Scott Rydzynski

Location: His Apartment - Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: Trevor

Scott had gone to pack a bag with some necessities for heading to pick up the kids when he heard the knock. He froze for a moment, listening, before he headed to the door and opened it a crack. "Yeah?" he said gruffly. It clearly wasn't a cop. That much was a relief. And he doubted it was anyone connected to his buddies - they were off getting ready for some job. That left one last reason as to who it could be. He nodded, opening the door more, before he grabbed Trevor and closed the door behind him, locking it.

In a matter of minutes, he had Trevor hogtied to a chair and he had one of his pistols in his hand, pointing it at the man. He didn't take kindly to door to door salesmen, but he sensed that Trevor was something else entirely. "What do you want, snot weasel?" Scott asked, ready to kill or at least injure the man at a second's notice. He had a feeling he was connected to this entire mess and he was going to keep those kids safe, damn it.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

Jenna raised a slight eyebrow at their ghostly guide, but she didn't protest, following the ghost down the path. It didn't matter how she got to Riley, as long as she managed to pull it off. And she had little doubt that she wouldn't be able to get Riley out of there - dead or alive, Riley was going to at least physically return home. What Riley did with her life, assuming she was alive, after that was her business. Any debt Jenna owed her for her friendship would be absolved. With the keyholes in the doors that they found in the clearing, Jenna raised an eyebrow. "...Puzzle solving meets lockpicking," she muttered under her breath.

However, the appearance of those from the lake all of the sudden caused Jenna's stomach to churn. Of course Finley was there with them. She glanced at the blonde before she looked away. She had cut off contact with her for a reason. And it seemed that Finley was trying to cheat Jenna out of her solve. That pissed her off more than anything. Future visions, sure. Ghost sight? Check. But freaking portal jumping? That made Jenna want to punch something.

Nora Kingston & Gene Benaszewski

Location: The Ferry - the Second Deck (Dining Area)
Skills: N/A

"Disorganized?" Gene asked, her eyes wide in a you don't say?! sort of way. She had to keep her mouth shut as since otherwise, she would have given her brother a lengthy list on every time being disorganized had helped in her life. And besides, they had plenty of organized people back home. She had to bring some sort of balance to her life somehow - and if a chaotic mess of a lifestyle was what did it, then so be it. It was a sacrifice that she was ever so willing to make. She then got up from her chair, not bothering to wait for anyone to pull it out for her.

"Yes, that sounds lovely," Nora said, giving Lady Munn an earnest smile - though it was small. Nora wasn't one for big gestures or big physical reactions of contentment to be in another individual's company. Everything was subdued with her. Yet she too thought it a bet strange that George decreed they would be safe with the tiny little thing. Yet Nora tried not to let her biases color too much into an opinion - but she could not imagine that Gene could keep them safe from much of anything.

"Do you need me to pull out your chair or are ya fine?" Gene asked, looking at Nora. The elder Englishwoman seemed a bit flustered as Nora rose to her feet. Gene then crossed her arms, smirking a bit. She enjoyed making people flustered. It was on her list of favorite things to do and that list included pranking. "I'm guessing you're both on the elite deck, right? Well, I can't go up there," Gene said. "And since I'm watching you, that means tea is delayed. But no reason conversation has to be put off right?"

Nora raised a slight eyebrow. George's sister was very...blunt. She reminded her of a cat in a way that wanted to be fed or have attention - very much in your face with no sugarcoating of anything. If anything however, Nora wanted to discuss these strange events with Lady Munn - someone well versed in the mythos of Egypt. She knew that Gene professed to be competent, but did she really know much of anything to do with these events? Or would it be additional guesswork?

Maeve Brennan and Sally Kirkpatrick

Location: Kirkpatrick House: (B20 -> B21)
Skills: Deasmhumhnach

Calum turned his head and witnessed a childhood friend be killed. It was not something he was prepared for even though he had known it could happen. His eyes moist he attacked the Soulless closest to him but the creature blocked perfectly and came at Calum. It quickly turned into a brawl, both missing, both hitting. In the end, they would both be dead. Calum finishing off the Soulless just before he bled out underneath its crumpled body.

The rest of the Soulless advanced towards the two women left and even the horses. One coming up to one of the draft horses and putting a sword right into the beasts heart. It dropping hard on the ground. The other horse trying to bolt but the weight of the carriage and his dead mate kept him in playing as he whinnied out try to get away, fighting against the harness that kept him in place.

One came up to Lady Kirkpatrick but she was having none of it. Her old frame side stepping the pathetic attempt at her life as her cane came down and she took the monsters head off in a single back hand. She might have been old but the woman was proving to be anything but frail. She could see the bodies of Rory and Calum but she did not have time to mourn. There were still more Soulless to tend to before any tears could be shed, even then, decorum might prevent her from doing so.

Maeve inhaled sharply, not even having time to ponder if she was cursed as she stepped forward. Her first love, her husband - although they had lived more as siblings at the end - had been killed by a damned British officer. And just as her heart seemed to become curious in exploring with someone new, Calum had met a grisly end at the hands of a Soulless. But she could not dwell on such things. She needed to eliminate the threat - and work as hard as she could for dear Roisin.

Twirling her staff of sorts in her hands, she used her trained skill of Deasmhumhnach and bashed the Soulless into the ground, sending it to meet its creator. She allowed herself to take another sharp breath, but the battle was hardly over. There was another just a few paces from her - and she imagined more by Lady Kirkpatrick. She whispered a slight prayer under her breath for Calum's soul. It was all she could do at this moment.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Carlisle (F7 -> F8)
Skills: Nakai, Pavati

The bodies had piled up during the Battle At Carlisle, but even though most of the Soulless were dead or had ran off there was still one remaining before Virginia could turn her attention towards her fallen friend Mary. The clouds were starting to thicken again above, much like it had been before they had reached the city and there was static electricity in the air. The last remaining Soulless didn't take note of it as he drew a gun and fired towards Virginia. The bullet missed fully and didn't even come close to the Crypt woman.

"Thank you, Dark Mother," Virginia said, though she didn't know if it truly was an act of Veliona that had protected her from the bullet. Her family heirloom was secure and there was just one Ryne left as she dashed forward, steeling her nerves and her commitment as she swung her axe. It was a clean cut and the Soulless dropped to the ground, dead once more. Taking a breath, Virginia kept a tight hand on her axe. "Dear Mary..." she then whispered. Millicent could wait a little longer. She had a corpse to attend to. "Dark Mother, I pray you keep my sister Mary if her god is unwilling," Virginia said. She had no reason to suspect that Mary would not enter the afterlife she suspected - Virginia believed in many gods - but just in case, she thought it would not hurt to put in a good word for her fallen friend with the dark forces.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Outside of the Kitchen House -> Carnival Set Up
Skills: N/A

Andromeda raised an eyebrow at James. With the atmosphere of the 1940's, his particular vocabulary was a bit jarring at times - namely with all of the cursing. As he complimented them on their appearances, Andy bit her tongue slightly, having for a moment considered going as do you. But it wasn't exactly the time or place - and she mainly just had a craving for nuts at the moment. As strange as it was, the craving was probably the most normal/ordinary thing that had happened since she had arrived at Ville au Camp.

With the scream, Andromeda rushed over along with the others. Gilbert quickly started handing out orders and Andromeda took them in. She couldn't help but wonder if her weather manipulation might help, but it was volatile and Gilbert had come up with an alternative suggestion. Faith similarly seemed to be wondering what to do and Andromeda nodded, indicating that she had the same question. She didn't want to pester Gilbert by voicing it again.

Professor Walnut took a moment, hearing the directionality of the music - it now seemed to be coming through via the opposing door. She nodded slightly at Titian's reply, though it was disappointing to be truthful. She wanted to know more about their companions. Several things hinged upon that knowledge. Yet for now, as she walked around the room, she took in the sights and sounds of the trophy room. The various stuffed and mounted creatures did not phase her. She had seen worse.

She then looked at the woman who had spoken and given them information. She wondered for a moment if she might enlist her help. Yet she knew that the odds that some servant would be able to do any job justice on such short notice were slim at best. "Shall we venture forth then?" Walnut asked Titian, looking up at him with her small stature at its full height. The music she could hear intrigued her. There was potential there.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Flight UA 2199 Gate
Skills: N/A

"...He's from Texas, they talk a bit differently," Cecily told Roy with a slight smile. It was the closest she had come to joking since Natasha died - and while it truly wasn't a long time, it emotionally felt like it had been. She still felt guilty and blamed herself for Natasha's death, but seeing Roy again was a good distraction and helped her to take her mind off of it. Yet she took another breath, nodding as Gavin said they needed to go claim the body. Every flight she had been on recently involved some transportation of a corpse.

Her eyes then drifted slightly and she spotted who she assumed to be Lincoln. He looked the part of a grieving fiancΓ© and he vaguely matched the picture she had seen on Natasha's phone. "Yes, that's N-Natasha's fiancΓ©," Cecily explained, the words catching in her throat slightly. Her knees felt a bit like jelly as she walked over to Lincoln, not sure whether or wave or smile or grimace or what. "H-Hi....I'm C-Cecily...Cecily Ashworth, w-we spoke on the phone..."

Jack Newnan

Location: Headland: E. Main Street, A4, (Station Wagon Back Seat Driver's Side)
Skills: N/A

Jack nodded a bit, wishing that the girls would come back soon. But how hard could it possibly be to change a diaper? "Well, we gotta be able to figure this out....Can't be hardah than distilling, right?" Jack reasoned. Yet he didn't feel all too confident, as he looked at his beautiful and stinky baby. He grimaced a bit, recalling Ash's choice of the word heavy. He was all too certain that the diaper really was heavy. He started to rummage through the baby supplies in the car, glancing up every now and then at the darkening clouds.

Just like he knew something bad geologically was about to happen, he couldn't help but feel a similar bit of fear baby supply wise. The baby bag had a variety of items that Tatiana had left there and Jack pulled out one of the diapers. "Okay, Jamie, ya got any tips on how to get this on ya?" he asked the child. He stared at his baby for a moment. "Yah, I didn't think ya did eithah. Okay...Well, Uncle Ash and I, we're gonna figure this out, ya just gotta stay nice and quiet okay? Okay kiddo?" He wiped a bit of sweat that had formed off of his forehead, before he started looking for directions on these things.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quincy: Inside House (C8)
Skills: N/A

"She has a can of O's. I think that's more than enough - so no sucker," Beatrice called back to Manny. She turned her attention back to Thalia, feeling a bit out of her depth. She glanced back at Manny for a moment, contemplating what to do. She had half a mind to restrain Thalia at this rate. She didn't seem to be all too cognizant of what was good for herself. Her clothing was half off and she was messing with can openers. As Alex returned with tubing and Beatrice looked at Thalia, she nodded to herself slightly.

"If the transfusion works....We should restrain her. At least until the drugs have worn off," Beatrice reasoned. "She isn't in any mental state to think rationally and we can't let her get herself hurt - or alert walkers to our presence. Thana might not be back until morning at this rate, so we can't afford to draw a hoarde here." She then grabbed her bottle of water, opening it up again and offering it to Thalia. It was sweltering inside and that couldn't be helping with the recovery. "Drink," she instructed her. "Do you know if any of us is a match for her blood type?" Beatrice asked Manny. She didn't remember who was a match for who at the moment.

Jia Li

{"I decide my future."}

Jia Li rubbed her hands together in her cell, blowing on them slightly and then cupping her face. No matter what she did, she couldn't get the chill from her body. It had invaded her almost completely, preventing her from making a single spark when it came to her bending. It was spring time - the days were growing longer and she was strengthened by sunlight, but it wasn't enough within these cells. She could only hope that the extreme cold would wear off before too much time passed and that she could make a break for it. She had so much to fight for.

She sneezed, glancing at her cellmate - a white blonde woman named Yumiko. The girl's dark green eyes caught her attention and Jia Li had decided to allow her cellmate the first move. Yumiko had already been here when Jia Li arrived and Jia Li didn't know how her cellmate appreciated housing with a Fire Nation woman. She would let her decide what terms their relationship was on, if any. Yet if she could find a route to freedom from this prison, she wanted to take Yumiko with her. She felt a solidarity with her - purely based on the fact that they had been shoved into the same cell.

Maeve Brennan and Sally Kirkpatrick

Location: Kirkpatrick House: (C20 to B20)
Skills: Riada, Deasmhumhnach

The Soulless closed in quickly around the four of the Soulled trying to fight them off and things were going well but the tides were starting to turn. Even though Calum and Rory were both able to take two more out and things seemed to be going in their favor it looked like it wouldn't hold forever. A gun was drawn and even though they were not a weapon to be counted on in this day and age, it made its mark and Rory stood silently as he turned slowly and looked at the Lady Kirkpatrick. Blood dripped from his mouth as he held his chest. The blood seeping between his fingers before he dropped to his knees and fell forward slowly. He was gone.

Maeve moved a pace west, the Soulless closing in on her and she was almost surrounded as she tried to let out a scream, using the technique of Riada. Yet her scream failed her once more. She couldn't afford to rely on screams any longer and she took her glorified stick in her hands, prepared to bat away at the creatures now with as fierce blows as she could muster.

There seemed to be a shift in the air and the sky grew slightly dark above them. Lady Kirkpatrick looked around as the Soulless froze in their tracks for a moment. The air getting colder and each persons breath could be seen. Was this a good sign or not, Calum didn't know but he took a small step back and looked up. Something was coming but he needed to focus on what he could deal with right then.

Maeve didn't have time to ponder the events either. Instead, she stood her ground and began to fight using her trained weapon. Her swing was poor at best and needed improvement, but the Soulless' defense was extremely lacking. She knocked it onto its back and tried for another swing, only for the creature to roll and dodge the blow. Gritting her teeth, Maeve gave it a third try and this time, the Soulless' skull was bashed in.

Virginia Crypt

Location: Carlisle (F7)
Skills: Nakai, Pavati

Virginia snatched the family heirloom. not wanting to lose it, and she wrapped the chain of the necklace around her free hand. She would put it on properly in a moment. Two of the Rynes were closing in on her and she didn't want to become one of the Soulless just because she was fiddling around with jewelry. Her mind sharp, she dashed forward and struck at one, hitting it with her axe but it wasn't a clean blow and it merely injured the Soulless.

The Soulless bared his teeth towards Virginia and went to attack, his sword coming towards her. However, he missed as Virginia dodged with ease and attempted another swing. As if in some sort of irritating dance the two of them had arranged, the creature evaded her swing and Virginia let out a growl of frustration. The Dark Mother however was on her side - that much she was certain of. She gave it another swing and this time, she decapitated it and there was one foul creature left. "What do you know of the Lord Dywell and the Lady Crypt?" Virginia asked, looking at the creature, axe at the ready.
