Kijani nodded, understanding. "Assassin of opportunity. I like that." She rose up, gathering her small bag and tidying her hair. "Yes, I'm ready to go." She took a few steps toward the door, then
turned back. She looked Anthony right in the eyes. "Listen. No matter what your true motives are, or what price I'll pay to you for the information... Thank you." Her lips turned upward into a smile, small, but true. "For telling me the truth." With her piece said, she headed again to the door, opening it to step outside.

Anthony looks Kijani straight in the eye and replies, "Without a doubt. My father will let us in, but we have an agreed upon password to indicate when I think it's necessary for him to die. I'm certain that he'll begin preparations for a battle as soon as he sees me coming, and when I say the phrase, all hell will break loose."

Kijani raised her eyebrows, not sure what to think about that. She was questioning Anthony's motives in things, now, but... there wasn't much she could do at the moment. "I see. Could this confrontation not wait until I get my powers back? Are we on a time limit? Or are you just using the momentum of the discovery to get things done?" Perhaps the longer they waited, the more likely it would be that someone would lose their nerve.

Kijani shook her head at his question. "No. Never was in a situation where I had to. I know how to. In theory, I mean." She shrugged. "I suppose the mental preparation will have to be doubled. Do you expect me to have to kill someone?"

Kijani nodded, and picked up the sandwich, taking a healthy bite. "Three days? What should I prepare?" She should be at the end of her punishment by then. Maybe she could also swipe a sword from class. If things went well, she could return it before it was missed.

Kijani snorted lightly. "Considering she's from another planet, she may be the only one of our classmates who doesn't know the name 'Luthor'. Try it, then." She paused, her eyes flicking down to the sandwich. "If you're not going to eat it, let me have it."

I can't yet stop telepaths from invading my mind, but I recognize the sensation now, no matter how subtle, and can completely change my train of though instantaneously, blocking them from any useful information. Now, back to the matter at hand. She seems to have gone through a change that took away her telepathy and perhaps strengthened her powers."

Kijani just smiled. "Anthony, if and when I decide to do something bad to you, I'm not going to offer it to you on a plate. Though, perhaps I may. Once you let up the paranoia for five minutes and eat the damn sandwich, and not die, you won't see it coming a second time." Her smile became slightly more wolfish. "But yes, on the matter at hand. If she's not a telepath anymore- if you deem her able to be trusted, I'll unfortunately have to go with your judgement. I don't know her, and I'm not sure I care to. Besides, I've been quite the little bitch to her, so... I do wonder what you could do to convince her to work with us."
