Jinny's eyes lit up with delight, like the child she was. She dipped the tip of her eating knife into the gooey red jelly. She licked the knife clean and smacked her lips appreciatively. "It's... some sort of berry, right? It's real sweet. I like it." She carefully replaced the lid of the jelly jar tightly and stood up, carefully handing it to him. "Thank you." She paused, wondering what she could offer in return. "Uhm... I stole some deer jerky from the kitchen. A whole lot of it." She poked around in her pack before handing him several long strands of thick brown dried meat. "It's sorta salty but you can chew it forever."

Kijani shook his hand firmly. "Yeah, that's me. Nice to meet you, Ben." His face was vaguely familiar to her. She'd probably been seeing him in the background without actually acknowledging him. "Don't worry about the sleeping, I feel the same way about math. I mean, I'm sure it has it's uses, but... it's just bland."

Kijani smiled and turned to Ben, chuckling. "I'm guessing history wasn't really your speed." She was speaking in a nice low voice, to not disturb Sue. Then she gestured to the side of Ben's face. "You got a bit of drool, right there."

Kijani sat through the lecture, calmly and rapidly taking notes. She'd never been taught history from a broad point of view. Most, if not all, of the history she'd had in school was American or Euro-centric. This was something different, and she found that she liked it. She turned to Sue with a ready smile. "Want... lunch?" She signed, and started to put her things away.

No problem, that's fine. I didn't know everyone was going to history when I wrote my post. We can say she has Ancient Weapons later.
