@Ebonsquire this was actually something I've been debating! The island is definitely floating over the larger world, but it's entirely self sustainable without need to venture down. People have and do go to the surface, of course, but it's so wild and untamed compared to the island that nobody bothers with it.

The star will crash into the surface, below the island and a distance away.

Whether or not there are other functioning civilizations between here and there is what I've been considering. If you guys prefer wilderness and ruins, that makes things easier! Any other preferences?

Also, if anyone else wants to find a cool pet or familiar, let me know! We're gonna do a thing.

There's no rush at all you guys! This rp will eventually slow way down, so I see no reason to leave anybody behind now. :)

All characters probably aren't going to be in the same area at the same time. Maybe tag the players whose characters you're nearby or interacting with?
