"Gotcha." Kijani nodded, watching Anthony walk off. There was Kalinda, who'd taken down Anthony... There was that alien show off telepath, not far behind... She was pretty sure there were others, too. She was surrounded from all sides, no powers, no help... She smirked. Finally, a real challenge. She backed into the shade of the trees and quickly took off her shoes, stepping silent on bare feet.

Devika got up, trying to bury the pain she felt. Her discipline was slipping- or the pain was too much. Either way, she wasn't well.

Kijani saw the dust kicking up, and frowned. That certainly wasn't right-- there was no wind, just an odd dust cloud. She let out the signal whistle, and got her gun ready. "That's the stupidest way to hide I've ever seen." What a waste of power.

Devika looked up at John, figuring she should get up. But she didn't move. "...They all knew I was weak, John. Everyone saw it, I was the big target, ready to be singled out." She inhaled slow, to put a stop to the tears that were building up in her. "What do I even try for?"

Kijani nodded to Anthony, before turning around and walking backwards, keeping watch on Anthony's back and preventing anyone from sneaking up that way. All of her years of walking and reading gave her an excellent sense of where she was in her environment. She sidestepped trees and branches as she kept watch while walking backwards.

So yeah. I don't understand where anyone is, so I dunno what to post for Kijani.

Devika sat there on the ground, sighing distantly. For not the first time, she was wondering if coming to this school was a major mistake. Who was she trying to fool? She couldn't keep up.

Yeah, Devika got like... 12 shots. This isn't going to do well for her confidence.

The man heard Joshua coming, and straightened up quickly, one hand on a pistol. He took aim at Joshua, but didn't fire. Not yet. Something wasn't quite right about the movement. "...what happened to you?" He was wondering if this was just some ploy, or if this man was truly ill. The blood on his head looked real enough, but... he'd seen plenty of ruses in his lifetime. "Get to talkin' or prepare to get shot!"

Meanwhile, Jinny stayed hidden, her dark eyes fixed on the situation, afraid to to blink. Desperately she hoped that Mr. Josh would be okay, and not get shot.
