"You're tampering with a crime scene, fucko."

Cecily tried not to giggle, finding amusement as the war-torn Mexican picked up one of the more obnoxious reporters, twisting his arm in the most sickening and cruel fashion she could imagine, and dropping him to the ground like garbage. If the man hadn't terrified her as well, Cecily would have let out a cheer.

And of course, it would have been entirely unprofessional--her slight thread to the media earlier was bad enough. Still, in Justice, they couldn't really afford firing their forensic techs over things like that. They needed everyone they possibly could get, with the huge amount of crimes that happened.

"Ma'am. Police response times in this city are a joke. I have other two people on site right now. May we officially assist your investigation? We can start by holding back the vultures."

She blinked a bit, her eyes quickly scanning over the credentials he presented. She honestly had no idea if they were fake or not--but she had heard a bit about Machete Security Services. Or at least, she pretended that she had. The credentials looked decent, the media were pushing at her like a mob...

And if there was anything Cecily hated, it was the destruction of evidence. Rules be damned.

"Yes, please, thank you!" Cecily responded, a bit more eager than she would have liked. "I can't legally let you into the crime scene core, but if you would get the media away from the outer perimeter, that would be wonderful..."

She paused for a moment, wondering whether or not she had the authority to authorize payment for the services. She wasn't the head technician -- she was no coroner or ME, certainly. But right now, her job was to secure the crime scene, not to stand here helplessly.

"We can settle the fees once the coroner arrives?" Cecily asked hopefully.

She smiled weakly, glancing up towards the roof. Any evidence up there had already vanished -- Treasure Boy had taken care of that. There'd be nothing to find here. Her best bet would be to try to find fibers, saliva, blood... anything on Danica's body.

Taking another look around the crime scene, she laughed a bit to herself, turning to talk to Riley, only to remember she was off in the crowd, injured.

"Might need to reschedule that date..." Cecily muttered, looking off in Riley's direction.

Also yeah, I meant it when I said romance is encouraged. You guys can have romances in between each other, and some of my NPCs. Hell, even those in the 32nd and the villains I'll come up with can become romance options. XD

She can create illusions, yeah. Or more accurately stated, she can create virtual images at will by bending light and imagining what she wants to see. She carries the mirror and glasses with her to help her if she's having trouble focusing it. In theory, she could even concentrate light in one area and use it like an energy blast. It's also possible for her to block all light from interacting with her, essentially making her invisible. I really love the possibilities of light manipulation ^_^

But there's no way she's strong enough to do all that yet :P

I think Nyt and Eddie could honestly play off of each other pretty well. :) Since sound waves control what we hear, and light waves control what images we see.
