly, "I know" Because he didn't know what was wrong, the only help, the only support he could give was his comfort, his...solidity. That was all he could give. His voice was tender, loving, caring. Soft. "Whatever is wrong, I'll be here" [/quote] Kijani went very still when Connor hugged her. She was afraid that if she moved, even breathed too deeply, then she'd shatter. She'd crumble into a million fragments and tell him everything. That couldn't happen. That wouldn't happen. She was going to be strong, just a little while longer. "I know that." She dared to speak, and prayed that he couldn't hear anything but strength in her. Not pain, not regret, and not guilt.
"Maybe the school was on fire and the water in the halls is a result of that" connor said musingly, before giving a shrug "or McCoy really wants to give us a weird gym session. Or most likely it's Flood playing a joke or the likes of that." He knew something was up, and it was a struggle not to ask, not to find out what he could so that he could figure out what it was. But if Kijani wanted to continue as if nothing had happen, he would. And just figure out what was wrong the harder way
Kijani shook her head slightly. "Flood has a bit more creativity than simple water, I think. Now, if it was raining... I don't know, hair dye, now that would be one of his." She tried to smile, but it barely lifted the corners of her mouth. "I'll be glad when class is over." She opened the door to the gym, briefly ducking out from Connor's makeshift cover. "I'm... quite tired."
