Kithri scrambles back up to her feet easily enough due to her nimble build. Using the moment longer it takes the orc to get back up, she stabs at him once more. She was not about to go down without a fight!

Wincing as she steps on a branch with a loud snap, Kithri manages not to be hit by the orc's throwing stones. Instead, it seems the orc hit itself. Kithri launches herself off a nearby rock towards orc4, stabbing forward with her dagger.

Kithri blinks, sidestepping into the foliage of the forest to hide until the others get there, thankful for the simple mindedness of the two remaining orcs.

I wonder if this Estry has any banking system or stock market. I want to invest my golds into shares in NPC shops.@VeyrinDay

Estry has a House of Gems system, no stock market. Trade between nations was established after the Dragon Wars. As for why everyone has the amount of gold they have thus far aside from that just being how the dice rolled, well... Moon dons her writer's/GM attire.

Tenria is the daughter of a well-accomplished privateer/ex-noble, as well as the owner of a ship and it is not cheap running a ship/crew, docking fees, repairs, etc. She may not be the captain but as ship's owner she still gets a larger cut of the share when all is said and done after a prize. She doesn't have to keep that amount of gold on her at all times, but it is what is available to the character in her personal coffers aboard her ship.
Aseir has spent the bulk of his life fencing valuables and travelling the deserts between Machio to Sarlano in order to get to where the next big prize is. Similar to our swashbuckler, this line of work is not cheap to maintain. There are guards getting paid-off to look the other way, caravans to pay for knowingly transporting stolen goods, and so forth. Again, this amount doesn't have to be kept on his person, it could be kept in the House of Gems and it is the total amount at the start of the game available to the character.
Saris scavenged what he could from the long dead/ruined city he found himself awaking in, which wasn't much in way of modern currency. Irkul was never a city of much wealth, their primary trade being fish/seafood. What few treasures once stored in Irkul's stores were melted under dragon fire over a century ago. Saris' former mentor kept a mini-vault in the basement of his home. Though much of what was in there was deteriorated with time, what Saris has on his person at the beginning of the game is what he could scavenge.
Jun has lived a life of poverty, as Monks are apt to do, focusing more on his spiritual growth than his material one. Until a clan of Orc Ronin wrecked his home and managed to kill his master. He's lived the life of a wanderer ever since, swearing vengeance on the Orcs that ransacked his cloister. Much of what he has managed to earn while offering his skills across the icy lands of Shuen has been consumed in the form of Sake.


I'm working on the write-up for the zeroth and first IC posts, which will explain further how everyone's backstories tie into their arrival in Sarlano and who has met who prior to that arrival.

When her falchion wouldn't budge on the draw back, the halfling had a fleeting moment of panic. The banter of the orcs brought her mind back into the moment. Kithri gave a nervous chuckle, grinning up at the two approaching orcs as she begun backing up into the trees and rocks she had come from. She switched her dagger from her off-hand to her main-hand and would try to evade any incoming attacks with the aid of her agility skills and boots of spider climb. She could worry about getting the falchion back when the fight was over, surely one of the others would be capable of prying it out of an orc skull. 

Thinking of the others, she gave a swift side glance to where they had been when she essentially disappeared. "A little help would be great over here!"

I also added in what your starting wealth was supposed to be since we both missed it on the earlier reviews. :)

With the guttural roar of the barbarian and the sight of an arrow striking through the neck of an orc as it fell, the brunette halfling leapt down from her perch atop a boulder to strike one of the orcs from behind with her falchion.

I had intended to make a halfling, then I saw not allowed, so then I was gonna make a half orc, but they're not allowed either lol@Kenshi

Sorry, the world is too young for the races to have been breeding for half-races. Also why there aren't any well-known adventurers yet
