Below is a list of some previous campers. This is not all of the characters that have left (due to writers leaving or ghosting), but these are ones that are likely to come up in conversation or have had large impacts on other characters or the story. This is a resource for new joining writers to reference and get a better grasp of what has happened throughout the life of the RP over the past 10 years (this baby is old lol).

^{Disclaimer : With our old site dying, I lost access to the more detailed history of what happened the first year of camp. I'm going to do my best to recall the major things that happened or any events that could pop up in conversation. Luckily, the more obscure things probably won't come up. But, as always, feel free to ask us anything if you need clarity.}

^{▹ . Ajax was bitten by a venomous snake sent by Hades. Andy sucks the poison from his wound.
▹ . A minotaur attacked camp, Andy jumped on its back and Mason used his abilities to subdue the beast without killing it.
▹ . At a beach party, Alex kissed Wes in an attempt to make Duke and Trinity jealous.
▹ . Jennova gave Hades Ajax’s location, resulting in him being kidnapped and taken to the underworld.
▹ . Alex, wanting to free her brother, went to Andy for help who enlisted Mason’s help (reluctantly) to get them into the underworld. Once there, Andy traded herself for Ajax.
▹ . Ajax returned to camp without a soul, promptly sleeping with 2 random campers. ( 2 miscellaneous unnamed NPC girls)
▹ . Andy was kept in the underworld, for a day roughly, and was tortured by Hades.
▹ . Mason snuck back into the underworld to free Andy, earning his father’s anger in the process.
▹ . A hydra attacked camp and was taken down together.
▹ . Mason and Trinity were sent away from camp to try and get help from other demigods for the upcoming war.
▹ . Alex killed Jennova, while Mason was gone, after finding out she helped Hades kidnap Ajax.
▹ . The war came to camp. Hades sent minions and giants to camp to fight the demigods. While they won the war, Wes lost his right arm and Daniel was killed in the battle.}

Camp Athens .|. the second year

^{▹ . The first part of the year was more chill with parties and some training exercises. But nothing really major of note.
▹ . Daniel arrived back at camp, somehow not dead. But went by Keith, with no memory of ever being Daniel.
▹ . Alex was put on trial in Olympus for killing Jennova. Multiple demigods spoke as character witnesses for and against Alex. In the end she was found innocent.
▹ . Tensions at camp rose. Multiple fights broke out, feuds grew, and relationships reached their breaking point.

▹ . A beach party and a game of 7 minutes in heaven raised tempers to their breaking point. Alex attacked Andy, starting a fight. When the fight was over Alex struck Andy with lightning as her

▹ . campers undergo “trials” as a form of punishment. In these trials, each camper had to enter a simulation of sorts, created by Hecate, and face their worse fears in front of the entire camp.
▹ . Following the trails, Poseidon sent his son, Nick, to camp to get them back on track by leading and training them.
▹ . Nick led the campers in a training exercise sparring against one another.
▹ . Sloane was sent a package from her mother, Eris, that she left for Sylas. When it was accidentally opened it unleashed countless monsters, beasts, and horrors upon camp. A majority of

. A B I L I T I E S magic - This covers a large array of capabilities such as: telekinesis, conjuring and even some reality manipulation. She tends to lean more into telekinesis and conjuration but has been trying to strengthen her magic to its fullest potential. medium - Some Hecate children are able to speak to the dead. From a young age Andy could, before she even knew she was. Spirits can't cross camp borders, but outside of camp she sees them all. S T R E N G T H S combat - Growing up an army brat, Andy quickly learned how to fight. Then once she join the camp, she continued to further strengthen her skills. stamina - Andy has a lot of drive and energy to just go, go, go. She may get tired but pays no mind to it. Her philosophy is she can rest when she's dead. agile - Flexible and quick, she can move dodge and outrun a lot of others. Of course, not those enhanced by their demigod abilities, but she can usually keep up with most others. W E A K N E S S E S strength - Andy is fairly strong, but by no means can she compare to most others at camp. Thankfully most combat isn't based on brute force. If a battle needed to be won by an arm wrestle, she wouldn't be the choice. defense - Attack, attack, attack, is how her mind works. She's a very offensive fighter trying to take them down before she has to defend herself, so, her defenses aren't the best. selfless - She's never been one to put her own well being first. Just ask the other campers about some of the things she's went through... Her own well being is last in her mind. __________________________________________________________________________________ P E R S O N A L I T Y passionate .... | .... brave .... | .... playful .... | .... stubborn H I S T O R Y Andy was born in Moscow, Russia on an American army base. It was hard enough growing up with a Marine Lieutenant for a father, never stationary for more than a year. But it just made things worse that her mother disappeared shortly after her birth. Andy grew up an army brat, which isn't a rare thing but all the other children thought she was strange and stayed away from her. Andy's father told her that her mother wasn't human and didn't belong on our earth, so of course when she was young she believed it. And when the other children asked her why her mother wasn't around, that was her answer. So it was easy for the other kids to think she was crazy between the tales she shared of her mother and her abundance of "imaginary friends." As she grew older Andy really started to believe she was crazy, and her father made her feel like he was egging on her insanity. He would tell her someday she would save the world, that she was more powerful than any mortal... Mortal? He made her sound like she wasn't human. Maybe she wasn't, her only friends were people that no one else could see, and when she was alone... she could do things... things that weren't normal. When she was 16, Andy was more in her head than in reality, and her father finally began to agree that she wasn't stable, and had started debated about sending her away to an institution until she was better. One night when Andy went to visit her father she over heard him having a conversation in his cabin on a aircraft carrier. She waited outside the door, ear pressed up against the cold metal. It wasn't for nearly an hour until her father said, "You gave birth to her, but you haven't been a mother to her!" Upon hearing that Andy pushed aside any amount of decency and barged through the door to find inside an ethereal woman. She was gorgeous, eyes and hair like... like Andy's, her body emitting a feint light and she wore... a toga? She thought it all was a joke, or maybe her insanity, she couldn't tell anymore. But after a very long night of talking with her "mother" she realized she wasn't crazy at all, but to the eyes of any regular person she'd seem completely delusional. She didn't want to believe it all. It would be easier to accept that she was crazy and her mother abandoned her, but that wasn't the truth no matter how much she wanted to fight it. Ever since that night her mother, Hecate, promised to come visit or check up on her as much as she possible but... there was a stipulation to reappearance in Andy's life. She was sent to Camp Athens to live among other people like her, who were also children of a God. But Andy still resented her mother’s absence in her life up until that point. No matter though, her first year at camp she saw her mother… twice maybe three times in total. Over her first year at camp so much happened to Andy, from helping take down a minotaur, being trapped and tortured in the Underworld and fighting along side the other campers in a battle for their lives. But it was the after math of the battle that finally made her want nothing to do with her mother ever again. In the heat of the war, Andy entrusted her wounded and dying brother to Hecate… Only to be told he died in her care. Devastated, angry and heart broken she wants absolutely nothing to do with her mother. And to most that was always their dream to grow up with tons of money and parents who didn't seem to give 2 shits about what he did. Scratch that... parent. His father, Jacob Preston, was one of the most sought-after defense attorneys in the nation. Jacob could make serial killers come up as innocent in court. The made him a high demand lawyer, with a substantial amount of income. Being a lawyer, his dad was always very distant and cold towards Wes, leaving him to be raised by nannies and maids due to the absence of his mother. Ever since he was little, Wes always had a knack for getting into trouble because it always seemed to be the only way to get his father's attention. On a regular basis he would skip classes to go meet up with girls or cause trouble throughout the town. By age 16 he had been arrested twice and every cop in the district knew his name. But Wes didn't mind the attention, in fact he loved it whenever all eyes were on him. His new bad boy reputation also made him begin to get even more affection from the ladies… Compared the large amount he was already getting when he still dressed in the expensive clothes his father bought him. Wesley would be rather wearing a leather jacket, and a pair of torn jeans, driving an old model car or motorcycle, instead of the $1000 suits and Mercedes his father tried to buy him. Although Wesley was a very intelligent kid in school, he ended up flunking out due to his numerous absences and his lack of attention or discipline. When his father found out that Wes wasn't going to be able to go to Yale like he did, he was furious. He no longer wanted his son in his house hold let alone anywhere near him. So, Jacob finally decided to sit Wes done and tell him the true story about his mother. Obviously, Wesley did not believe a single thing his father said, until Aphrodite herself appeared in their living room. She said that she had been trying since Wes was a kid to get his father to send him to the camp where he would be "safe." Since his father no longer wanted anything to do with him, Aphrodite took the opportunity when she could. It was apparent that his parents no longer got along, but as to the history that passed between them, Wesley would never find out. All he could tell was that his father had been keeping him from his mom all these years, and even though Wes felt a little old to be going to a camp. He accepted the opportunity to get away from his ungrateful dad and possibly one day get to know his mother better. As if his life wasn’t already being flipped upside down, everything changed when he came to camp. For the first time in Wes’ life, it was just about him. He didn’t have to fight to get attention, because everyone there was special in their own way. He had friends… People always either wanted in his wallet or pants, never taking the chance to get to know the man beneath. He finally knew what it was like to be wanted somewhere… And it changed everything about him. His prerogative changed from selfish to selfless, and his narcissistic shell faded to a compassionate teddy bear. She can create, shape and manipulate the chaotic forces in the universe, allowing them to manipulate probability emotion manipulation - She can manipulate the emotions of others bringing negative feelings to the surface and making them grow stronger. She cannot put false emotion in someone's mind, just warp and heightened an already present emotion. invoke violence - With heightening negative emotions, Sloane invoke others into severe anger or rage, and cause mass violence and discord. compulsion - With direct physical contact, Sloane can compel others to do as she wishes. This is not indefinite. The results are immediate or, if it is a command, with wear off after several hours. If she is emotionally charged enough, she can do this with just her words but it is very uncommon and not as strong. warp perceived reality - Sloane is proficient in warping the reality others perceive. It's not changing the world around them or altering reality, but simple manipulates the senses in a way that people think something else is happening. S T R E N G T H S mental combat - Through her superior skill and control over her abilities, Sloane can fight most battles with her mind. She rarely, if at all, has the need to wield a weapon. unreadble - It takes a skilled person to know what is going on behind her facade. Sloane is very good at hiding her emotions. She doesn't allow her facial expressions to give away her thoughts or feelings, so it is difficult to know if she is being sincere, lying or anything else. He grew up in a household of wealth, potential and promise. The world was his oyster and he knew it. It wasn’t long into his adult life before he turned his attention towards the world of politics. What better way for the scum of the earth to rise to the top and even get support. Once at the top, he’d have so much power that he’d be untouchable. And it didn’t take him long get to a strong foot hold in the Russian government. As Vladislav grew more predominant in the Russian government, he caught the attention of a particular Goddess. As it’s usually said, everything else is history. It was safe to say that Vladislav was not ready when told Eris was pregnant with not only one… But two children. After all, what better chaos would there be than bringing children into the world for a man who wanted nothing to do with a family or kids. To say Vladislav was a horrible father is putting it lightly. Sloane could count the times on one hand that she actually had a meal with her father. They were more for his political gain than anything else. He’d take them to press conferences, play the part of loving father over his children that tragically lost their mother. But absent in their home life… Or at least for Sloane. "There’s no place in politics for a girl." That’s what she was taught. Vladislav took Sylas everywhere with him, teaching him the in’s and out’s from a very young age. And when their father was tired of hearing Sloane beg to come too… He reached out to Eris. Sylas was to be the heir to the dynasty Vladislav was fighting so hard to create, while Sloane would be shipped off to her mother to become Eris’ own prodigy. For years, Sloane was her mother’s shadow. Eris was never one for having demigod children… Or children at all for that matter. But the prospect of having a mini version of herself to cause havoc where ever she wasn’t, was enticing to her. So, she trained Sloane long and hard, helping her perfect all of the abilities she was gifted with. But even with her mother there was no love there. It was the relationship of a master and an apprentice, not of mother and daughter. By the time Sloane was a young adult, her mother said she had learned all that she could be taught. A master of chaos manipulation and all that entails, Eris was ready to unleash her daughter on the world and feed from the strife she’d cause. It was at that time that Sloane’s parents decided to send Sylas and Sloane to Camp Athens. To the media it was for their own safety because the life of a political leader is never safe. But the twins both new it was to get them out of their parents’ hair. For the first times in Sloane’s life she’s been left to be her own person alongside her brother, who was raised to be everything she isn’t. As if their family life wasn’t difficult enough already, they have to hurdle the battle that is their own relationship, and their interactions with those around them. And for Sloane that means truly learning how be part of society, which is something she’s had little to no exposure with. Whenever he is emotional, it seems to ooze from him into those around him without his knowledge or control. emotion manipulation - Of all of his abilities, this is the one that he excels the most at. He is able to extort negative emotions in another and amplify them slowly, without the other's knowledge. invoke violence - Sylas does not use this ability as much as one would think. Instead, he prefers to effect the repressed emotions, letting them boil to the surface and evolve however they may. compulsion - Similar to his sister, Sylas can compel others to do as he pleases. He also needs physical touch to accomplish this, but isn't as powerful as Sloane so her compulsions can overpower his and he cannot do it without physical contact. warp perceived reality - Sylas has effectively done this only a handful of times in his life, and struggles with it greatly. Instead, he usually relies on Sloane to do this for him. S T R E N G T H S deception - No one realizes it when he is doing it, and no one ever will. Sylas has an entire persona that makes him seem as simple and ordinary as the other gents at camp. combat - With an expensive education, Sylas was educated in the art of fencing and martial arts. Even though he is lanky, he can pack quite the punch and hold his own in battle. manipulation - Sylas can mold people like putty in his hands. He reads micro movements like a book. His sensory knowledge of others emotions guides him, allowing him to say and do the perfect things to get people to bend to his desires. W E A K N E S S E S sloane - Not in the way that you'd expect. Being Eris's favorite yet having an over all neutrality in chaotic arts holds him back. If he can't keep her in check then she will surpass him. his emotions - Unlike Sloane, Sylas doesn't have the poise or control over himself, his abilities or emotions. Whenever he gets more emotional his abilities go haywire and emit from him into those around him, causing their own negative emotions to rise. his ego - Sylas was raised with the image in his head to follow in his father's footsteps, someday taking up the mantle of ruling over Russia. He's been raised with an inflated self esteem, sense of purpose and ego. He has always respected and looked up to his father like he was a God among men. After all, he did win the heart of Goddess. It takes a spectacle of a man to garner that kind of attention for his achievements. A politician with eye for what the world could be like. Some saw him as a tyrant, others a visionary. Typical in relationships with Gods, she was left with her father to be raised, and for the most part that was the end of their relationship. That was until about a year later when Athena showed back up in William’s life. It didn’t take much time for her to be pregnant again. He has great control and finesse with this power, and it is without a doubt his greatest skill. Recently he's been practicing drawing on the water in creatures, but this is difficult to test without the risk of harming or killing. water breathing - Is a passive skill that comes with being Poseidon's child. His control over this is similar to regular breathing. He could hold his breath if he chose to, but never saw the need. seismic manipulation - On a small scale, River can create tremors and earthquakes. Mostly he'd use this to knock an opponent off balance for an advantage. He does not has as much control over this has been known to cause tremors when he is more emotional, especially angry. speak with fish & equine - He has no desire to talk to them, so he lets Ocean handle that. If he is submerged in water he can slowly heal, but he is unable to heal others and it's unknown if it work fast enough to help mortal wounds. He's rather not test that. He has a black belt in several forms of martial arts which he has infused with his psychokinesis to create an effortless style of fighting that is uniquely his own. honest - While the truth can hurt and not always be what people want to hear, River is not one to lie or manipulate. He's very straightforward and blunt. Lies are a waist of time and complicated. intimidating - He has a naturally intimidating presence between his cold expression and generally stoic nature. It was surprising that she caught Poseidon’s attention, but what did seem out of the ordinary was that the God was so infatuated that he had not one, but two children with the mortal woman. First was River and then Ocean, their mom must have thought she was a comedian with those names. No doubt it’ll definitely get some comments at camp. The siblings grew up hearing stories about the Greek Gods from their mother and once their abilities started blooming, River couldn’t help but start putting together some of the pieces. His powers presented themselves earlier than they did for Ocean, and through great determination he managed to keep them well enough in control to get through school. But once Ocean was pulled out because of her accident, River started homeschooling with her. Since he was a couple years older, he’d help her with her school work and when they were done they’d train until the sun went down. River can’t fully explain why he trained them both so hard, maybe it was a gut feeling telling him that they’d need to know this someday. He had been surfing and taking martial arts classes since he was able to walk, and now he felt like it was his job to try and teach Ocean what he knew. He knew he was hard on her, maybe he expected her to be a natural like him, but he wouldn’t always be there to protect her. She needed to know how to protect herself. When he was fifteen, Poseidon showed up for the first time. Their father brought her a trident, and while River would never admit it, he was jealous. He had been training longer and harder than her, yet she was given a weapon of the Gods. That jealousy that festered in him only made River fight stronger when their father trained them. It was only once a year, but he spent the other 364 days practicing ruthlessly to be better the next time he returned. It had been nine years since Poseidon first showed up in their lives when he appeared at their home. Normally when he came to train it was in the middle of the summer, but this time it was winter, shortly before Christmas. He told them of a special camp just for demigods and how he wanted to send them there to help keep things in order. Apparently they had two half siblings sent there to do the same that were killed during some accident. Poseidon wouldn’t explain further, only that he wanted River to go lead these campers, to be his eyes and ears. . A B I L I T I E S healing - Tapeesa's true skill and mastery is in the art of medicine. While she had a natural talent before coming into her abilities, she is quite proficient in magical healing. Most of her practice has been non-life-threatening such as cuts and broken bones, but she is fairly confident, if fast enough, she could contain most ailments. Her own injuries heal faster than the average person. Unless they are severe, she rarely pays them any mind knowing it will be healed within a day or two. photokinesis - She does not have much practice or control in when it comes to controlling light. With focus Tapeesa can create small glow orbs of light or turn lights on and off. When she is emotional lights around her, electrical or natural, have been known to flicker, dim or brighten depending on how intense her emotions are. marksmanship - Like any child of Apollo, she has a natural ability to hit a target. Although for Tapeesa this is usually getting her paper ball in the trashcan on the first shot or the delicate needlework necessary for stitches or beaded jewelry. She's never held a weapon other than a knife, which was most definitely not used for violent purposes. S T R E N G T H S herbalism - Growing up her mother's shadow, Tapeesa has always shown a strong interest in plants and their various properties, especially medicinally. She has spent most of her growing life reading up on all the ways plants can be used for medicines, poisons, and everything in between. musician - Since a young child, she was deeply immersed in her family's culture. Her grandfather taught her how to play the tautirut, even giving her his own instrument before he passed. And her mother taught her the art of kataqjjaq, Inuit throat singing, which they often did on cold winter days while sitting around the fire. While her family has long since passed, Tapeesa still finds comfort in playing her tautirut or kataqjjaq, even if she cannot do it properly alone. Music has been a way to keep her family with her through life. resourceful - With a majority of her childhood being spent in an orphanage, Tapeesa rarely had money or the means to do many things. This helped her learn the skills to think quickly on her feet and find solutions to any challenges she found herself facing. W E A K N E S S E S conflict - It's been said there isn't a mean bone in Tapeesa's body. Arguments and fighting often make her shut down or pull away rather than humor the possibility of upsetting someone or hurting another. This gotten her called a doormat on more than one occasion. The few times where she has stood her ground was on someone else's behalf. It is rare that she stands up for herself. altruistic - Anyone who knows her knows how Tapeesa always puts others before herself. She's often seen as a big sister to everyone in her life. Her own happiness and well being is an after thought. She can focus on herself once everyone else is taken care of. trusting - She takes everything at face value. She has zero skill when it comes to lying and has never felt the need to be dishonest. Because of this she assumes others are equally as honest. She was raised in a rich Inuit, learning about her ancestors and their way of life. While her father worked hard providing for their family and was rarely home when she was a child, her mother did everything with Ahnah by her side. Her mother had become a reliable healer to the local community. Like a little shadow she followed her mother around the city on house calls and helped her mix her various herbs and poultices. She was a natural. Together the mother and daughter helped those in need whether because they couldn’t afford doctors or they just preferred holistic medicine. After the passing of her mother when she was a teen, Ahnah took up the reins and continued her mothers work. Following High School she wanted to further her knowledge and became the first person in her family to ever go to college. She traveled across the country to the University of Toronto where she began her study to become a nurse. That’s where she met him, Apollo. He looked like any other college student at the time, young, vibrant, with golden blond hair and a handsome face. He was nothing like the men back home and she was nothing like other women he had met. They bonded over their shared passion for the power of healing and desire to help others. Apollo would read her poetry and Ahnah would teach him Inuit music. Their romance might not have lasted long, but there was a lifetime’s worth of love and knowledge shared between them. It was right before her graduation that Apollo told her the truth of who he was. Perhaps it was because she was taught about Gods, although Inuit not Greek, most of her life or that she never had a reason to believe he was lying to her, but Ahnah believed him. It broke her heart to say good-bye but who was she to keep a God to herself? Shortly after returning home from college was when she discovered she was pregnant. Of course there were rumors and whispers that spread throughout the small city. Even in the 21st century people still liked to talk when a woman got pregnant outside of wedlock. But Ahnah couldn’t have been happier. She got a job as a nurse at the Qikiqtani General Hospital and eight months later she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in the middle of a snow storm. Her little arctic flower. Her Tapeesa. While they were not a wealthy household, Tapeesa grew up wanting for nothing. She spent her days learning to play the tautirut and tended the garden with her grandfather. During the evenings she’d sit in the kitchen with her mom as she taught her kataqjjaq while cooking dinner. It often ended in accidental spitting and giggles, they just made sure not to sing near the food. But the weekends were her favorite. Her mom would take her around the city as she made various housecalls, still practicing the same holistic medicine her mother before her did. Tapeesa wished she could have met her grandmother. Everytime her mom did something new, she explained every step to her and shared the story of how her own mother taught her. It felt like secret family magic being passed down from one daughter to another. Growing up, Tapeesa always asked about her father and while her mom never lied to her, she never shared the whole truth either. She would share pictures, his poetry, and stories of their time together. But Ahnah kept the truth of him being a god secret, only sharing that he was special and had to leave so he could help others like she tried to do. It made her sad not to know him, but she was lucky to have her grandfather who filled that role in her life. She was his little Snowdrop and he’d move the heavens to make her happy. To her eyes, Tapeesa’s life was perfect. That was until she was eight. One night in the dead of winter, Tapeesa’s mom was called into the hospital to help a woman in labor. It had been blizzarding for days which was nothing unusual for Iqaluit. She prepared the family snowmobile, as she usually did during the more severe snowstorms and headed to work. Tapeesa and her grandfather were none the wiser, assuming she made it to work like she always had. But several hours later they received a call. Ahnah was in an accident and had died. The following two years were rough in the Nanuq household. Tapeesa, still being young, took awhile to come to terms with the fact that her mother was no longer around. It often resulted in emotional outbursts and fits that ended in both her and her grandfather in tears. With her grandfather no longer able to work and showing early signs of dementia, they struggled to make ends meet. There were several scares that she might be taken away from her grandfather, but the people of the town that her mother and mother’s mother had helped banded together to keep a roof over their heads and food in their bellies. But eventually the dementia took her grandfather and with no other next of kin, Tapeesa was sent to an orphanage in Toronto. Being one of the older children in the home, Tapeesa quickly realized that her chances at being adopted were slim. On one hand she liked the possibility of a new home and family, but her mother and grandfather couldn’t be replaced. They were her true family and she didn’t want another one. Unlike some of the other children who never knew a family, she wasn’t saddened at the thought of not being adopted. Instead she looked after the younger kids like a big sister, helping them learn, grow, and know what it was like to be loved. It wasn’t until she was a teenager that her powers started manifesting. Tapeesa can’t recall a single moment where she noticed she could do things that she couldn’t quite explain. As the pseudo big sister to so many little kids, she was always helping dress small scrapes and kiss boo-boos. Over a handful of months she started realizing that wounds she tended were healing faster than they should be. Then a deep gash in her knee was nonexistent the next day. The more she paid attention to it, the more supernatural it seemed. She had no explanation for it. Maybe the skill her family had as healers was more than a skill? But that didn’t explain why it was different for her. She could recall her mom having stitches that seemed to take ages to heal, but when she broke a finger she was fine in a couple days. Then there was the light. Whenever Tapeesa was emotional, the lights seemed to pulse. The room would get darker when she was sad and when she laughed it felt like the sun was faintest bit brighter. She couldn’t explain any of it, but she knew she wasn’t crazy. She never told a soul about what she could do, or at least what she thought she could do. While all the other orphans were asleep Tapeesa would practice, curious what she could and couldn’t do. No matter how hard she tried, the most she could accomplish with light was a small floating orb or turning lamps on and off. But with healing… The more she tried the more she could accomplish. For a brief time she inflicted some gruesome wounds on herself only to see them heal faster each time. By the time she aged out of the orphanage system she had grown an impeccable control that she had to learn to pace herself when helping others to not arouse suspicion. Often turning to herbalism with a little of her own special help so people just thought she had a special way with plants. Tapeesa had nowhere to go when she aged out, but the begging of the kids and the orphanage growing accustomed to her aid, offered her a job. It didn’t pay much. She barely could afford a studio apartment but the orphanage kept her fed and she loved her job. That was her life for just over a year, when one night there was a knock on her door. On the other side was the spitting image of a photograph her mother gave her many years ago. He was a young, vibrant man, with golden blond hair and a handsome face, who hadn’t aged a day. ......................................................................................................................... T H E . O U T B R E A K Mullen, Nebraska. A tiny town in the middle of nowhere. A place where everyone knew everyone and nothing interesting or different ever happened. The residents of the small town were going about their normal days when the announcement came. There was a breakthrough in medical technology that could cure all diseases and ailments. Those who were sick or dying looked to this new medicine as a miracle, something that no one ever thought possible. People from around the world rushed to treatment facilities. The lines were so long, people waited in queues for days just to be put on a waiting list. For a couple months, the miraculous healing power of this new medicine spread throughout the world like wildfire. Even in a place like Mullen, people heard of the magic cure. And even the rare few were lucky enough to receive it… Or, so they thought. A couple months later, September 23rd, it happened. The airwaves were hijacked. Broadcasted throughout the town, the country… Maybe even the world has the same message. Side effects of the cure were becoming prominent. After an incubation period, the cure attacked the host, infecting them with a new and unknown virus. This disease was making people go crazy, causing them to attack others in primal ways. They said everything was fine, a prescription would solve it and tests were being done. But what people in the little town of Mullen didn’t hear about was the gravity of the situation. Marshall Law was enforced, resorting to extreme measures to contain and destroy the outbreak. They quarantined cities, evacuated or executed recipients of the cure and worked endlessly to find a vaccine to counteract the rapidly spreading virus. That’s when it consumed everything. It happened so quickly that the small town was blind and had no clue what was coming. Due to its isolation, the town’s people had no idea about the terrors this medicine had brought upon the world. News took too long to travel to Mullen, and unfortunately for the residents there, the infection traveled quicker. It was swift and quiet, working its way through the main part of town going from store to store, throughout the church, schools and then eventually made its way to the farms… Within a matter of hours everyone in the town was infected. A F T E R M A T H It has been 24 hours since the outbreak, and every single person in Mullen was infected with the disease. But there are some… who aren’t mindless zombies… A handful of the townspeople woke up after being infected, seeming completely fine. But they have no memories of who they are or what happened to them before they blacked out from the virus. Now that they’ve awakened, they search the town for others that possibly survived too... others who are also immune. But being immune only means the survivors can’t get infected. It doesn’t mean the zombies don’t notice their existence. While fighting for their lives they quickly learn that they aren’t normal. The virus has bonded with their cells and gave them strange abilities and that zombies aren’t the only ones that want to kill them.

I'm Mjolnir, or MJ has some have grown to call me. She/her in my 30s. I'm newer to this RP after my last site of over a decade died. My longstanding RP partner recently ghosted so I'm hoping to find someone to do long term 1x1s or small group RPs with. I'll do my best to describe my expectations desires and what I write like to help people know if we'd maybe be a good match. As always, if you have any questions let me know :)

• 18 + just to be on the safe side
• Please, please no ghosting - Just talk to me. If you need to tap out or take a break I'll understand. Just communicate with me.
• Moderate to advanced writers - Quality over quantity, but I'd like someone in the same ballpark of writing skill as myself. Here and here are good examples of my writing. You're also welcome to look through my post history or my RP to get an idea for my characters and writing style.
• Multi-paragraph to novella length - For a single character I usually write around a 5 paragraph minimum but depending on what's going on and the complexity of the situation, I've been known to write 1000+ word posts.
• Posting speed - I'm very flexible with posting speed. Life happens. Sometimes I'm super excited and start writing immediately and sometimes it can take me a week or two to find the time. I can be very patient, just let me know.
• Characters - I like playing multiple characters in a RP, usually 2 minimum, but I've played on the upwards of 8 before. I don't expect someone to like playing that many characters, but I'd like someone who is comfortable playing more than a singular character. I like playing a variety of characters, usually a mix of female and male, so similar in a partner would be nice. I'd rather not be stuck playing all one gender, but I'm flexible depending on what we discuss. (no self inserts, please)
• Plot / story before romance - I don't want RPs that are just about romance. I love romance and I'm a big advocate for our characters falling in love, but I don't want it being the central plot. I like everything happening organically, so I usually avoid pre-planned romances. My characters go where the chemistry is. If romance happens in the story cool, if not, also cool. But I don't want an RP that's solely romance focused.
• Smut flexible - I've never been much of a smut writer, so I definitely don't want an RP that's just ERP. I'm open to pursuing in depth sexual content if it makes sense for the story. But I'm also totally fine with a sexy build up and fade to black. We can talk about it and figure out our comfort zones.
• Adult content - I am an adult and enjoy adult content. Violence, cussing, sex, drugs... All of it is fine with me. I have no triggers and I'm open to most things if it makes sense for the story. I am not a smut writer, so while I like the darker themes, I don't have any desire to indulge other's in their darker fetishes or ERP desires. I'm fine with most things for the sake of the story, but I'm here for collaborative storytelling, not written porn.

....................................................	..........	. . . The Gods predate man. Their reign powerful, eternal and revered. But since the dawn of the Gods, there have always been those sworn to end Olympus. The golden throne, the seat of the righteous, king of the Gods, Zeus. It is the core of their world. Many seek to destroy it, dethrone Zeus and end the reign of the Gods. Camp Athens, a safe place for demigods, children of the Gods. A place for them to live, grow and train. That was the intent. The demigods were never supposed to be the warriors for the Gods. Their parents wanted them to grow up safe from the world that threatens to end them. But the ruler of the Underworld, Hades, sought after the golden throne for himself, the demigods had no choice but to fight. The campers faced many trials that tested them on levels far greater than they ever imaged. It was but the first day of the summer, demigods flooding into the camp, when a minotaur stormed its way through. A distraction while a son of Zeus, Ajax, was stabbed by an Underworld blade and poisoned. When things seemed to die down, it was only the quiet before the storm. Ajax was later taken prisoner by Hades, only set free when his soul was taken from him in exchange for a daughter of Hecate. And all the while, when some of the most powerful demigods were nowhere to be found, the rest of the campers had to band together to take down their toughest foe… A Hydra. Then there was death… at the hands of a God and at the hands of a daughter of Zeus. It seemed, when at their weakest, Hades attacked. The war. Something the demigods had been preparing for, but never thought would come. Giants and minions flooded their way onto the grounds of camp. The Gods stood side by side with their children in a fight for Olympus. It tested them more than anything had before… And in the end, they succeeded. But not without great loss. Wounded, weak and broken, the demigods came together victorious. It’s been a year since that war. New demigods have found their way to the camp. The heroes of the war found ways to cope with their losses and train harder. Although the war is over, no one can rest. Something lurks in the distance, like a storm on the horizon. They don’t know what it is or when it will come… But they must be ready.

We are loyal and will stick with this RP through thick and thin. I am aware that it has a lot of similarities to the Percy Jackson universe, but there are a lot of differences too.   • _{Characters should be 18 or older.}
  • _{No one is perfect, make sure your character has flaws.}
  • _{I prefer the use of a RL faceclaim, preferably one with a decent amount of photos/image options that can be used for character section of the RP, edits, etc.}
• _{Posting speed tends to vary, life happens and people get busy.}
  
  • _{Ideally we strive for one post a week per writer, per character even better but not necessary.}
