It’s my birthday today! I’m officially an older adult. It feels like Jude Law becoming Michael Gambdon overnight, and still being just as magical.

Collab is finished and post is coming! Drum roll! Hit it, @Wayward!

I am okay with the ooc being open again for recruits, but what we have here is good for me, too.
Yay! That was my second choice!

“And, I am Aurora,” the Light Elf made a gracious bow to the Orc. Her hand was firmly holding her staff, as her body lowered itself.

Upon rising, Aurora’s milky gaze examined Barrack. He had a peaceful energy to him. She had witnessed Light Elves with more ferocity in their spirits. A small, polite smile rested on her lips. “I am so honored to be in the presence of a gentle creature.”

Her father had taught her to never underestimate any creature, great or small. However, she found herself quite curious about the Orc. He was not ordinary in the least, and it was admirable. She wished she could reach out and touch his face, to feel the muscles that rested his facial expression. However, she resisted such a notion.

“I apologize about the intrusion, as well…” Aurora hesitated. Her mind knitted together the best way to implore the Orc. There was much Zora (and she) could learn from the Orc. He had mastered a demon within his own nature that she could very well guess no other Orc had. To let him blend into the background, once again, would be a mistake.

Instead of immediately asking the Orc for any, assistance, Aurora decided to let the subject come to its own fruition naturally, if possible. Zora had already taken some sort of interest in the Orc. “What is it that others call you, my dear Orc?”
Through the pulsing red light, giving her a slight headache with all the animosity, she looks at the contents in the locker, and then down, at herself, to see if she is wearing anything, a thought that hadn’t occurred to her. (Action: Examine)

@Red Wizard
@BrokenPromise, Wind #2 is about missing his or her dad.

Oh, I love Kitty Pryde, too, @Kuro! ❤️ Although, I think it’s mostly from an elementary love for cats, and Kitty Pryde having brown hair and a youthful feminine side the other X-Men women are missing.

Presently, my favorite superhero is Addison Brody from Tomboy (by Mia Godwin, respectively). She’s fiercely and selflessly loyal to her family and friends. She has a cat mask. She’s feminine but loves sports. And, most importantly she extends the magical girl trope to something edgier, more rugged, complex, and deep.

Okay, so — eight hours later, this might be a little circumstantial. I just finished binge reading The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa, which has somehow influenced my decision making skills, and despite how much I enjoyed and now recommend the novel, Wind by @Midnight stars is a breath of fresh air to the haunting mystery of what Ogawa just pulled me through. So, that is where I place my vote. However, I must say again, the decision was difficult.
