After tossing and turning for hours, Kijani dressed for the day. There were dark circles under her eyes- two days in one week that she hadn't slept? It was going to make her grow old early. Oh well- she'd just have to drink coffee. She snatched up her things and headed out to the cafeteria. In the doorway, she scanned the wide room for Connor.

Devika managed to get up and toss on some gym clothes. She went to the gym, remembering how to get the treadmill going and jogging for a while. It was tiring, and she was tempted to call it quits around the 20 minute mark. But she struggled through, her chest burning when the treadmill timer read half an hour. "That's... *huff* good enough..." She slowed it down enough to climb off, and sat tiredly on the ground.

Oh yes lol, I started reading them in February, and have been waiting to use Chlorofend since I came across it in the books lol. I think I'm up to the six one, took a break to read the squeal to a book I loved.

*goes to look up which one is the 6th one* Blood Rites is okay... But Dead Beat is awesome! ^_^ I won't spoil it besides to say it's my favorite book so far.

Also, I must rest.

Also also- once you're done with Dresden, check out Butcher's older series: The Codex Alera. Completely different style, but still excellent! I'm hooked. It's also much shorter, only 6 books.

Kijani would have retorted with two points, that it wasn't an assumption, but a theory based on fact- and also that she didn't think he was bad. In fact, she thought he was composed, intelligent, and ruthless. Some people equivocated that with being a bad person. She didn't. She thought it was better than being good, and weak for that goodness. She kept it to herself, though. Anthony had enough of a swelled head without her adding air. She walked to the car and slid in the backseat, leaning her head against the soft black leather. She shut her eyes, and didn't wake up until they were back at the Academy. Thanking the driver, she exited and went straight to her dorm.

It was a lucky thing that she slept in the car- no rest would be had tonight.
