Jack would be cheering up a bit, feeling better to have a couple people to get his mind off things. "Here, take a couple bars and tubes. They're a mix made for me personally, so they should all hit like that. If you ever need more, just let me know." He would hand her a few flavors. Looking at Leon, he would nod a bit. "I've always been fast, but this was all a dream come true for me. I've always idolized the speedsters. Wish I was as fast as them though." He would say with a tinge of regret.

Jin looked at Jack, curious. "So you knew what you were. You had... what'dyacall. Role models. That's cool." She toyed with the glass of water by her hand, making the glass spin in place with her powers and watching the liquid in it swirl. "I didn't know what I was, besides different. My brother... well, he's different too, but not like me. Took me a long time to figure out what I could and couldn't do."

"Small town mentality. Simple as that. You seem to have lots on your plate and don't have a way of clearing it yet, no sense in letting you deal with it all yourself. Today is meant to be a fun day, just relax and enjoy it." He gives her a smile keeps moving down the aisles. "What kind of food do you enjoy?"

Kijani shook her head a bit. It was obvious that she still didn't understand. She also didn't have the strength to argue, so she started to follow him again. "I will eat anything but shellfish. And carrots." She made a little face. You only needed to have bad oysters once to never trust them again. "Other than that, my palate is very accepting."

Sweet. Maybe this will kickstart my brain. I think that might have been part of the problem. I didn't know what Jin's personal arc was. The very first RP, she had one where she was going to go criminal for a bit. That RP fizzled and I never got to do that arc. I'll try again with this character. I apped her for... for something. I think the Future's End thing we tried. Never got off the ground, so she's coming back.

Kijani picked up her head and stared at him, a mix of suspicion and confusion on her face. "Why? Why are you so willing to help? What are you getting out of this, huh?" She didn't sound angry, truly. More than anything else, the young woman sounded completely exhausted. "I... I really don't get why you're willing to waste your money feeding a stranger." She paused, looking away. "It doesn't make any sense."
