Uh... I'm considering having Kassy crack the plot wide open. I just need whoever's playing Lady Lobo, along with the rest of the mod squad to approve what I'm going to do.
A few things:
1. Black Widow's name is Natasha Romanov... Would it make sense for the daughter to have her actual last name instead of Widow?
2. One of the old rules (that I think needs keeping) is that current students can't be experts in the field. There needs to be space to learn, otherwise, why bother going to school at all? Dial down some of her talents. Maybe the healing factor isn't as strong as Daddy Wolverine, too? Just a suggestion.
That's all, though.

Achieng's 'chair' set into a little magnetic hitch on the wall. It would hold her stable for the jump. "Oh, this is exciting and terrifying." Her eyes were lit with joy, and she seemed to be shuddering with excitement.

Kijani prepped her datapad, and was waiting at the front of the ship, looking out at the wormhole. While she wasn't given to overt emotion, she was transfixed on the sights ahead. What waited on the other side? No one knew. It would be her name on the research, her name on the documents... Her knowledge would become power for the world.

^__^ I had some inspiration when I realized Achi never got to see her room. Basically imagine a large aquarium, but with furniture and stuff instead of... I dunno, fake castles?
Achieng was anxious. This was no longer the mission she'd signed up for. If something had killed the whole planet, then what chance did she have against that kind of thing? She had only had enough training on her homeworld to defend herself, and that was in water. What could she do here? If there were survivors, of course she would counsel them, and help them through the trauma.
Unfortunately, that seemed like a very large 'if' at this point.
Not wanting to succumb to her thoughts, she went down several decks in the ship. Her room was marked with her name and title, and she scanned her ID to get in. Inside was a large, low-lit tank of water, that took the majority of the space. It was partially set into the floor, and she saw what looked like furnishings inside. She rolled her tank up to the side, and pressed a small button that raised the water basin up, and opened it. Achieng pulled herself from the basin, and slid gratefully into the opening at the top. It closed after she ended, and she exhaled bubbles, relaxing as the familiar pressure of the water settled around her.
Maybe now she could relax. She took her time swimming her dwellings, end to end. Checking all the furnishings, she found them nice, if a bit bland in color. Settling onto the bed, she let her orange and black fin drift in the low current created by the tank's generator.

Kijani stayed quiet, looking to Connor. It was important that they showed a system of ranking in front of this woman. It would be easy to keep her under control if they showed structure. "Perhaps we check her information, first? See if it's even worthwhile." In truth, she was eager to get back to work. Something about this whole situation just got under her skin in the worst way. The more time they wasted on this strange woman, the less information they could gather.

Kassy went quiet as Miss Kagerou did her exam. Aside from a nasty lump on the side of her head, there didn't seem to be anything that could cause memory loss. "Anything? My head doesn't really hurt, aside from the one spot, but... I feel like there's..." Her eyes were filling with opaque, white tears. "I feel like there are things I'm not remembering. I should remember, and-- and--" She hiccuped and started to cry. "What's wrong with me?"
