@KatherinWinter Princess and the Frog.

Alright. I'm torn between Ursula's daughter, and the daughter of Tiana and Naveen. What do you guys think?
What kind of characters do you need currently?
Jin rejoined the group eventually, drenched in sweat and breathing heavily. Slumping to the butterfly laden ground, Jin let out an exhausted sigh and then stuck one arm up, flashing them a thumbs up. They were clearly too out of breath to speak, and the quiver on their back was empty of arrows. The others had managed to defeat that creature- that made Jin happy. They'd been so afraid, because after leading the Shadowed Tomoda away, they hadn't been able to get back and help with any sort of speed.

Everything was going to hurt tomorrow.

But for now, rest.

"...I want to go home." Was the first sentence out of Jin's mouth, punctuated by gasps of breath.
Hey Kath! Is there room for one more? I need something light and cute.
Yo. I live a little bit.
"It's Devika to you. Sit down if you feel faint. If you're going to puke, please do it elsewhere. I just shined my boots yesterday." There would be time to help the poor mortal cop out of his shock later. For now...

"I am nice, yes. But I'm not stupid." She reeled back, surprisingly swift for a woman of her size, and kicked Connor in the temple. "How dare you put all of us in danger. If I wasn't so nice, I'd call the Council down on you. Don't forget, I can wield just as much strength as you can, Connor. Idiot." She wrapped a hand around his throat, feeling his stolen anger fueling her actions like a foreign hand. "You've fallen hard." Taking a deep breath, she pushed that anger down, twisted and warped it, called up memories of fear. Deeper than mere fear, something more primal. Childhood terror, fear of things lurking in the dark. Formless, unknowable monsters coming to get you as soon as you closed your eyes. This fear she pushed into Connor, feeling it leech through her body and into his.

"If you ever try anything like this again, remember what will come for you. Remember every time you close your eyes to rest, that the White Council's blade could be the last thing you see. Remember that there will be people like me to stop you, every single time, Connor. Remember me, and be afraid."

Truth to be told, part of that was an empty threat. She would never call the White Council on anyone. Unfortunately, her empathy was strong enough to be toeing the line of mind control. If they knew, really knew how strong she actually was, they'd probably kill her out of their own misguided fear.

Stuff has happened!

-Got a new job at a bookstore! I am happy~

-Got a new car! Traded in the one I had, which was 'better' in a luxury sense, but far too expensive and pissed me off for personal reasons. This one is ALLMINE! I kinda want to name it.

-FINALLY got my own place with my fiance! We don't wear pants, life is good.

I finally feel like... like my life is starting to pull together a bit. I feel calmer than I have in a very long time. Thank you for sticking with me through it. I really do appreciate it.
Kassy resisted the urge to laugh as she watched Reese's cowardice take hold. It had almost been too easy. She was rather pleased that he'd shed his uniform. That made things less complicated. She stepped over to his discarded clothes and put them on. Her form shimmered, and in her place was Reese. Or, at the very least, a close proximity of the man. Getting clothes right could be a pain in the blowhole- even though she could see well at night, she wasn't all that good at discerning color. She made sure the jacket was on firmly, and put the goggles over her eyes. She hadn't been able to discern Reese's eye color, so she'd just made them a general brown. If she was wrong, the goggles would help with the ruse.

Inhaling and bracing her nerves, she stepped over to the rest of her group, trying to match a casual male walk. Her staff had been hidden just out of the way, buried in the sand. Thank goodness for Dima's fighting lessons! If things went poorly, she wouldn't be completely defenseless.

Taking a quick moment to observe the group's movements, she stepped over to one of the cages, the one that Reese had set down. It held a beautiful bird, a predator if that beak was any indication. It screeched rather loudly, and she resisted the urge to flinch. Quickly she bend back the lock of the cage, making sure that it would close, but not lock. THen she set the cage down the the others. Picking up another, she did the same thing. If Pulse was a brutal sword, then Mirage was a hidden dagger. Hopefully she could damage the locks before anyone decided to speak to "Reese".
