Virginia Crypt

Location: Carlisle (borderline between F8 and F7 ---> F8)
Skills: Nakai, Pavati, Deduction, History (Crypt Family)

Virginia saw the death of her friend, uncomfortable reminiscent of dear Mosi's death less than three days prior. Bad luck supposedly came in threes: the death of Mosi, the threats against her brother's life, and now the demise of sweet Mary. While some may have cut and run, this was the cause that Mary had given her life to - and Virginia wanted to ensure that her dear friend would have a proper Catholic burial. She walked with her god now - just as Virginia knew one day she would greet Veliona on the other side of the veil. Mary would have enjoyed to hear about Ognyena - the goddess of celestial fire.

"Dark Mother, I pray to you," Virginia said as she advanced with her axe and swung, decapitating the first Ryne with ease. "Aid me in avenging my departed sister," Virginia added, feeling the melancholy and darkness as she decapitated a second Ryne, bringing the total slain to eight - nine if Mary was included in the number. She could mourn her later - now was the time for vengeance.

The three further out were moving in quickly, seeing now that one of those that were fighting was dead and they only needed to take out another. The one left near Virginia moved slowly towards her and grinned. "Oh, you must be a Crypt, let's see if we can send you home to your priors," he taunted as he pulled out a necklace that had the symbol of the Crypt family crest emboldened on it.

Virginia held her ground, her axe at the ready as she looked at the Ryne with shock. It had been a long time since she had seen that necklace, but she recognized it instantly. It belonged to her great-grandmother and had been taken with her mother and father before they departed for their voyage. The other three rynes were moving in yet were not yet close enough to attack, yet Virginia knew that she had to make a decision quickly. She could kill the Ryne and lose information as to the whereabouts of her family - or spare his life for the moment and risk falling to the same fate as dear Mary. "I am Virginia Crypt, head of the family in the absence of my father, the Lord Dywell," Virginia told the Ryne, as she readied herself to decapitate the creature. The Dark Mother could protect her parents. She knew her father was alive - it was written in the flames. She would seek life elsewhere and avenge her fallen sister.

"Head of a family of one? Some family," he chuckled as he slipped the item back into his worn coat pocket and smirked at the girl. The other three were moving in, their speed picking up as they moved from a walk to a jog; all of their eyes focused on Virginia. Pretty soon it would be four against one and the one closest too her wasn't waiting anymore as he lunged at the Crypt. His claws coming towards her.

She had spent too much time already focusing on the Ryne. She should have killed him already and as he lunged at her, Virginia blocked effortlessly with the blade of her axe. "The Crypt family does not part with Death," she said simply, her mind still focused on the task at hand. Kill the Rynes, retrieve her heirloom, and ensure Mary received a proper Catholic burial. She then swung her axe, decapitating the one that had dared to attack her and attack her family name. One of the Soulless - Virginia figured it sensed it was outnumbered - turned around and started to run in the direction it had come from.

Maeve Brennan and Sally Kirkpatrick

Location: Kirkpatrick House: (J21 --> I16 --> I14 --> C20)
Skills: Riada

Maeve moved forward, peering ahead. The fog was obscuring their view, yet it wasn't as thick around them as it was around the Soulless - something to be thankful for. Figuring that she would give her peers as much aid as she could in order to slay these creatures quickly and effectively, she took in a breath and tried to unleash a banshee like scream - yet something caught in her throat and she couldn't make a sound. She was rendered mute and she coughed, trying to clear her throat some.

"Oh Fuddle," Calum said as he glanced over towards Maeve. The Soulless were starting to close in and Calum made sure to position himself between the crowd coming in from the west and Maeve. Rory on the other hand started moving northeast as one came around the tree. The two got into a rumble of sorts as it swiped at Rory, his sword coming down and taking the things head off.

Sally took a breath and leaned against her cane some as she watched the Soulless. She was calculating. One strayed from the pack in the north and came around the east end of the tree. Sally walked slowly but intentionally towards it, leaning on her cane as she did. Just as it lunged at her, her cane came up swiftly and she swung. The thing didn't know what hit it as he hit the ground and that canes head crushed it's skull as she thwacked it again, caving its cranium in like it was made of paper.

Maeve moved forward slightly from underneath the tree, having cleared her throat. She glanced at Calum for a moment, yet decided now was not the time for a death-wrought confession of feelings. She had only met him and it was just the stirrings of passion - not some deep love. Taking a breath, Maeve then unleashed the shriek of a banshee, stunning the pack of Soulless to the north. They would be easy prey for Lady Kirkpatrick - or perhaps Rory - now. Or even for Maeve herself.

Calum was the first to get to one of the Soulless on that side of the fight and as he spun around he proved to be much more agile in a fight than he did trying to walk. The rosary came whirling around and cracked so deeply into the creatures skull it took it clean off . He yanked hard and dropped to a knee flinging the head into the pond as the body hit the ground motionless. Lady Kirkpatrick and Rory had their eyes on another Soulless but hadn't managed to attack it yet as they got closer.

Seeing that Lady Kirkpatrick and Rory could both handle a single Ryne with ease, Maeve changed course. She noticed Calum off by his lonesome and she began to move quickly in that direction, sucking in breath as she prepared for another screech to stun the creatures. Once within range, yet still behind Calum, Maeve opened her mouth and let out another screech, stunning the Soulless in the area of her cry.

The Soulless keep closing in, far outnumbering the small group but they are not standing down. As one comes up to Calum he swiftly turns, just barely dodging the swipe of a knife as he brings his crucifix down and embeds it deep into the skull of another. Dropping it like a priest would drop to a knee in prayer. Another comes up to Calum and uses his distraction towards the the Soulless he just claimed to get a blow in. Calum grunts and doubles over as a fist connects with his side and a claw comes across his face, causing blood to spit out of his mouth. Calum is dazed but does not miss the third coming at him this round. It trips over the body of his fallen comrade and Calum is barely able to get an attack in but he does and crushes his skull under his boot. Things are slower over by Rory and Lady Kirkpatrick, the Soulless trying to pull a gun out on Rory but he manages to take the things hand off with a swipe of his sword. As he brings it back on the backstroke he takes it head off.

"Did you really think I was only going to break the fourth wall in X-Men for this?"

"Hey uh... Sorry for the interruption, but there is something that needs to be addressed. As we all have likely heard, today we've lost a great man. And sure, I have been a bit rude to him in the past, but hey, not like he actually created me. Just created just about every main hero that exists in Marvel from most of the Avengers to the Fantastic Four, and yes, the X-Men. So I think it is time for us to have a moment of silence for the guy responsible for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine, and several other characters we've all come to know. Without him, we wouldn't be here. I'm not used to all this mushy stuff, but even I can recognize that we've truly lost someone special today. So all I have to say from everyone in the Marvel universe since no one else can actually talk to you Stan, thank you for everything you've done."

"And one more thing, now we'll need someone else to do all of these cameos, so maybe the execs at Disney will let me do the cameos in a Stan Lee costume..."

@Nallore

Eeep I am getting so excited for this :')

Scott Rydzynski

Location: His Apartment - Seattle, Washington
Interacting With: Janelle

Scott heard her brother on the other end distantly and couldn't help but be happy and irritated - happy that Janelle had someone there with functioning vision, irritated that it was Jace - or Twink Number Two as he thought of him lately. Everyone in this goddamn mess made Scott want to just put a piece of lead between someone's eyes - hell, it could even be his own at this rate since at least that would get him out of all of this nonsense. "Yeah kid, it is - it's fucking nationwide," Scott told Janelle. "I got a visit from some batshit coroner - she seemed pretty guilty if you ask me - so I want you to come to my place. I have all the guns we need."

He then felt his phone buzz and he took it away from his ear for a moment, seeing a text from one of his buddies with a potential job. He'd get back to them after the phone call. If it couldn't wait five minutes for a confirmation, then it wasn't a job that he wanted to get involved with anyways. "I mean it, it ain't safe for a thing like you out there. And I guess you can bring Twink Number Two with ya as well if you insist." He figured that she would, since he was her brother.

Guin Stark

Location: OMEN Facility - the Quinjet

Guin couldn't help but spin around and stare at Wanda. She knew that Pietro's sister hated her, but she thought that they had finished the petty infighting phase of the evening. It was shocking though to hear Magneto defend her - the very many that had kidnapped her before and then tried to kill her back in January of 2019. She doubted this was from him actually liking her as a person and more probably because she developed powers. "Last time you insulted me, bitch, I got a shitty power set - so have at me, let's roll the dice again and see what I pop out this time and use to beat you you pathetic mutant supremacist," Guin spat at Wanda. She then looked at Magneto. "Also you hated me until you found out that I was a mutant, so I don't need your hypocritical ass to defend me."

"Malo Guina, calm down..." Guin then glanced at Muscles for a moment, feeling bad. She knew that he had lost his sister. "...Sorry..." she then mumbled, before she went around the quinjet, grabbing the various components that she would need to build a bomb. She then went around the quinjet, grabbing the various components that she needed. She still felt ashamed about blowing up the Hanson Power Plant - it had been a careless accident and if Pietro hadn't been there, they all would have been dead. Constructing the explosive, she glanced at the others.

Damon was standing there, looking a bit dejected. Folly looked bored if anything and Guin went over to her, handing her the bomb. "This will detonate once you connect these two wires," she explained. "Well, there's a slight delay. That's why I'm sending you - just in case, you know, you aren't fast enough and lose an arm or something...But it should be enough to create a decent sized crater in the front of the building and hopefully drive the fighting outside."

"Got it," Folly said simply, leaving the quinjet with the bomb. Guin watched her go, relieved that she seemed to be on the stable side of her illness at the moment. Otherwise, she wasn't sure how she should feel about giving the mentally ill woman a bomb. She then looked back at Wanda for a moment and Magneto - Pietro's family. Muscle's family. Her future self had practically begged her to make sure that Wanda got out alright.

"...Your hair is nice, Wanda..." Wanda just gave Guin a strange look, saying nothing. "Yeah, that was dumb of me to try, hating each other is simpler..."

Folly Valeska

Location: OMEN Facility - the Quinjet ---> Front Doors

Folly was whistling as she walked off of the quinjet, holding the bomb. She had heard about Guin's mess up at the Power Plant and trusted that if the Stark child knew anything, it was how to make a grand explosion. She found it humorous that she had asked the only person that could survive a misfire as well to install the bomb, but she would have suggested it anyways. Standing in front of the building, she smiled slightly at Damon's dragon.

"Jakobsen," she called out softly. "Up yours," she then said simply, connecting the wires as Guin had showed her. But she was a bit too slow as she turned to run from the device, the GIGANTIC EXPLOSION SETTING OFF! It was incredibly LOUD and she felt her eardrums shatter and heal within seconds due to the proximity. But that was nothing compared to the pain as she was thrown backwards and landed in the ground, her left leg and arm severed from her body. OMEN had to know that they were there now - everyone present on the facility, even in the cells, would have heard that explosion.

And while some might have been mad, Folly just laughed as she lied there in the ground. Unless someone sewed her missing limbs back on, it'd be a while until she'd be in any sort of fighting shape. Regrowing limbs could take hours. She was in immense pain and all she could do was laugh at the cosmic joke. She had done the task that a bomb deposit robot could have done. Her healing factor saved her, but not enough for the fight. "Logan, did this ever happen to you?" she laughed, looking at her hallucination of Wolverine. "I bet it did..."

Damon had rushed out of the quinjet, snatching up the only in tact missing limb of Folly's - her arm. He then grabbed her good arm and dragged her back into the quinjet, and the little madwoman was just laughing her head off. Guin lowered her head slightly, feeling ashamed. She had failed - again. Her legacy was just a series of accidents in critical fights.

Dean Kesseli

Location: OMEN Facility - Cell Block (Area 51, Probably)

Dean just nodded nervously at Ayita. She didn't seem to understand why he had objected to her touching his eyeballs - and he kept flinching randomly, remembering the sensation of the slight pressure on his eyelids and they way it felt as if they were rolling when moved. It was just a nauseating memory for him and one that he was certain he would have nightmares about, if he lived to tell the tale. He then gulped a bit, looking up at Allison. He could see her moving her lips but all he heard was....

He then blinked, startled out of the hallucination as he heard a MASSIVE EXPLOSION! "WE'RE UNDER ATTACK!" he screamed, until he came to his senses and realized that must have been the reinforcements that Pietro talked about. Or at least, he hoped that it was. And he became aware that a part of him was very much awake and he shifted so that way Allison wouldn't be able to see the evidence. Even if he was dying at the moment, he didn't need her to see that. "...Or um...they're under attack..." he then added awkwardly, sweat dripping off his forehead.

Present Day - The Castle: May 4th, 12,508 - 10:30 AM

@Nallore@mnkee@KazAlkemi@LadyRunic: Tristan's health is beginning to make improvements - small improvements. The dose of the cure that he was administered for belladonna poisoning does not seem to be sufficient for how much poison he ingested. Becky ran off to the storerooms and returned with a fresh bottle - the last one, so if this doesn't do the trick then they'll have to make more.

"Should the Queen's bodyguard really be running off at a time like this," Becky muttered. "Is that not what the Young Army is for, chasing those figures..." She shook her head slightly. She then turned to Titan, seeing that he was asking to help her bring in Fyror - but they didn't have enough beds for him. "Please take him to one of the spare rooms along the Third Corridor off of the Long Walk...That will have to do for now."

@LadyRunic: Rhys' fury was matched with Esmeralda's. At the moment he had the upper hand, yet as he released her, Esmeralda spat in his face. "You think I would leave my brother alive after what he did to Fay?!" Esmeralda screamed. She held out her hand and did a bit of Magyk, a crudely cleaned skull seemingly materializing in her hand. "Meet my brother," she then said coolly. "Call me a stupid wench one last time and I will add yours to my collection." She looked at him darkly.

@FantasyChic: Jezebel couldn't help but be worried for the Witch Mother - she was the Witch Messiah and to see her suffering from this Sickenesse...If the Wendron Witches still existed, she would have placed the blame with them. Outside of the once observatory, there was the sound of horns and cornets, announcing the arrival of the convoy from the Lagoon. There were ten horses in all and on a horse of pure white sat Crown Princess Meadow Marissa Mariegolde. Her brother was unmarried and currently held the crown, King Nicholas.

"I seek counsel with the Witch Messiah," Princess Meadow called out in Myde English, though she had an accent of those from the Lagoon that was hard to miss.

Arya Rincewind

Location: Wizard Tower - 20th Floor

Arya felt a warmth spread over her and a yearning sensation take over as Cuyler picked her up, only to set her down in his lap. Atkin would be a while, yet she still felt it would be bold to perform such acts on the 20th Floor. She preferred to take those activities to a bedroom, without the risk of a teenage boy coming back to grab a neat Charm to show off to a friend. However as was always the case with the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, business had to come before pleasure.

"People from all lands need a cure for this Sickenesse," Arya reminded him softly. "I must go into the Forest and ask, if there is even the slightest chance that one of the herbs you recovered might be the key." She then kissed his neck, biting it lightly as to leave a mark before she pulled away. It had been a small taste but she knew she couldn't dare risk continuing or they wouldn't get anything done.

"Come on, let's be off - it will take ages walking - not using Magyk is a good precaution but I do miss just being able to Transport myself and others from location to location..."

Myrus Silvers

Location: the Palace - Attic

Myrus stared at Valda for a moment, feeling sick to his stomach. The voice that whispered in his ear and in Valda's as well - it was so incredibly familiar and his soul ached. The wound on his arm merely stung, the true pain not having kicked in yet but it would in due time. Yet what hurt more was Valda seeing him like this - he had gone up into the attic in order to seclude himself, to keep this pain a private suffering. "I...I..." he stammered. He didn't want to lie to his sister. But what was he supposed to tell her?

Yet he had prayed to the goddess Runa - she was more than just the protector of lost souls, she was the goddess of lies. He had to lie to Valda. "I-I-I was practicing with the knife...t-trying to get stronger....a-a-and a ghost Appeared to me and startled me....it was an accident..." He hoped that the Goddess of Lies would let his falsehoods ring true to Valda, but it was not his luck. The goddess didn't seem to be intervening. It all came down to the merit of his own lies.

"The infirmary is overrun, Queen Valda," a ghost drifting through the attic mentioned. Myrus nodded, looking down at his wound. "I-I can bandage it myself and Becky can look at it later..." he then said quietly.

Antonije Magnisky

Location: Number 40 Alchemie Way - Living Room

"Али истина је, тата!" Marya protested, rolling her eyes slightly. She didn't see what the harm was in making an observation. Myth was six months pregnant - she was going to be showing. And Marya was certain that Myth would get her figure back after she had the kid. Marya then giggled, looking at Myth. "I'm too fast for you to hurt me!" she boasted. To make a point, Marya took off running and there was a large BOOM as she broke the sound barrier. Those on Wizard Way would be able to hear the sound as well as those at the Palace.

Antonije rolled his eyes at his sister. "Требало би да се одмарате, Маrya!" he called out, knowing that odds were she was already at the outer wall of the Castle. His sisters were as quick as they were irritating sometimes. And in this particular instance, Marya had decided to be a show off. Antonije then looked at Bruce. "Do you want to go comfort your wife with an Asgardian mutant brat inside of her or should I go do it?" he said bluntly. He figured there was a chance Sylvia would refuse to leave the basement - it had been fifteen minutes since he came upstairs so he was considering going to check on her soon.

For Myth, her best option would be the master suite - the toilet flushed thanks to some mechanical contraption Antonije had designed and would provide her with the easiest clean up.

The Sea: The Aricie - Nearing the Port

Captain James looked up at Ahote for a moment, a slight smirk on her face. Well, there was one thing that she'd have him do but with the tiny female next to her, she wasn't certain it was the most appropriate topic of conversation. "Aye, see me in me quarters once we depart from this Port," Harlianne said with a mischievous wink. One of the crew called out to her in the tongue of the Lagoon and Harlianne nodded, saying a quick farewell to Ahote and the girl as she went below deck to deal with whatever crisis had formed.

"True North?" the girl asked Ahote, giving him a charming smile. She then gave Grimspound a friendly wave across the deck. The two of them were acquaintances, to say the very least. His appearance and the slight accent had tipped her off to his likely country of origin. "I'm Minerva - Minerva Frost," she added. Her own accent placed her as from the northern lands - perhaps the Land of Long Nights or the Strange Land or the Witch Kingdom.

She then glanced over at Grimspound, rolling her eyes slightly. Of course he was reading a damn book.

"...OUT OF THE SHADOWS INTO THE LIGHT..."
@BlueSky44@Kirah@Nallore@FantasyChic
Hassenstadt, Latveria Region, Serbia: August 30th, 2020 - 2:30 P.M.

@Nallore: There's still no reply from Agent Kennedy. It's definitely time to worry, since it's possible that either he's fighting a pack of HYDRA agents or they already took him out. However, Cass will know that once power is restored, she can track him down via his comm device and see where exactly he is. Luckily, she doesn't run into any agents on her way down and there aren't any blocking her way to restore the power/coms either. Yet Cass will run into a problem... It wasn't just that they cut the power: they overloaded it. Every circuit is fried. The capacitors look swollen and Cass will know this means that she has to replace them outright - hopefully everything else will be functional. The Bus won't be going anywhere for a while.

Raynor Blake & Dominika Novikova

Location: Castle Doomstadt: Inside (First Floor Foyer) (Kitchen)
Skills: Dimensional Energy Perception (Passive), Earth Manipulation, Strategy,
Light Manipulation, Infiltration, Security Analysis

As the newly reformed Team Tinley approached the staircase, they weren't the only ones on the lookout for hostiles. The S.H.I.E.L.D. team had been relatively quiet but gunfire was hard to ignore and it had been exchanged on both sides. They had been lucky so far that Von Bardas' security team hadn't come to look from other areas, but now it seemed a pair were heading down the very spiral staircase that Tinley and the others wanted to go up.

"...I'll look at the plans later," Novikova agreed, taking them and making sure that they wouldn't be lost. One of the hostiles sent a shot down at them, but Nikolai breathed fire and created a shield of sorts, causing the bullet to drop to the ground. "They have the high ground, Agent Abercrombie," Nikolai observed. He then looked at Novikova. "See if you can change that."

"...Okay," Novikova said, looking up the stairs for a split second before she held out her hand. The ground underneath the staircase started to shake and she was capable of destroying the staircase, but it was near a load bearing pillar and she didn't want to disrupt it. Instead of knocking the hostiles entirely off of the staircase, the shaking caused one to lose his balance and fall down a few steps, whereas the other dropped his gun and it misfired. Luckily the bullet hit the wall and not any of the agents.

Meanwhile, Raynor had made his way with his ball of light over east as indicated. He had heard the cries in the kitchen, and rather than come at the hostiles straight on, he made his way around the island and came at the from behind. Hawkeye wasn't the only one able to be stealthy and he hardy made a noise, knocking the hostiles over with his lights before they could even turn around and draw their weapons. "And that is why you always bring a flashlight to a gun fight," Raynor muttered, before he ran over to the others.

He looked at Niah for a moment, taking some time to assess her wound. It didn't look good. They'd need Tempest to heal her pronto - she was losing way too much blood and with a stomach injury like that, it'd be dangerous to move her. "Tempest, she's got minutes," Raynor said bluntly. Truthfully, it was less than that. "Can you heal her? If not, I'll try to cauterize the wound, buy us some time to evac her to the Bus."

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

Jenna nodded at her cousin, indicating more or less that she didn't want to talk about this now that Abe was there. He would probably try to stop her from leaving Red Lake and she was already irritated that he had shown up now - and that it had taken him this long to do so as well. If he was going to follow them or end up at the same location, she wished he would have done it ages ago. "We're saving Riley," Jenna said bluntly. "And I know you'll think I'm naive, but I'm not scared of anything that's in this mine. I - we - can handle it."

She followed after Abe, noting the sense of evil that seemed to crawl up her back but it didn't scare her. There were things out there in the world that terrified her - but pure evil? It didn't, strangely. If anything, it just let her know that they were getting closer - that it wouldn't be long until they found Riley and put this entire mess behind them. Finley was going to be so mad that she was missing on this - but Jenna reminded herself that she didn't care and it wouldn't bother her anyways.
