Guinevere Stark

Guin coughed again, a bit of blood coming up this time and she nearly passed out. Her eyes closed and her pulse dropped a bit, until she jolted awake and everything seemed to stabilize itself. "...Sore...Just about everywhere...Hurts to breathe..." Guin said honestly. "Trying not to give into the temptation to move my arm to see if that still hurts...But Dad...the main thing is all of the drugs, scared they'll mess with my sobriety..." she then admitted quietly. Sterns had given her a sedative and the hospital had given her some decently effective painkillers. She was worried that just the relief the painkillers gave her would be enough to send her back down the path of abuse.

"SON." The Hulk gave Lance something similar to a smile, bounding across the city and holding him securely in his arms. Banner was freaking out internally, seeing Lance in such poor shape. The Hulk didn't have the medical skills needed to help Lance, but at least he seemed to be intent on getting Lance to a hospital. And after that, they'd track Sterns down and kill him. It didn't matter if Sterns had somehow unlocked the secret behind the Hulk. He was nothing more than a cheap imitation - an irritating fly to swat. The Hulk crashed into the hospital and bounded down the hallway, climbing into the room Tony and Guin were in. "HELP SON!" the Hulk screamed at Tony.

"Like I would miss Pick On Tony Week," Guin said softly, laughing before coughing in pain. The movement of her diaphragm while laughing was aggravating the more serious of her two injuries. She was incredibly worried about Lance and she couldn't remember if she'd told them about his location, but she knew her scratch paper wasn't in her hand anymore and Banner was nowhere to be seen. She figured he must have volunteered to go off with some of the others to go and get Lance. She didn't have any sort of idea of how long it had been since they were kidnapped.

"SON!" the Hulk screamed, tearing open the door to the lab and pushing his way inside. The Hulk let out a roar, spotting Lance on the table and he grabbed him, pulling him up and smashing the machine with his other hand. Hulk, we need to get Lance to safety before we can kill Sterns... Banner's voice whispered in the Hulk's mind. He let out another roar, smashing pieces of equipment and machinery wildly, trying his best to ruin it all and damage the structural integrity of the building before he fled, running with Lance back to the hospital.
@Peridot Yeah, I can make room for you ^_^

Pepper had put a blanket on Tony's shoulders, before she had stepped out into the hallway to speak with the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, taking Luis out with her. He kept going on about his friend Ant-Man who was going to show up any second, and she knew that Tony wasn't exactly in the mood for another fanboy. She didn't blame him. Guin was his only biological family left and she had gotten seriously injured. Her right arm was in a cast and they had had to stitch up a giant hole in her midsection, covering it with heavy duty gauze. "...There's the famous Tony Stark ego, taking all of the credit..." Guin mumbled weakly, her eyes still closed.

Meanwhile, Banner had found the building Luis and Guin had collectively indicated. All of the doors were locked and he glanced up, seeing the ruined bit of exposed ducts that Guin had fallen from. He sighed. "HULK'S TURN!" Hulk shouted, with Banner giving him a mental thumbs up. The two of them were working together, with Banner shifting into the Hulk and not protesting as he took control. The Hulk ripped open an entranceway for himself, letting Puny Banner send him mental prompts. By a pure stroke of luck, he was heading in the right direction. It wouldn't be long before he found the lab.

The hospital was only seven minutes away from where Sterns had been keeping Guin and Lance, and by the time Tony, Pepper, and Banner had arrived, Guin was already set up in a small private room. S.H.I.E.L.D. had sent a handful of agents to guard it, as the young heiress to Stark Industries kept slipping in and out of consciousness. Luis was chattering away and she had mostly learned to tune him out, with the exception of having him bring her a piece of paper. On it, she had sketched a rough map of her route through the ducts and what she remembered from the lab layout.

"I need to go call Lance's mom..." Banner muttered to Tony, heading out of the hospital room and into the hallway. He had gotten Luis to reenact his 911 call, giving him the address where he found Guin. And he had noticed the sketches Guin made when she was conscious and had slipped them into his pocket. He didn't look it, but he had a special skillset when it came to finding people like this. He had avoided the US government and a dozen other interested parties for years by knowing these techniques.

Banner put on a baseball cap and hoodie, walking out of the hospital and heading towards the intersection Luis had mentioned. It was only a seven minute walk. For perhaps the first time in his life, Banner and the Hulk were completely in sync. He was going to get his son back and kill Sterns.

Guinevere Stark

"Woah, Guin Stark! Man you look really beat up! It's like my cousin Ernesto was saying to his girl Valerie, the strangest things just happen whenever you least expect it! Y'know, this reminds me of something I heard from this crazy old rich white guy, Dr. Pym, who heard it from his super hot daughter Hope, who heard it from this actually mentally insane scientist, who got it from his cleaning lady who used to go to school with this girl's who was cousins with Howard Stark's roommate. Anyways, apparently he told her that Starks have a mad death wish, bro!" Luis exclaimed, having been in the neighborhood for some completely legitimate activity.

He poked at her slightly with his leg, seeing the pool of blood that was forming around her injury. Guin just blinked slightly, having not really understood what he was saying. All she heard was jabber jabber jabber Guin Stark jabber jabber jabber Dr. Pym jabber jabber jabber Howard Stark jabber jabber Starks. Luis pulled out his phone and took a picture of her, sending off a text before he dialed 911. "Yeah, hey, I got an emergency here, she's looking like Loki came and did a number on her something...Do you think Thor would've let him come back to Earth? 'Cause my man Ant-Man, he's looking for an arch nemesis, help to build up his street cred...Oh, it's Guin Stark, corner of 318th and 87th. Yeah, looks pretty bad, lot of blood, probably wanna hurry man."

Guin blinked, seeing the phone in his hand. "Call this number..." she mumbled, before slowly and quietly reciting Tony's cell. She then collapsed unconscious. "Woah, am I gonna get to talk to Iron Man? Just wait till Scottie hears about this!" Luis exclaimed, bending down and putting pressure on Guin's wound before calling Tony. "Hey man, it's like a real honor to hear your voice and everything, it's just like it sounds like on television. I was a huge fan of your appearance on Dancing With the Stars a few years back - and when Maddie Le Fey showed up? Priceless! Like damn man, you got mad game...Anyways, I like found your daughter on the sidewalk in the warehouse district and she's bleeding out and told me to call you, so I guess that means I'm helping the Avengers right?"

"...Calm down, Tony..." Banner said softly, but internally, he was screaming. The Hulk wasn't happy about this situation at all and he wanted to let it be known. The Hulk wanted to take control and tear apart all of California until he found Lance. Pepper just sighed, looking at Tony. She knew he was going to reject her suggestion to call Guin's mother, but the woman could gaze into the past. She'd be perfect for tracking the van.

Guinevere Stark

Guin bit her lip, wishing that her father had taught her more mechanical engineering as opposed to electrical engineering. She knew that vents were designed with a specific weight limit in mind and she was lucky that she was light enough. It also helped that she had spread herself out, trying to distribute her weight evenly, rather than concentrating in any single location. She closed her eyes and tried to speed her mind up, figuring out a rough estimation for the amount of force she'd have to use to kick out a single panel of the ducts. Once she got the number and tried to approximate what she'd have to do to make that happen, Guin began to move through the ducts.

"At least the metal isn't jagged," Guin muttered to herself as she crawled. She knew that there was no incentive for the engineers to ensure that the metal on the inside of the ducts was smooth and safe to touch, as there was for the outside. Once she had judged she'd put plenty of distance between herself and Sterns, Guin bit her lip before she slammed her fist down on the panel in front of her. It gave out easily - but so did the one she was lying on. And rather than still being inside the building, she appeared to have crawled into a section of the ducts that went outside before looping back in.

"Oh fuck..." Guin muttered as she began to quickly fall. She was on the fifth story and she tried to grab a fire escape, managing to slow her fall for a second before her grip slipped and she fell into an open dumpster. Fortunately, it was overflowing with garbage bags and cushioned her fall, but they didn't break it entirely. Someone had tried to throw away an old rocking chair and a piece of the wood became imbedded in her side and Guin screamed slightly. She had landed on her arm at a funny angle and she was pretty certain it was broken as well.

She took a deep breath, trying to get her bearings despite the immense pain she was in. She seemed to be in some sort of warehouse district - which she guessed made sense. She tried to shift to get out of the dumpster, but any movement only disturbed the wood lodged in her and she screamed again. It was the only thing keeping pressure on the wound as well, ironically. But she knew she couldn't stay there. Gritting her teeth and closing her eyes, she shoved her hips upwards and yanked herself off the broken rocking chair bit. She instantly started to bleed heavily all over the garbage and she rolled over, climbing out of the dumpster and falling to the ground on the sidewalk. "We are so screwed..." Guin mumbled, on the edge of consciousness.

"Who is the van registered to?" Pepper asked, back at the Malibu house. For whatever reason, she doubted it was stolen. Sterns didn't strike her as the type to steal a vehicle and leave an obvious trail because of it. If it hadn't been for Tony installing the Babysitter Protocol on P.H.I.L., he would have made a clean getaway with the kids. Maybe, if Sterns had created an alternate identity for himself to register the van under, they could find a building or house registered to him. He had to be taking the kids somewhere.

"...Lance will figure out a way to signal us..." Banner mumbled.

Fitz Townsley

Location: Prometheus: Lower Deck: Single Top (7)
Skills: None

Fitz yelped loudly enough to be heard in the hallway as Daphne started pulling him out. He grabbed onto one of the support legs of the beg and held onto it tightly, preventing Daphne from dragging him out from underneath the bed. He heard Jackie in the hallway and started to shake even more as he clung to the frame. She was definitely going to think he had slept with Daphne! And then one of the scary commanding officers was going to throw him out into the cold vacuum of space because of it. He was really regretting not staying back on Osiris - or just having the common sense to not stay in a pretty girl's room talking all night until he fell asleep.

"I-I-I-I l-l-l-like it here..." Fitz fibbed. He was entirely clueless as to the real tragedy happening on the ship and how tiny his problems were in comparison. But that didn't matter. His brain was screaming at him to not crawl out from underneath the bed at any cost. There could have been an army of reavers underneath the bed and he wouldn't have budged. And he was deathly afraid of reavers. It just was further proof of how terrified he was, both of the Captain and her Second in Command.

Dorothy Pender

Location: Prometheus: Lower Floor: Medical
Skills: Perception, Medicine, Life Sciences, Discipline

At first, Dorothy was completely in denial that anything would happen to Atticus. He was tough and stubborn; and sure, they'd lost crew members before but not him. He was too irritating to die. If he did die, he'd surely make a point of rising again, just to compare himself to one biblical character or another. Dorothy was certain of it. She didn't voice any of this, silently working alongside Jahosafat in an attempt to save Atticus' life. It was by the fifteenth minute that her certainty in Atticus' survival began to slip. A cold feeling came over her entire body and she felt sick to her stomach, as if her heart itself was aching, but she kept on working to try and revive him. Jahosafat's words hit her like a bullet to the stomach. She bit her lip, forcing herself to look away from Atticus.

"...No, I think work is best right now," Dorothy said, though her voice was rather quiet. As she looked down at Atticus' lifeless body on the medical bed, her eyes watered but she blinked back the tears, attempting to stay strong. She didn't want to go eat breakfast and think about Atticus' lost life. Keeping busy would be the best way to distract her mind, especially from a ridiculous question that kept on plaguing her. She hadn't fancied Atticus - he was just a friend. A very good friend. Someone she had grown to care for. Someone...

Dorothy stopped her thoughts for a moment. Atticus was dead. The very least she could do would be to privately admit what she had never told him in life - that she was sweet on him. She liked him, despite all of his many faults.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Eden - Lower Lobby
Skills: Pistol, Hand-to-Hand Combat, Stamina

For a moment, Beatrice considered falling back. Gavin and Thana had both hit the ground after getting sprayed with bullets. Odds were, at least one of them - maybe both - were dead. In a mission like this, it was still far less casualties than would be expected. No bullets had nicked her or Thalia, which in itself was a blessing. But she had committed to this mission and Beatrice ignored the feeling in her gut that told her to leave, to survive rather than live. At least if she died here, she'd have lived a little bit before she went. "Old Timer, do what you can," Beatrice said curtly.

Thalia had done an amazingly flexible move, using Cowboy as cover and Beatrice had her own pistol at the ready, trying her best to get a clear shot on their deranged companion to take him out. Beatrice didn't know if this was the leader of Eden they were looking at or just an underling. With these people, it was almost impossible to tell. Without Ryan alive, they didn't really have anyone who could give an ID. However, that didn't matter. The man was a hostile and would be treated as such: with extreme prejudice.

Jack Hudson

Location: Arnco Mills Safehouse (E10)
Skills: N/A

Jack was fast asleep, but his dream was anything but pleasant. Of course, it had started out relatively charming and sweet. He had a small apartment in Boston with Tatiana. His mother lived just a few blocks away and had been promoted to Associate Professor at her school. Tatiana was pregnant with their third child. Their two kids, Sally and James, were adorable little hell raisers, speaking an equal amount of Russian and English. And of course, he worked as a cop and Tatiana danced, having her own studio where she gave lessons. The Great Bazhooli was in his dream as well for some reason but Jack didn't pay too much attention to it.

"Solovey?" Jack called out, finding himself in their kitchen. The ground was shaking and he looked around, watching as the pictures of Sally and James fell to the ground and shattered. The family cat let of a shriek and ran outside, with Jack staring at the orange blur for a second. If he had blinked, he would have missed it. "Solovey, where are you?" He then turned around, finding himself standing in the middle of the road. Cars around him were skidding and spinning out of control. He stoped and stared, seeing a holographic image of....John Brolin in his role from the Goonies?! Brolin gave Jack a wink, before he snapped his fingers. He turned around only to see Tatiana and he grinned, going to give her a kiss before she turned to dust in front of his eyes.

"....SOLOVEY!"
