Nora Kingston & Gene Benaszewski

Location: The Ferry - the Second Deck (Dining Area)
Skills: N/A

Nora felt relieved to see that her tardiness had not been taken as a slight against Lady Munn. With all of the problems and chaos they were facing, the last thing they needed was to have a spat brewing over decorum. Of course, a bit of pettiness or perhaps anger that she could not yet process fully prevented her from even imagining smoothing things over with that irritating woman from before - Mosi. She understood Lady Munn's veiled explanation of the events that were transpiring - they would appear immensely illogical and impossible if not merely improbable to an outsider.

But Gene just raised an eyebrow at the mention of puzzles and ancient religions. "Say what you mean," Gene told Lady Munn simply, folding the wrapper of her sweet into various different shapes. First a square, then a rhombus, then some odd thing with triangles - creased and uncreased as she continued to just fiddle with it. She doubted that Lady Munn was telling her the entire truth - puzzles didn't cause educated people to turn to hokkum like that. And while others may not, Gene kept an open mind. She had seen a lot and doubted that anything Lady Munn said would truly shock her to her core.

Gene then gave Josephine a bit of a friendly wave as she sat down and Nora gave Jo a bit of a kind smile. Although any friendship between them on the outside would appear unlikely, Josephine had imparted a bit of wisdom that Nora was thankful for. She had to give the woman credit where credit was due. She was welcome company and Nora enjoyed having female friends - it was a nice feeling. She did not mind isolation and solitude, but that did not mean that she was opposed to spending time with others - especially those who had put in the effort to get to know her and allowed her a space in which she could speak her mind.

"Which one are you again?" Gene then asked Reddish, looking at him. She couldn't recall having been introduced to him and Nora had given Reddish a bit of a polite smile. He was British military and she imagined had been sent down by Lord Major - though she found it odd that the man himself and Lauren were both not present. Her eyes widened slightly as she realized that they must not have informed them of their intentions to eat on the second deck as opposed to the elite deck. As Mosi sat down, Nora ignored her on principle. She didn't care to have any sort of interaction with her - not after her callous treatment of dear Neema.

Walnut observed Titian's reactions carefully, knowing that if things went one way she'd have to avert her course and take some drastic measures for the sake of dignity. Yet seeing him respond positively to her suggestion, she smiled genuinely at him from underneath her masquerade mask - and as it only covered her eyes truly, her smile was visible. Perhaps others would have found it strange or odd to spend this much time with a stranger in a situation such as this, but to Walnut, that was precisely the exact reason to do such a thing. She felt she had glimpsed Titian's character - and he seemed to have glimpsed her own.

"If only we had chains, then we could have some real fun..." Walnut mused, letting her eyes sweep around the lunar ballroom one last time - yet her thoughts were elsewhere and certainly not on the décor. She then gave him a nod, taking his arm as she headed to the door and headed through, emerging in the Starry Salon where they had been not too long ago. The lunar ballroom could be revisited another time - perhaps with the same partner. Aside from the servant, they appeared to be alone and she paused for a moment. "To the central hall?" she asked. The alternative was the trophy room.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: Flight UA 2199 (Seat 2B)
Skills: N/A

"...That's nice, but I don't think that's true," Cecily said softly, taking the bandana from Gavin. She knew that she was intending to dry her eyes with it, but instead she just gripped the fabric, on occasion rubbing her thumbs against it and focusing on the texture. It was a calming practice - one her college roommate, William, had often done. He went through stress balls the way some people went through Altoids Mints and had to come up with an alternative. "She was going to get married...had just moved to Justice...I don't think she wanted to escape or run away or anything like that..."

She hadn't known Natasha very long, but she didn't strike her as the type that would relocate to a new place and then abandon her entire life - especially not the person she loved. She heard the announcement on the intercom and started to pick at her food, having to consciously tell herself eat a little bit - good, now, try to eat a bit more... It was like how she had to coach herself to go to therapy - put one foot in front of the other, one little step at a time. She doubted that she'd finish her food but at least she would eat something before landing in Chicago - and then Roy would be there and she could crumble into a little ball safely.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Ville au Camp - Outside of the Kitchen House
Skills: N/A

Andromeda couldn't help but grimace slightly as Faith wanted to go back to the circus grounds. In her experience, the circus could be a deadlier and crueler place than it was often thought of - she hadn't experienced funnel cakes and cotton candy. She felt a bit calmer as Gilbert came, especially when he called it a carnival instead of a circus. She knew that he had to know of her history - but the others didn't. She hadn't exactly mentioned to the other Paradoxes what had caused her to die at a relatively young age.

"...This might be a completely unneeded thing, but I can't have tree nuts or peanuts..." Andromeda then mentioned to Gilbert uneasily. Even if she was able to eat them in this new life, she didn't think that she could make herself do that. While most with peanut and tree nut related allergies had mild symptoms, hers were severe - the sort that could easily become life threatening if not properly managed. She glanced at the offered cigarette and shook her head lightly. Between the mentions of the circus and nuts, she was feeling incredibly uneasy. But she knew that she had to control her fear - or her fear would control her. Unfortunately, that could be easier said than done.

Jack Newnan

Location: Headland: East Main Street E9 (Station Wagon Back Seat Driver's Side)
Skills: Russian

Jack barely registered that the nun wouldn't be joining them. He was still so focused on Jamie, the apple of his eye. However, as Tatiana proposed her and the girls handling the men, his heart clenched. He didn't want to lose Tatiana so soon after finding her. "Solovey, you're hurt," Jack said quietly. "I can swap in for ya," he then offered. He glanced outside the car window for a moment, noting the darkening of the clouds. Just as he had gotten his family back, it was as if hell was threatening to open back up and swallow them whole.

He was about to interject with Ash when Tatiana beat him to the point. Her blunt way of shutting Ash down surprised him - his Tatiana wouldn't have done that. She had changed. But he knew that he still loved her and he didn't doubt it for a second. He had changed too. To expect her to remain static after the hellish year she must have had...that was insane. They'd have time to talk later, once they had gotten to safety. It wasn't just Tatiana and Jamie he wanted to protect - he had his friends there with him too. If it hadn't been for them, he might not have found his family again.

Beatrice Decker

Location: Quincy: Inside House (D8 --> C8)
Skills: N/A

Beatrice nodded, taking the bottle Alex had given her and drinking from it slowly. It was sweltering inside and the water wasn't cool, but it was better than nothing and it helped to take the edge off slightly. She then considered what Alex had suggested - unfortunately, all of the mattresses were currently in use blocking the windows. They had used the blankets as well, so she wasn't sure there was much of an alternative to the table at the moment. Perhaps they could find some towels or something to make it slightly comfier - or a large dog bed if they were lucky.

However, her eyes widened ever so slightly as Thalia scrambled off of the table and started to strip. She couldn't help but be relieved that Thalia at least kept her pants on. She glanced at Alex for a moment, trying to reassure herself that she could stay cool and collected around the half naked impaired and gorgeously attractive woman. She wasn't about to do anything Thalia couldn't consent to. "Do you need a hand?" Beatrice asked Thalia, holding out her hand. Half naked and high, sure, but she wasn't about to let Thalia stay on the ground.

She already wanted some more water. It was way too damn hot.

Guin Stark

Location: the Quinjet

Her confidence restored and her mood lightened, Guin nodded, taking a bit of a breath. She had dried her eyes and then queued up her favorite song to blast throughout the plane: Cherry Bomb by the Runaways. It was practically her anthem. "...Can't stay at home, can't stay at school, old folks say 'You poor little fool'. Down the streets I'm the girl next door. I'm the fox you've been waiting for," Guin sang lightly to herself. "And if you call Baby a bucket of bolts again, you can walk to Charles Manson's Vacation Home," Guin told Mary as they lifted off and flew to the facility at top speed. It helped that she had the A.I.'s assistance.

"Hello, daddy. Hello, mom. I'm your ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb! Hello world! I'm your wild girl. I'm your ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb!" Guin kept singing. It was a quick trip, since the facility wasn't too far from them and the quinjet was state of the art. There was a reason that the Avengers used it almost exclusively for travel - though the sports cars would have been fun. After a few moments, she landed the quinjet at the facility, shutting off the music - regrettably. I'm here, babe...Well, we're here.

"...That's good to know... Apparently there might be more than a hundred agents or so in this building." Guin's blood ran cold hearing that and she gripped the console once more, trying to keep her lifted mood. She didn't really need to spiral down again, especially since everyone was here and would be witness to her soap opera of a life. ...What else can you tell me? And you told the others we're coming right - well that we're here? "Uh, I'll tell them, but that is about it, there isn't too much I can figure out at the moment." Guin frowned slightly. Something was bothering her. ...Had you not told them yet? "...Well I'm talking with you."

"Muscles, you're an idiot - an incredibly sexy idiot, but an idiot," Guin told his future self. "Anyways Pietro says there's over a hundred agents in the building," Guin then informed the others. "So...Our best bet I'm thinking would be a distraction. Maybe something to flush them out of the building. There's got to be emergency protocols - or we could just try blowing something up to get the agents out so we can get to everyone..."

"Wait what?" the future speedster said, "And blowing something up sounds like it would be fun."

I love you, but you can multitask Silver Balls! I've been talking with other people while talking with you. Hell, I flew a plane and I've only done that once or twice before with limited success. "I know that... But still..." Come on babe, you gotta focus if you're going to come and kiss me okay? Guin then thought for a moment. There wasn't much in the area that they could blow up - beyond their own plane - and the roof seemed to be the easiest way to get in. There weren't very many exposed windows and the front door seemed risky to her. "What is that supposed to mean?" Stop focusing on me. "Why?" Because there's more important things to do. "Really?" Yes, you horny man!

"For explosions...I could try the front door. Get them to come at us from that angle, then an infiltration team could enter by the roof," Guin suggested. "I think they're on the lower levels...that's my gut feeling, at least."

Folly Valeska

Location: the Quinjet

Damon glanced at them, hearing the proposals for a distraction and he shook his head. "We can't have the ship down here and up there at the same time, and we don't have people who can fly up to the roof easily...If it's a distraction you need, then that's my job," he said, before he ran off of the jet. His tattoos were bristling and he looked at the facility for a moment, before taking a breath. "Dragon....Wreak havoc."

The dragon tattoo came off of his body and the dragon appeared, but apparently seeing a dragon was a normal thing for this facility and it was largely ignored. Damon's face fell and Folly couldn't help but chuckle slightly at it all. You would think that a dragon would elicit some sort of reaction. "Look, I can go in and start clearing through people," Folly suggested. "They can't kill me and I am very much proficient at killing them." She liked the distraction idea, but it just didn't seem to be practical. Damon's dragon was flying around and nothing was happening.

In fact, nothing seemed to be happening in regard to the fact that they had landed. "...Do they not have ways to monitor what's going on outside?" Folly wondered, her eyes flickering towards Magneto. She was beginning to get another idea as to what they could do.

Dean Kesseli

Location: OMEN Facility - Cell Block (Area 51, Probably)

"...It's not my prom..." Dean mumbled, his vision blurring in and out of focus but at least he wasn't bleeding anymore. "It's...it's about everyone...about celebrating before a..." However, he then started screaming as Ayita peeled back his eyelid. "What the freaking hell?!?!?" Dean exclaimed, blinking rapidly and trying to get her to not be touching his eyelid anymore. Using what strength and energy he had left, Dean managed to sort of kick Ayita out of the way - but it was more of a panicked flail as he scrambled backwards.

It hurt like hell with his bullet wound, but he always hated eye doctors as a kid. He couldn't stand things getting even close to his eyes. Having someone forcefully peel back his eyelid...He felt sick and panicked just thinking about thinking about it. Panting heavily from that experience and the bullet, he then heard that apparently the squishy scientists were combat trained. "So, the others are outside of the building now."

"How the hell do you know?" Dean muttered.

"...Long story, not going to go into it, but they are here, so that's a good thing."

"Cool, I'm going to shut my eyes, please don't let anyone touch my eyelids..."
