"I do." Akio answered softly. His mind was on the fact that the was stuck on an island for a year. He hated islands. He was terrified of islands. He hoped their house wasn't near the water. He didn't know if he could handle that. He took his new wife's hand and turned towards the crowd.

Those gathered there cheered for the newly married couple. The minister leaned over and whispered in their ears. "You will walk down the hall and outside. You will take some wedding pictures while the guest head to the reception."

Undina didn't entirely understand. "What are you going to take from us?" But she went where the priest had told her. "Akio... is your family here? I'd like to meet them. I guess they were okay with this match if they made you go through with it." She sighed very faintly. "But... do they know I'm not... you know... human?" She really hoped it wouldn't be a problem.

"Also, what are they going to take from us outside? Wedding pitchers? I didn't know we were supposed to bring anything." Maybe she'd been misinformed.

Well, I dunno if she's ever even thought about it. She doesn't have a whole lot of friends, (she has no friends) so it's entirely possible she's never met a woman who piqued her interest in that way. It's entirely possible she's attracted to both, as well. *considers this*

Jin had been about to speak, but when Sakura grasped their sleeve, they stopped to listen. Sakura was... going to do the protecting? Sweet, quiet, Sakura?

"...nah." Jin laid their hand over Sakura's, giving it a slight squeeze. "It's my job to look after you. And that's what I'll be doing. I just need a better weapon, and some answers." The bow and arrows were good, but Jin was already thinking about something lighter and more versatile. If they were going to be fighting endless waves of monsters, Jin would need a weapon that had a lot of ammunition. That, and maybe knowing who their enemy was would help the fight.

While they were displeased about Aki's sucking up to this Philemon person, Jin had to admit that upsetting the person who had the way out was probably a good plan. "So... why are we here, for real? Is it just us who can get these... gods and demons and whatever? Why do we need them?"
