Jinny nodded, very carefully holding the gun in her hands like she had been taught. "Okay, Mr. Josh." She smiled in a nervous way. She didn't want anything to happen. Honestly, she'd had enough excitement to fill a week. But that didn't mean she would just relax while Mr. Josh and Mr. Richard did all the hard work. She wasn't going to be a useless orphan anymore.

Richard's eyebrows went up, as he watched Josh hand his young companion a gun. He wasn't sure how he felt about that. On the one hand, she was just a kid. She shouldn't have to shoot. But on the other hand, she was just a kid, and in a dangerous place. Better that she could defend herself rather than have to be vulnerable. Right?

Another "End of the World" Role-play [ReLoAdEd]

Name: Jinayah Ifriti
Age: 10
Gender: Female
Sexuality: She's 10 and still thinks sex is gross.

Appearance: Jinny is small and skinny, and looks like an 8 year old. She has dark skin, and black hair that's sort of dry and tangled. Her eyes are deep, deep black, a product of her mutation. They seem to suck in light, but not shine it back.
Mutation(s): Jinny's eyes are very sensitive to light. In full daylight, she can be rendered blind if she ventures out without her goggles. Even on a less sunny day, she'll be squinting and in a bit of pain. But the benefit of her mutation comes at night: with the benefit of a light source as small as a flashlight, Jinny can see for several feet in front of her, as if it were a moderately sunny day. This has kept her safe, as she can move and hunt while most people are asleep. During the day, she wears a pair of covered goggles and tries to find somewhere safe to relax.
Weapon(s): Hunting Knife.
Gear: Large backpack, strips of roast rat meat, nuts, bolts and other mechanical tidbits, mini tool set, multitool (aka Swiss Army knife)
