Dean Kesseli

Location: OMEN Facility - Cell Block (Area 51, Probably)

Dean looked at Ayita with confusion - he had never heard that expression before and he had no idea at all what it meant. How was he making doe eyes? His eyes didn't look like a deer at all. Then Richard was telling Pietro to essentially turn himself on and Dean couldn't help but be more confused. Nothing was really making sense anymore. "Maximoff is a brat," Dean mumbled in agreement with Richard before he started to giggle. His expression soured as Pietro and Lance both told him off.

He got to his feet, looking at the speedster. He ignored Pietro's earlier remarks in favor of the humans and he was seeing red. He liked Richard's chastising of Pietro and Bethany's response that Pietro and Lance seemed gay, but he was still mad. His baby sister was human. His adoptive family was human. Most of his friends he had beyond the mansion were human. "Why don't you shut your fucking mouth!" Dean shouted at Pietro. Screw everything he had said previously about working together.

It took him a few swings, before he managed to land a punch on the speedster. He always knew that there was a chance that this all would have been an act - that Pietro was a mole for the Brotherhood - but he was pissed. Everyone he cared about was in danger because of freaking Quicksilver and Dean wanted to kill him.

"Huh, what?" Pietro said, shaking his head before his eyes grew wide at what he had said after the whole thing about Dean. He then proceeds to walk over to one of the cell glass doors, and even though he doesn't have his powers, proceeds to hit his head against it, hard enough to cause it to shatter. His head was bleeding quite a bit, and bits of glass were in the cuts that now covered his face. Since he didn't have his powers, they cuts were still bleeding quite a bit, and were not healing.

Guin Stark

Location: OMEN Facility - the Quinjet

Folly nodded, staying still as Cassandra attempted to reattach her arm. It would be a while until she could grow a leg back. She had timed it once and at the very best, it was a process that took hours. Her arm was repaired in the process of the stitching and her healing factor's assistance. Yet she wouldn't be able to do all too much like this. "I'll mind the jet," Folly said. She was crippled. "I'm not much use without a leg."

Guin didn't respond to Mary or Muscles, watching as the Carolinas and the others went outside to be useful. She had powers, but they weren't good for anything. Combined with her accidentally crippling one of the strongest hitters, she felt completely and utterly useless. She was bad luck. She shouldn't even be a member of the team. Walking to the back of the quinjet, she got into a little pod like area where the weapon controls were and she aimed at the O.M.E.N. facility.

"...I'm about to kill people..." she whispered to herself, a single tear falling down her face as she opened fire with the weapons, killing a total of 25 agents. Her hands were shaking slightly. She never had killed before. She never had used lethal force. She couldn't help but feel like a monster - like she was no better, murdering those OMEN agents, than they were with their treatment of mutants. She wasn't acting with any authority. It was vigilantism.

"Why did I let that happen, I shouldn't have done that, I'm so stupid!"

She thought about saying something back to Pietro. But she didn't. She didn't know if she could bring herself to look him in the eye.

"...Comic books for me are fairytales for grown ups..." - Stan Lee
@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic
Hassenstadt, Latveria Region, Serbia: August 30th, 2020 - 2:45 P.M.

@Nallore: Today just is not Cass' day. As she begins the extensive repair process, she can hear the sound of fighting from the cargo ramp area, past the laboratory. There's then a large crash, as something - or rather, someone - was thrown through the glass of the laboratory walls and hit the ground. "DON'T LOOK HIM IN THE EYE!" a male voice screamed and there was the sound of gunfire, the shots lasting for a good few minutes, before there was another crash and then silence. Small particles of gravel seemed to be in the air and a perfectly sculptured head of a HYDRA agent rolled into view, followed by Kennedy in his rock form.

"Sorry for my absence, Reed," Kennedy said roughly. He spat up a bit of what looked like blood, a moving and talking stone statue still. There were bullets covering his body. "Mind pulling these out before I shift back? I'd rather not have the bullets on me when I become skin and bone again...They almost killed me." He then grabbed a bullet and pulled it out. He then clutched his side when the wound started to gush blood.

"Shit...They must be coated with vibranium..." he sort of limped, falling to the side.

Raynor Blake & Dominika Novikova

Location: Castle Doomstadt: Inside (First Floor Foyer --> Stairs) (Kitchen --> Partition between Kitchen and Great Room)
Skills: Security Analysis, Light Manipulation, Dimensional Energy Perception (Passive), Earth Manipulation

The grunt looked at Tinley, positively and absolutely terrified of this woman. He found it dishonorable to be bested by a woman - yet Tinley's pseudo-telepathic abilities were helping to terrify him into submission. Through accidental mind control and intentional intimidation, the grunt nodded. Tinley would manage to pick out his thoughts: holy fucking shit, I do not need this...Von Bardas is going to be pissed...She's in the suite1, right? Tinkerer, the gremlin, he's downstairs still...Oh god and then that THING on the roof...And the specimen in the basement...I hope they don't wake her up before delivery...
1 = suite is marked on the map as the activity room.

"...You have to teach me how to do that," Novikova said quietly, having run up the stairs with Nikolai covering them. She couldn't help but look at her field commander in awe. She then reached out, using a seismic sense once more. "The anomaly...It's up, on the roof. That's the source of it." It was fortunate that this castle was made out of stone. It allowed her to have a rough visual map in her head of everything within it that gave off a vibration.

"Mission is not the anomaly," Nikolai scolded.

Meanwhile...

Raynor observed the damage that Niah had taken. After Tempest's healing, the blood flow had stopped and the dizziness would be gone. However, Niah would need to receive a blood transfusion as soon as possible in order for her to not need further medical assistance. The wound was gone - that was the important thing. "No, nothing from command - they might have decided to go radio silent," Raynor said, not concerned. However, all of the girls there - Maria, Tempest, and Niah - would rightly have a bad feeling about this...That something must have happened to command.

He then sent his ball of light flying around the kitchen quickly, illuminating all of the corners and hiding spots. There was no one else there. However, they still had the Great Room to check out. And Agents Lee and Rhodes hadn't messaged back with their status. That concerned Raynor - and Agent Bautista would also have a bad feeling about that. It wouldn't concern Agents Renoir or Smith at all. "Agent Bautista is stabilized," Raynor said into his comm. "Proceeding to the Great Room now." He then looked at the agents. "Tempest and Reed - one of you stay with Bautista. The other, with me."

Raynor made his way forward carefully, keeping his ball of light in his hand. He had left one back with the girls. It'd be a warning system of sorts - if something happened to him, the light would go out. He didn't mind which girl ended up coming with him, as he pressed forward from their crouched position and peered around the corner of the partition that separated the Great Room from the kitchen.

"Um, sir, shouldn't we go investigate the gunfire?" a grunt asked, shifting nervously. "Like, it's been a few minutes since someone went to go check on it..."

"No, that's what we have guards for!" the Tinkerer scolded. He was too absorbed with his work to notice Agent Raynor. "Now hand me that arrow head - yes, the one from freaking Hawkeye's bow dumbass!" the Tinkerer shook his head as one of the grants started handing him the salvaged exploding arrowhead and the scientist started to fiddle with it. "We can't afford to be late on this freaking account...You don't mess with Hellfire!"

Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 10:45 AM

@mnkee: Lyra will see the hooded figure running down the road that leads up to the Palace, making a beeline for Wizard Way. Wizard Way is always crowded and bustling, so it's the ideal place to vanish into the crowd. Whoever it is, they do not want to be caught. Now, she can either pursue the figure further or return to the others. She won't have much time to make her choice.

@Nallore: Luna will hear an explosion from upstairs and will be able to reach her siblings (see Myrus' post)

@KazAlkemi@LadyRunic@mnkee: Tristan will no longer have the poison within his system, thanks to Skaoi's treatments. Amarantha will have recovered as well. Becky was quiet for a moment, before she looked at Tristan. "He was the target," she said confidently. "I have to imagine the poisoning of you, dear, was an accident," she told Amarantha. "As for who would want Prince Tristan dead..." Becky didn't think she needed to finish that thought.

@LadyRunic: Esmeralda laughed at Rhys. "You would have seen that I had all I desired?" she asked, shaking her head at him. She reached into a jar and grabbed a handful of what seemed to be fertile red soil and she let it fall through her hands, back into the bowl. With the remnants that clung to her skin, she drew a mark on the palm of her hand - a Witchy equivalent of a wizard's SafeCharm. "I don't need anything that ya got, ya sick bastard," she added. "Ain't no man is gonna determine my fate for me. Now you're goin' to bring me to my boy and let me heal him. Ya ain't got a clue what you're doin'."

@FantasyChic: "Do as the Witch Messiah asked," Princess Meadow said. Her mounted guard dismounted and she was assisted from her horse, having been riding it in the outdated style of side saddle - but customs such as that still persisted in the Lagoon. She took off her riding cloak and handed it to an attendant, before she headed inside as Fleur had indicated.

"Before we begin discussion, I have brought you a gift," Princess Meadow said. She made a curious hand gesture at one of the attendants and they brought forth a dazzling rose quartz necklace, the chain made of pure gold. "I am told that this necklace belonged to a powerful seer of ancient times...But to business. I believe that we have common enemies - the Half Witch Queen of the Castle. Perhaps it is time we helped each other in order to achieve our ends."

Arya Rincewind

Location: Wizard Tower - 20th Floor

Arya knew that she should refrain from the use of Magyk - but a simple summoning spell couldn't hurt and she didn't want to have to detour to the Traders' Docks. It would mean doubling the time to get to the specific portion of the Forest where the Physik women lived. She also was a bit of an impatient person. It created just enough that she convinced herself one small act of Magyk couldn't hurt - and that as ExtraOrdinary Wizard, she needed to keep up appearances at any rate.

"No need, I'll have the bow Brought here," Arya told Cuyler. She closed her eyes slightly and whispered the incantation, a purple haze gathering around her hands until Cuyler's bow appeared in them. Arya relaxed, relieved that she had not succumbed further to the Sickenesse, yet she felt something drip from her nose and she lifted her hand to reveal blood. Her abdomen then started to ache, reminiscent of the pain from an extreme period.

"...To the Forest, then," Arya said, blood still slowly flowing from her nose. "I'm fine. I have gotten nosebleeds ever since I was a little girl." It was technically not a lie. She did have nosebleeds when she was younger and overextended her Magyk - once or twice.

Myrus Silvers

Location: the Palace - Attic

Myrus stared at Valda for a moment, before he nodded numbly, looking down. He didn't know what to say to her - or if he could even put into words the emotions he was having. He went to grab a small chalice he had brought up there with him a few days prior, in order to clean it and give it back to the kitchen staff, but it glowed a reddish pink and then promptly exploded. And while Myrus was the source of the explosions, he was not immune to them in the slightest.

He swayed slightly on his feet and fell to the ground, hitting a crate that began to have the similar glow and his eyes had tears streaming from them as he tried to scoot away from it, only for the crate to explode as well. His face was covered in what seemed to be ash and soot. His fine clothes were damaged and he had mild burns on his skin. "I-I-I c-c-can't make it stop..." Myrus said, his entire body shaking and his hands seemed to be surrounded with that very same glow as well.

Antonije Magnisky

Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - Living Room

Marya and Medea were running around the Castle, managing to not have any issues or problems for the moment. Myth had gotten lucky as well and as suddenly as the bout of morning sickness had come on, it was gone. It was fortunate too - there was little more than an hour now until Bruce's family would arrive. Antonije then went and sat down on the couch, thinking for a moment.

"Silvija...What are you afraid of?" he asked her, moving over so she could sit next to him if she chose to, but he wasn't pressuring her to be close to him or anything. He wanted her to make her own decisions - though he certainly had the capability to mess with her mind if he really wanted to do so. "Tetka...I think she's afraid of what her baby might turn out to be," Antonije offered as an example.

"My sisters...that they won't be able to run one day..." he continued, before his eyes fell on Sylvia.

The Sea: The Aricie - Nearing the Port

Minerva gave Grimspound a smile in return, yet her eyes flickered to the water. She could make out the Port in the distance and she was looking forward to a respite from days at sea. It would be nice to have solid ground beneath her feet - and at any rate, she has some errands she was thinking of making while in the small society as well. She was fairly well off, coming from a powerful family lineage. "One of these days, those books will be your undoing," Minerva pointed out. She didn't care to specify exactly how.

She then glanced at Arnora, giving her a slight smile as she considered her question. "I heard rumors of a haunted establishment that the dreaded Fleur La Mallificum inhabited - it could be interesting to examine the house." She then glanced back at Ahote, giving the taller man a smile. "Perhaps you all would care to join me? I wouldn't imagine it'd interest you Grimspound - there won't be any new or exciting texts there I imagine."

Deep below, in the lowest deck, there were ten inches of water. Harlianne looked at it for a moment, her boots glistening now from the water they had touched. Her ship was sinking. "Aw, fuck me."

Scott Rydzynski

Location: His Apartment - Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: Janelle

Scott heard Jason call him an idiot and he frowned, glaring at the wall as if his glare would be telepathically communicated to Jason across space and time. He was beginning to regret telling Janelle that she could bring her brother to hole up at his place too. He figured Jason would be a dumbass and decide to play with one of his guns - and if Jason touched any of his guns, realistically, he'd be dead. But still. Worst case scenario thoughts were coming to mind.

"...I'll meet ya two at Golden Age," Scott told them. He was feeling a bit paranoid and uneasy. Golden Age was a comic book store beloved by the locals and located in the underground levels of Pikes Place Market - not too far away from his apartment. He didn't think the kids would be able to both fit on his bike, but he'd figure something out. "Oh and tell ya brother that if I was the one responsible, I wouldn't be dragging kids into this. No kids. That's my fucking line in the sand."

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

"I know," Jenna said simply, as she looked at Abe. Sig-Bitch was just one of the worker grunts - his boss was the real evil. But he still didn't scare Jenna. The only thing to truly be afraid of was fear itself - and Jenna considered herself to be fearless, at least in this moment. One way or another, Riley was going to be rescued and she was going to leave Red Lake. She'd even consider recovery of Riley's body for a proper funeral to be a success - although not a great one. She wanted to see her friend escape from this nightmare alive.

Seeing that they were more concerned with what was behind them, Jenna glanced at Lydia and pressed on forward. She figured Kosara could handle whatever that child was - Jenna had assumed that he was a ghost, but she hadn't bothered poking him in order to check. If this was all about seeing some sadistic and twisted show the Demon Bitch Boss was about to put on, then Jenna was going to make sure she had a front row seat. These people could talk and talk about saving Riley in the abstract, but she was going to actually do something about it.

Nora Kingston & Gene Benaszewski

Location: The Ferry - the Second Deck (Dining Area)
Skills: Irish Gaelic

Gene nodded a bit as Josephine's words - she had experienced things like this before, a group of unusual individuals coming together and it did not always turn out as hoped. Yet this group seemed to be decently comprised and well structured, something that she had to give them credit for. None of them made the old soul want to pull her hair out and scream. She then noted that one of them in particular - Mosi - seemed to be staring at her slightly. Gene made a final pattern with her wrapper and then began to tear it up into a chaotic and disordered pile. It made her think of a woman who was practically her sister - she hated chaos whilst Gene craved it.

Then there was the Other as Gene had mentally labeled him - he was over eager and desperate to prove himself. Yet from his description of his tasks for the Lord Major, Gene was a bit surprised. He seemed to be a glorified errand boy. As much as she wanted to take a moment to poke fun at the man and come up with a list of increasingly ridiculous questions, Lady Munn caught her attention with her tale. Gene's eyes were alight with excitement - and perchance a bit of glee as well? "I am most definitely going to be as involved in this as I can be," Gene said with a huge grin. "I may be a nurse by trade, but I know other things as well and might be able to help."

Nora was eating small portions of her food. She tended to eat only a little bit of each course - not because she disliked it or from rudeness, but simply because she didn't want to risk getting sea sick. So much of her life had been organized around precautions should her childhood illness return - both logical and illogical. The Corporal was certainly an interesting character and while Nora would not have accepted such an invitation, Josephine was a different woman. She couldn't help but admire Josephine's confidence.

"NΓ bheadh mΓ© rΓ³-thromchΓΊiseach dΓ‘ mba Γ© seo an trΓ‘thnΓ³na seo caite..." Nora muttered under her breath in Gaelic at Mosi's departure. Her sudden use of manners somehow was a more grievous insult to Neema's memory. The woman was capable of manners and politeness, yet not when it came to the ever so recently deceased? It boggled Nora's mind and to her, it only betrayed an all the more extreme disregard for others. She couldn't help but wish that the 'student' would go and find a study to undertake elsewhere - brand or not.

Walnut was considering his words carefully. The sound of the bell they had heard previously prevented further questions, yet the more they explored this place, the better it would be in the long run. Having made her internal arguments, Walnut then gave Titian a curt nod. Their judgments had come into an accord. "Yes, the unexplored path will suffice," she told him, before she stepped forward and opened the door, entering the trophy room.

She noted the present of a servant and she thought of it for a moment. There had been a servant in every room that they had entered thus far. At no point had they been left alone. That - that could present some issues for certain activities and exercises she had in mind for herself and Titian. "What do you make of the others?" she asked Titian quietly, as she explored the room. She was walking slowly enough that he could whisper his reply if he so chose. She had some concrete opinions on some - and could not care less about others - in their group.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Outside of the Kitchen House
Skills: N/A

Andromeda noted Gilbert's reaction - allergies were still an issue for Paradoxes then. That was good to know - and a bit disappointing. She knew that she could live a full and content afterlife without peanuts, but since periods were no longer an issue, it would have been nice had the other medical problems been resolved. Admittedly however, chocolate chip pancakes were amazing - so she wasn't complaining about the nut substitute itself.

Her eyes widened as Ben grabbed her suddenly. "What are you--" she said quickly, a reaction from pure shock - and a worry that he might be about to choke her or something. Though she knew that since he was making physical contact, she could...well, she could defend herself if needed. Yet then there was a warm tingling sensation and Andromeda looked at him, entirely confused and perplexed as she had a sudden craving for...nuts?! She had a deathly fear of them and yet, here she was, craving them. She couldn't begin to even think of the words to describe that emotion. Yet while the others started pestering Ben with questions and accusations, Andromeda just looked at him.

She then spoke: "Thank you," she told him, her gut telling her that he was telling the truth. "You didn't have to do that - whatever it was - but I appreciate it."

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Flight UA 2199 (Seat 2B) --> the Gate
Skills: N/A

Cecily paused, looking at the files. While Gavin was more of using it to show her that Natasha's behavior didn't match up with the image Cecily had created of her, she couldn't help but notice the pattern as well. She was struck by the fact that Natasha had lived in Justice before. She didn't remember Natasha mentioning that, but she could have been wrong. Maybe these men could have helped her to figure out more about Natasha. Maybe there was something there that could explain things. Or maybe it was just something inexplicable.

As soon as she heard Roy call out her nickname, Cecily practically ran over to him and returned his hug. Roy was one of the very few people left in the world that she knew, without a doubt, she could trust. He was her partner after all. And cop partners basically had a sort of marriage/familial bond. "Yes...He's my partner," Cecily told Gavin. "Roy, this is Gavin...A Texas Ranger." She figured that there was no possible way Roy would know who her flight companion had been. However, there was still the matter of Lincoln. She had told him she'd go and talk with him here in Chicago.

Jack Newnan

Location: Headland: East Main Street E9 (Station Wagon Back Seat Driver's Side)
Skills: Russian

As the car's tires screeched, Jack instinctively, grabbed onto the car seat that precious little Jamie was strapped into. He didn't know why Riley's driving had suddenly taken a turn but he didn't want to risk the sweet tiny thing next to him. Even if Ash hadn't been injured, Jack still would have considered Jamie to be his responsibility practically solely in the back of the car. Jamie was his son. They were connected. The next relative shock to his system was hearing the cold and stern voice Tatiana was using.

He hadn't heard her talk like that before. You listen here husband. The words replayed in his mind and once again, Jack couldn't help but feel that he had failed to protect her - and that all along, she had been the one protecting him. Still, he wanted to argue this point - that if she gave him a rundown he'd be fine infiltrating the building but they just didn't have time for that. They needed to take care of the asshats inside before tornado weather turned into an actual freaking tornado. He didn't like this plan - no, he hated this plan but Jack just shut his mouth.

He grimaced, taking the keys from Riley. "Nothin' bettah happen," Jack muttered. He was trying not to get too angry - that less than an hour after he found Tatiana, he couldn't go to protect her. "YA lyublyu tebya, solovey. Poydi s zadnitsy1," he called out to his wife. He then looked at the baby and then back at Ash and then back at the baby. "...They didn't happen to teach ya how to change a diapah in college, did they?" Jack only had his high school diploma and he knew that his health class sure as hell didn't teach him that.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quincy: Inside House (C8)
Skills: N/A

Beatrice glanced at Alex, giving him a look that clearly said and what exactly are you proposing I do? She didn't have much time to do much of anything as Thalia started to blush and giggle like a school girl - and from Beatrice's perspective Thalia was essentially flailing around. The nude hug and the confiding that someone had taken her shirt? Yeah, Beatrice had to take a slight breath as certain things stirred. "You could try hitting the can against the table," she suggested with a deadpan expression.

"As for the thief of your shirt...That was you, shockingly," Beatrice said. She had her hands full with Thalia and could feel her breasts pressed against her own from the hug. "Now, Manny is going to take a look at you - and if you sit down for him nicely, I'll get you a shirt. And maybe, just maybe if I'm in a good mood, I'll throw in a can opener as well." She then held Thalia's gaze, aware that she was acting firm but she needed to be. She had no idea what Thalia would do in this condition.
